Here is the download link
The game is best played with controller and a few friends.
It is however possible to play it with two people on one keyboard. The keys are: Arrows, WASD and 1289.
IF anyone wants to follow the development there is a subreddit called /r/SquareBrawl
Air Brawl is two words :)
Other than that, I really like it; it both looks good and is pretty responsive. The images should be more compressed though, as it isn't very well optimised for slower download speeds.
EDIT: I also think some more exciting gameplay would be a good idea for the index video.
Get rid of the whitespace, noob! I've done it for you, here, use this instead: https://www.mediafire.com/?4oawsyjxddqdxc8
Also you should get rid of those arrow things on your icons using Ultimate Windows Tweaker, http://www.thewindowsclub.com/ultimate-windows-tweaker-v2-a-tweak-ui-for-windows-7-vista
I've heard people have had some success with programs like Xpadder. Maybe that could be a workaround for the time being?

(Yes it's free!)
I know zero about linux or specific builds of linux, is this what you're talking about?

Or do you need a specific build for your specific linux build?
This guy suggests that the download from the IndieDB page worked for him
Download the linux version from here: http://www.indiedb.com/games/air-brawl/downloads/air-brawl-alpha-demo-linux
Extract the files
Make the one that matches your architecture (x86 for 32bit or x86 for 64bit) executable. You can do this by right clicking the file->Properties->Permissions->Check "Allow executing as program" (specifics will vary depending on which file manager you are using), then double click the file to launch. The other way is to go to terminal and type
cd path/to/download/file
chmod +x LINUX.x86_64 # or LINUX.x86 as appropriate
./LINUX.X86_64 # runs the game
Also note that there seems to be some issues with script kiddies right now. See https://www.reddit.com/r/AirBrawl/comments/2zjl0p/must_purchase_the_full_version_to_continue_playing/
I messed around with python for a bit, but it was a bit annoying that it didn't compile to an executable since I wanted to make shit that worked on my pc and other laptops and shit w/o making sure everything is installed. So I started learning Go and it's really nice.
