When you replace your sway bar links (that's what we call what you have pictured) you want them to be about the same length, more specifically, you want your sway bar to be horizontal with the ground. You can use those, but you risk breaking them and you'll get a bit of a rougher ride. These are what I use.
These work perfect for those.

recently replaced mines last year bought from the local toyota dealer though, just looked identical with amazon ones, just re-boxed labeled lexus and yota. Still made in Taiwan
Read some were able to source made from Japan, but more pricey.
Yes, it is real leather. Here is a link to the Amazon item I purchased and installed. I ordered size M for my 2002 3rd gen 4runner steering wheel.
When installing it, follow the instructions, and take your time. It will look and feel great if you do this. It says "tight is right" when stitching it and this is best! Keep lots of tension on the stitch and it will turn out best.
I've had a ram mount for 2 years, amazing things when you're bouncing around going fast. If not, get somethin cheaper

Toyota p/n is 9007599080 for the socket. Junk yard might be easier and a little cheaper (depending on your yard and accessibility) bc you might have to pin the socket rather than splicing here’s an amazon link for the Toyota part (it’s says Camry but it’s the same p/n) https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Toyota-90075-60060-Socket-Plug/dp/B00FZP7K7G
These worked for me and were stupid easy to put on so long as you keep track of where your washers go. Took me less than 10 minutes with the girlfriend holding up the hatch while I did the install. As soon as I click open the hatch the hatch lifts itself.
Happy to help! For what it’s worth, this little sub-$20 transmitter works amazingly well. So much so that stopped in traffic, my buddy in the truck ahead of me was easily picking up my signal on his radio too. Very much recommend if anybody is on the fence.

But you will need a longer air tube that’s inside the fender. I used PVC and heated up one end and molded it to the factory pipe going to my air box. So an extra $15 of Homedepot material.
It took 2 hrs...but if I had to do it again it would take less than 1 hr. You’re probably a little brighter than me;)

I wondered about the same thing. The harness i used to install my HU included a harness for steering wheel controls which is the small connector in the far right of the picture. : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0999K65HX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dtod_b_product_details
But what got my curiosity was that the steering wheel connector has a red: power/black:ground leads which signaled to me that the steering wheel controls were-could be powered thru the OE HU/Amp harness...
Id be interested in seeing if would work..
Mine didn't come with factory fogs - but I was able to swap out the steering column signal stick with one that had fog switch and attach these to the exiting factory wiring.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083TXGSGV/
Going on 2 years without issue, aimed properly, the low beams work great as cutoff fogs and the highs work amazing as backcountry floods / compliments to the stock headlights.
Throw some atp stop leak in it for now. Then replace it.
In a pinch while off roading weve used it in steering racks an even brake systems. It gets er done till the new parts go in.
I’m not sure about the window trim. That may be pretty hard to find in good shape.
But the door seals are an easy fix. I ordered this weatherstripping and some 3M black adhesive and did all 4 doors. No reason to try and find OEM door seals and pay more for the same result.
I cut off the peeling parts of mine and wrapped it with this. Any place that I cut leather away, you can feel a slight difference. That said, its leagues better than when it was peeling and wasn’t too hard to put on
I think you haven't removed enough motorcycle carrier "track" cross bolts for one of the wheels to drop into it's "hole" or "wheel well"? Mine came with bolts with cotter pins so that once the wheel falls into the "hole" you can put the bolt through the wheel and pin it so that the bike can't disconnect from the carrier even if everything else goes wrong.
I think I have the same carrier. It is the cheapest on the market and is "rated" for 500 lbs. It goes by many brands but is basically a generic (Chinese, I assume) lowest-price carrier (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YPRLPLY). The "wheel hole" thing wasn't included with the instruction because they are almost useless. I found that by looking up videos on how to use a motorcycle carrier.
I've got mine strapped up. I've got two 800 lb rated ratchet straps connecting the 4Runner rear hatch hinges (the hooks can bind/fit under) to the carrier track that take much of the weight off the carrier. I've got a side ratchet strap that limits side-to-side flop.

Also, for what it’s worth the puller that I used (linked below) makes life a lot easier than using a pickle fork or a ball joint puller that seems to slip off like you said.
You can also opt to rent a kit that includes this at your local car parts store, usually for free.

Not totally sure, it should only go up if you are in the radio mode on the factory head-unit. If you're listening to a tape or cd, it should be down. That's why the feature was important to me, I almost never listen to the radio and would prefer the antenna to just stay down.
Most aftermarket units will extend your antenna as soon as you power it up, regardless of what input you are using and there is no way to retract it. Even though I have mine working how I want, I'm considering moving to a small antenna.
I paid $14 for my keyless entry kit from Amazon. Works great. Like 3 or 4 wires for installation.
Haha thank you, I really appreciate that!

I ordered a random LED interior light kit from Amazon for 12 bucks. Super bright lights, fit easy as they seem to be mostly universal, and ended up giving the rest to a buddy to do his truck. The ones I ordered are similar to these.
Thanks ! Got the lights from Amazon. Still just halogen bulbs and housing but didn’t wanna drop the cash on a full retrofit . Light output with halogens is still plenty enough for me .

