Facts are :
most trades with ANS right now are not on bittrex and are with CNY and not Bitcoin https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antshares/#markets
all is connected yes. as BTC is a big player in the same market, but will the downfall of BTC bring the downfall of NEO? no way.. it might slow things down but that is all. the money will change hands, but the technology, the potential, all of it.. still holds.
Long term. only way to look at any of this. super long term
Then you must not know where to look... the vast majority of ANS volume traded via Chinese exchanges (over 60%). The western market is rather small compared to the Chinese community supporting it

Well, I guess the entire crypto market is sinking then, huh? Looks like nobody get their lambos. :(
Every single coin in the top 25 is down.

I would insult you but I think nature did a better job.
Binance (a new exchange carrying ANS/NEO) is promoting the use of NEO (a.k.a. ANS) to pay for BNC (their ICO token). I think the ETH sale ran out, so NEO is next... this could cause the price to go up too (maybe even higher than $8).
i have way way more ANS and atm i'm keeping them all @bittrex,
after rebranding to NEO i will move them to https://www.binance.com/ where by keeping ANS there you will be also getting ANC
or will just move them to wallet.
but definately after rebranding will not keep them @bittrex which is just stealing our ANC.
This private key is 79 characters long. Most websites recommend a password of around 12 characters long. That would take 4 years to brute force on an average computer. How about a 79 character one? Well, that would take about 3 quadragintillion years (3 * 10^123). That is longer than the age of the universe (about 14 billion years). In fact, according to simple Excel math, that is about 2 * 10^113 times as long as the age of the universe.
I think your keys are pretty safe.
Calculate for yourself: https://howsecureismypassword.net/
You say this based on what? Technical analysis? Nearly everything is clearly down - and ANS is not among the biggest losers (not even in the top 30 of them). https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/ It's still bouncing around the 61,8 % Fibonacci Level. http://imgur.com/dR1vWK8
Its an exchange opening in asia and globally. Their goal is to be the next Poloniex (but better). https://www.binance.com/en#contact
They were at the conference and will list NEO as one of the initial coins on the platform.
This may help to support though I may be off. Today ANS was 11th largest by volume and almost 70% of the trades were done in china. And this was not really a big day from what has been happening recently..
>We know Ethereum has a lot of ICO projects, every projects will issue their own token. This is a very common feature, the Ethereum supports it well, NEO also supports it , because it can store contract data. But the second point, NEO also provides digital identities, which is not present in Ethereum. The reason is not they don’t want to, but it’s against their design goal. We know that Ethereum and Bitcoin are designed to have anonymous ,anti-censorship and decentralization. So it’s not necessary for them to provide a digital identity to expose the person behind it. NEO provides such feature, through a simple method – digital certificate, using existing KPI system, which we will have some upgrades for it.

This is from the previous conference.
The upcoming conference is more about development/developing/coding.
Time to buy more and more before the potential breakout guys ! Check this links : https://steemit.com/antshares/@cryptosphere/antshares-anatomy-of-a-cup-and-handle-chart-technical-analysis https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@maximdraws/bitcoin-broke-out-i-m-expecting-an-antshares-breakout
There are other posts on this subreddit explaining the process, but here's the jist of it:
Hope this helps
I also posted this as a root comment:
"All, If you experience issues with something within the NEO community of have an enhancement proposal, please express it on our feature request trello board so we are able to fix it.
You can also vote on enhancements you want and provide comments with additional details.

Just examine some coins historical data on https://coinmarketcap.com . Of course it doesn't mean that history will repeat itself, but it will be close unless something catastrophic happens. Like a global political crisis or something.
It goes up by 50% in a day. There will be profit-taking. The question is how far the dump is going to be.
Already in the Chinese exchanges, the price is lower than bittrex..
ETH not popular in China ?! You dont know what you are talking about: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets OKcoin= first exchange in volume in the world, aprox 13% total volume.
Well, you did write an article purposefully leaving out information to sway people into buying ANC rather than ANS. Why not just include more information and let the readers decide which to buy?
No I have not used bittrex on mobile device. only with my PC. I'm doing a bit more research sounds like even 2FA might not be the safest on Bittrex, someone lost 7BTC on Bittrex about 2 weeks ago. His post is on steemit. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@cryptoiskey/usd20-000-7btc-stolen-from-bittrex-captured-live-on-video-huge-lesson-learned
Seriously?

You got trolled buddy, or you're hoping this will get you some cheap shares.
For somebody to do what he was claiming they would have to have his device with the 2 factor auth setup on it. This should have been your first clue.
My pleasure! If you need any more info, check out this link: https://steemit.com/antshares/@frank77/antshares-paper-wallet-public-address-and-private-key
To create your wallet:
https://steemit.com/antshares/@frank77/antshares-paper-wallet-public-address-and-private-key
To buy ANS:
use Bittrex (or 19800)
You'll need to find a how-to guide for Bittrex as its interface isn't the most user-friendly.
This problem has already been solved with containers, such as Docker. Antshares will be using this technology of containers to solve the problem of different programming languages.
" Any App, Language, or Stack
Build, test, debug and deploy Linux and Windows Server container apps written in any programming language without risk of incompatibilities or version conflicts."

