If my kids (elementary schoolers) can accept contactless payment (including Apple Pay) for their lemonade stand (using $33 Square Reader for contactless and chip), Cole Haan can do the same.

I don't understand why they are going through the trouble to disable something shoppers like. The only reason that I can think of is not being able to track shoppers (Apple Pay credit card number is randomized).

This just made me scream internally as a CyberSec graduate.

There are card readers that you can buy as low as $16 that give you the full number of the card as if you were paying at a store. Don’t do this. At all. Even if it is cool. Follow /u/hat_like_dad’s advice.

Yeah Stripe's great, if they'll allow you to sell what you sell but a lot of services like Stripe won't touch all sorts of things (various industrial chemicals, pornography, often anything firearm related, virtual/in-game goods etc).

Slight sideways move but I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It holds 6 cards and has a seventh pocket for bills or cards.

I have a tumi wallet not as extravagant as yours but I won’t have to fuss over it too much if lost. I keep my Apple Card and other cards I use in there. Maybe like 6 credit cards. Id passport card etc

Agreed. I don’t mind it though. Fits just fine in my front pockets. Many slim wallets have that lip. Makes grabbing cards from side pockets easier I guess.

Here is an example of a wallet without the lip. Note that you may lose a couple pockets compared to the others. I want lots of pockets.
