Decide first whether you have time or not.
If you do, just search for free courses or videos, and manually explore the whole process. (Here is a good guide https://amzscout.net/blog/amazon-fba-business/)
If you are lacking time, you can enroll in a paid course and buy tools that will save you time on your search.
However, choose carefully as there are hundreds of them. I recommend the ones that have free trials and a transparent refund policy.
Allright cool. Thanks
What about something like a mailbox? What do I gotta do to avoid infringement claims. Or rather what do I need to where I can fight back and win an infringement claim? Example, I wanna sell something like this Locking Mailbox Wall Mounted... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07THY1QKR
Selling on Amazon is the most profitable way to earn money right now. Check this story to learn how you can get started (https://amzscout.net/blog/how-to-start-selling-on-amazon/).
All you need to do is find the right product to sell. You can do this by yourself or use a tool for search and analysis which will save you time.
Some tools have free trials so that you can test them out.

I would recommend reading various articles on the topic of doing business on Amazon. This is not the easiest way to make money, because you need to have a sufficiently large theoretical base to really succeed. I would recommend paying attention to other ways to make money on Amazon. This article lists them all: https://amzscout.net/blog/how-to-make-money-on-amazon-a-step-by-step-guide/ I think Merch by Amazon is also a good idea.
Check this out:

Seems very odd to me that between June 10-15, tons of positive reviews came in??? I flagged them as not valid - let's see what Trust Pilot comes back with.
Maybe others can flag them as well?
I recommend not only watching courses, but also reading articles and watching videos. Even though these sources of information are free, they are still valuable. I can recommend this site: https://amzscout.net/. There are a lot of useful articles on the blog. They also host a YouTube channel.
Some sellers make good money on Amazon. I recently found an article from a seller who not only says how much he earns, but also backs up his statements with screenshots. Here's a link, if anyone is interested: https://amzscout.net/blog/how-to-start-selling-on-amazon/. He gives good advice in the article that could be useful to someone.
I absolutely understand your point of view. It is better not to believe what they write if there is no supporting evidence. The Internet is full of success stories, but how real are they? I did find one article with real numbers and real screenshots. The author of the article is also a real person. He has his own popular courses about Amazon FBA: https://amzscout.net/blog/how-to-start-selling-on-amazon/ I hope this is helpful for you.
I always do product research in two steps. First step is to make a list of trending products and then choose items that suit my criteria from that list. For the first step, you can use free methods such as the Amazon Trend report and the category "Movers & Shakers" (updates hourly, you could select a product that appears frequently there). You can also use Google Trends to see what people are searching for. For the second step, when I choose from the list, my criteria is: weight below 5 lbs., sale price $10 - $60, target price 25% from sale price, size below 18” x 14” x 8”, not more than 100 reviews and not seasonal products. If you have extra money and want to do deep research, I also recommend using analytical tools. I use AMZScout, and they offer a free trial. They also publish a lot of articles. For example, you can find product ideas here: https://amzscout.net/blog/amazon-best-sellers/ Good luck!
It is never too late :). FBA will do everything for you related to logistics and shipping. Yes, you are right that competition depends on the niche and products. If you are hesitating, you can read this article: https://amzscout.net/blog/how-to-start-selling-on-amazon/. Very inspiring article. It also acts as an introduction guide to FBA. I hope it will help you.
I chose Amazon because it's a simpler platform. Whether you're fulfilling yourself or using Amazon, there are more than enough customers to make a profit and I don't have to do as much advertising.
These research tools are a major time saver, and help me to search effectively. I started with an AMZScout free trial, then realized that it's really helpful for research, and bought an annual subscription. Btw, their price is not as high as others
>I see Amazon is telling me my fees are a lot 50%?! Idk how. I go to a detailed report and the only fees I see are 39.99 for service, inbound shipment cost for sending inventory. Amazon FBA fees I assume are the cost for each item they pack and ship. “Amazon fees” for $491.59 cents is a whole other thing I do not get.