I've been working on this using a clean Ubuntu 16.04.02 server VM, and have some comments:
The version of .NET mentioned on the website is incorrect for Ubuntu 16.04. I ended up installing dotnet-dev-1.0.4 from Microsoft.
I then get an error running "nuget restore AntSharesCore.sln" of: Unable to find version '2.0.0-preview2-04' of package 'AntShares'
Is this a temporary problem; the code appears to have been updated about three days ago?
We designed a novel c++ framework for interesting with Bittrex crypto-currency exchange API. Check it out: https://github.com/vncoelho/optmarket-bittrex It was designed by a developer with expertise in the field of Optimization, also a developer of the OptFrame framework: https://sourceforge.net/projects/optframe/ We believe that high performance techniques, inspired by metaheuristics and mathematical programming tools, can be easily embedded inside it. I am sure it gonna be useful for your purpose! Best regards,

Ok. Here's what I did.
Make a Chrome Desktop Icon.
Right click on the icon and open up the Properties.
In the Target Action line type in this line after the " "
--args --ignore-certificate-errors
http://i.imgur.com/kZVKT3t.jpg
Then apply the changes and open up chrome.
Only open up the App.Antshares.
WARNING This is an unsecure browser because of the code implemented in the target action that allows you to bypass errors. It is only dangerous if you go to other website like bank accounts or gmail. DO NOT DO THIS.
If you have done everything correctly the ANS will begin to transfer and you will start to see the syncing bar increase a bit.
Mine went to 99.8% of sync. This is how you know it's working. The ANS is flowing into the wallet.
Then you wait till it fully syncs and WOILA!
Your ANS will be in the wallet to accumulate AntCoins.
Here's a link to the page that supplied me the answers.

Yes! Thank you! My point exactly about what is wrong with the current value, completely driven by day traders. If you want to buy ~~NEO~~ bread, do you care how much ~~Bitcoin~~ milk costs? Of course not. When Bitcoin crashed last weekend, did the actual value of NEO drop? Of course not.
> Do you understand how crypto market works
I understand how you and many others think the crypto market works.
> You dont trade ANS/USD, you trade ANS/BTC
Incorrect. I trade NEO/CNY like most people: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antshares/#markets
This is hilarious, if you're looking to make a quick buck get out now. This is a long term investment that will pay off in the end, panic sellers will be left behind.
ANS isn't the only thing to drop https://coinmarketcap.com/ the btc panic is affecting the whole crypto market.
Who knows, later down the road you may end up like this guy regretting your panic sells far more than your buys.
> Average or weighted average?
https://coinmarketcap.com/faq/ How are the prices calculated for various the cryptocurrencies? Price is calculated by taking the volume weighted average of all prices reported at each market. Sources for the prices can be found on the markets section on each cryptocurrency page. For example, Bitcoin's markets.
If you look at the link I sent you can see the current price for ANS in relation to whatever currency you like in whatever market it is being traded on. Here is the link again.. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antshares/#markets you can see that today there is more trading coming from bittrex than what was happening yesterday
nonsense.... first of all, the chinese own bitcoins too you know. If bittrex is the only place you can buy with btc, what does that say? take a look at the market https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/antshares/#markets
I did ANS(Neo)/BTC Technical Analysis : https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@online/which-way-will-ans-neo-go-ans-neo-btc-technical-analysis Which way will ANS/Neo Go? What do you think? Breakout can occur any moment!
https://steemit.com/antshares/@frank77/antshares-paper-wallet-public-address-and-private-key - Found this if it helps anyone else who had my same issue. You use the Address in the client rather than the public key like other crypto. Your address won't show up in the Blockchain explorer (antcha.in) until at least 1 transaction has been made in/out I think (also different from BTC/ETH etc)
It seems Binance will be very limited at the beginning https://www.binance.com/trade.html
If they do not propose GAS, I don't see why I would trade on Binance on the short term. I use Bittrex for NEO and they do the job pretty well so I trust them (for that I am ready to pay the fees they ask for). Binance has to build trust first or come with something special (GAS).
I can't vouch for the chat log or the 3.5 minutes, but the ICO is sold out, according to the Binance website.

So... people can't buy "that shitcoin" right now. I'm not sure there's a point in faking it.
I use Vearcrypt extensively for my crypto holdings. Veracrypt is a handy encryption tool that allows you to create encrypted file containers. I use separate file containers for each coin I hold and keep all of my keys, seeds, etc. in their respective containers. I then take those encrypted files and back them up multiple places.
In the case of ANS, I would suggest copying and pasting the the WIP and HEX key and putting them in a notepad file along with the db3 file. When you want to use your wallet, open the encrypted file container. It will appear as another drive on your machine. Then point the wallet software to that drive.