Here's the link...definitely low quality but all the features work.
It looks terrible, but don't get overwhelmed...I've seen much much worse.
1- Disconnect all of this from the battery 2- Trace all non-OEM wires (should be fairly obvious) and either remove them or label them for where they go/intended purpose 3- Once you understand where everything is going and/or simplified by removing unnecessary wiring, get yourself a bus, something like this: Fuse block 4- Add a single lower gauge (thicker) wire from the positive terminal to this block, and then all your added accessories power wires should go to each spot with a fuse. Grounds can be done wherever convenient.
In my 98, with cup holders up top, I use a vent mounted magnetic mount, phone is able to rest on the cup holder so doesn’t usually rattle off.
In the 99 I got a windshield mount that is working great. It’s an AUKEY and isn’t on Amazon anymore but looks just like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097T5QXSX/ref=cm_sw_r_em_api_glt_fabc_1HJZ0D3ZN23PYH15EJ6B?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 The way it’s mounted, the curve of the holder arm rests on the edge of the dash, and the phone ends up resting an inch or so out from the dash. With the weight being on the edge of the dash it is pretty secure, though I wouldn’t expect to bounce around on the trail and not secure it otherwise.
I got a magnetic mount and just stuck it right of the emergency lights button. It kind of blocks the vent but I'm happy with it.

thank you for this!
I checked on mine and one of the breathers is good, but the other one does not slide up and down at all. I can only spin it.
For replacing it, do I need to replace the entire hose and the breather cap at the top? Or is it possible to just replace the breather cap at the top? I was messing with it and I'm not sure I will be able to remove the breather cap from the hose. Is it just a matter of pulling the cap out of the hose?
I found a replacement cap on Amazon which makes me think the cap itself can be removed:

I used these #74's (same ones I used for the climate control and key ring) because the video I watched said the cluster used #194 LEDs but they were way too big for the sockets on my cluster. These fit perfectly. No issues with wattage. The #74 bulbs (Sylvania or whatever AutoZone sells) use 1.5w and these only use 1w.

These are the #74 bulbs that I ended up using for the 3 Cluster lights and the key ring and the 2 Climate Control lights. Basically what I found out after taking everything apart is 99?-02 (mines a 2000) has a revised gauge cluster and the 194's didn't fit. The bulb was basically identical to the #74 tho so I used those instead.

This is the #194's I bought but didn't end up using because they were about twice the size of my sockets for the clusters. So I can't really comment on them but they seem decent quality.
I used this part and spliced it into the gray wires at the connector for the clock. I can do a more detailed write up in a separate posts.
It's possible for sure but bubbling coolant could also be a bad thermostat, radiator cap, or dreaded head gasket. However, there are other symptoms that go along with a head gasket.
That being said, it would be best to make sure the system if fully filled. Just to rule out an air bubble.
I always use one of these funnel kits when refilling coolant. Makes the job cleaner and much easier to burp out air bubbles.
https://www.amazon.com/OEMTOOLS-87009-No-Spill-Coolant-Filling/dp/B01A2CQSU6
And just a heads up, if you have a rear heater, the vehicle holds more coolant than the ones which do not have one.
It took me almost 30 minutes to full get out all of the air when I did a full drain and flush on my 98 with a rear heater.

Strongarm added weight lift supports. Expect your top bushings to be shot, I used some nylon spacers form the hardware store, but may order the brass bushings another user posted, earlier and swap them out. Aside from losing one easy to replace e-clip, It was easy enough to do one my own, one side at a time with the help of a 7ft 1x2" board as a kick stand.

Deep black trim does wonder for these SR5's. You used a color-matched paint? Curious to see how it holds up. I've used https://www.amazon.com/BLAK-PERMANENT-PROTECTANT-Prevents-Weatherproof/dp/B007MGIPTS with very good results, but it's been a yearly (18mo) application. I just bought the tan husky liners off of Amazon: Husky Liners Front Floor Mats... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CMKEJS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
People are a mixed bag on mats. Half love weathertech and half love husky liners.
I got these because it’s $65 for a set vs $135 for the weathertech and you don’t need to cut them to have them fit.
They look and work great so far! (Only had them for one day)
My only qualm is that I have a manual transmission and at first I thought the clutch was going to catch on the mat every time, but with a little finesse I was able to make it not interfere.
I love my Nite Ize holder, if you go with the one below make sure you buy the ball mount as well. Over 6 years I've replaced the phone holder once and the adhesive on the mount 2-3 times, but overall it's been a great product. One handed mounting/dismounting as well.
I mounted two of these on my ceiling (with wood spacers so the rods are parallel-ish with the ceiling). 8' bass rods fit (just barely, if you mount the rear one far enough forward after test fitting).
Key is to run a bungee or something similar across the back support, with bait caster reels my rods would always fall out eventually as the foam wore out. I can't find the exact ones I have, I have one that has a locking/plastic back instead of the foam and that works much better.
Yeah if you have access to a compressor gun that’s the way to do it, plus buying that stuff by the gallon buckets must be way cheaper than buying the individual cans. Since you have to redo it every year might as well make it easier on yourself. I wouldn’t want to mess around with the cans. This year I will add this product to the mix though and use this to get inside of the frame and coat whatever I can there.
