Holds up to 16” laptops and is made very well with high quality aluminum.
The stand lets the laptop vent very well, as all the bottom vents aren’t covered by the stand. I’ve seen very good thermal improvements.
I'm going to try another cable, although the cable I bought on Amazon has very good reviews and is certified by vesa, even many users use it for games, it's very strange because display port 1.2 can easily support 1440p @144hz but it only allows me 120hz.... this is the cable: https://www.amazon.com/USB-DisplayPort-Maxonar-certificado-Adaptador/dp/B08B3XNZGS/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=2Z86PF9JDVZQ1&keywords=Cable+c+USB+3.1+Type+C+USB-C+to+DisplayPort+laptop+gaming&qid=1667847291&sprefix=cable+c+usb+3.1+type+c+usb-c...
I'm wondering exactly the same.

Would it be necessary? Or could I use those cooper sheets? Like these ones: https://www.amazon.com/Heatsink-Copper-Copper%EF%BC%8C-Silicone-Thermal/dp/B07QNRP9HK
i got the same laptop and I have used the DP with a Samsung display, the display port is bonded with the c type port
I have purchased a cable from amazon (https://www.amazon.in/ZORBES%C2%AE-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B09NM345JK/ref=asc_df_B09NM345JK/?tag=googleshopdes-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=397010422453&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13968201971549173126&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9302810&hvtargid=pla-1733232150905&psc=1&ext_vrnc=hi) I purchased this and have an external Samsung display
If starts to happen after an hour of playing, is very clear thermal throttling.
The game is demanding too much power that your laptop can't cold down (not because you have a Ryzen 9 and RTX 3060 means your laptop will perform as a desktop Ryzen 9 with RTX 3060).
Some easy things that can help you with temps:
-LIMIT your FPS to 60. You don't need to go higher than 60 FPS in games like God Of War. This is not Warzone, Fornite, Valorant or Overwatch, you don't need to go higher than 60FPS here.
-Make sure V-Sync is off. That laptop has freesync, so you will never need V-sync on.
-God of War has DLSS, make us of it. Try DLSS performance mode instead of quality mode.
-Rise your laptop. These stands are extremely cheap and are a must for gaming laptops.
This cooling pad is far the most effective one I have ever used in my life.
The foam seals the base of the laptop, and forces the air go through the air vents.
It reduces around 10-15 C in my case.

oh. go for the faster of the 2. it supports BOTH sata and NVME.
so buy a m.2 NVME. it may not advertise it but it will say like x2 or x4...buy an x4. its referring to number PCI-E lanes.
SATA m.2s are a thing..but NVME is noteably faster. Aight? The Samsung 980/970PRO is kinda sexy. Check this out. Shit goes like BWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAh. nah but really. 3300MB/s read/write (sequential)
its cacheless, but samsung did such a good job you won't notice. the 970pro has on-die cache, so. it's about $20 more expensive. same speed.

This is the one I bought because it had the highest reviews and a coupon to clip. I haven't installed it yet though.
Yes I picked up a USB-C to Displayport adapter off Amazon. I got this one: Cable Matters USB-C to Displayport adapter
>FX506LH
can i use a direct USB C to Displayport like this one?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J6DT070/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=A1AMUYYA3CT6HJ&th=1
if not, which displayport cable are you using with the adapter?
I have a TUF15 FX506LH and use a USB-C to Displayport adapter to connect to a Gigabyte Ultrawide monitor. Cable Matters USB-C to Displayport
This is definitely not the 2022 model of ASUS TUF, I think this is 2021 model.
Not only that, you can get a better deal with better specs with this laptop:
https://www.amazon.in/MSI-Katana-GF66-i5-11400H-11UD-876IN/dp/B09WN4SRWV/
ASUS Rog flow x13 It’s good for productivity, really light, touchscreen, has a pen and can fold 360 degrees
It’s also got a 3050ti and a 5900hs https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-GV301QEZ-Touchscreen-9-5900HS-360-Degree/dp/B095YQYJ42?th=1&psc=1
I have the 2021 F15, got it about 3 months ago. I already had the issue multiple times of the wifi nic card disappearing randomly and doesn’t even show in system hardware. I did not find a specific fix but a combo of reboots/ periods of being powered off would finally make the wifi nic card re appear. I ordered the intel AX210 wifi nic card for 30.00 on amazon and that fixed the problem.
The second thing I did was upgrade the ram to 2 16GB sticks of crucial ram. The 32GB of ram is a huge improvement over the factory 8GB and was only 128.00
Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Laptop Memory CT16G4SFRA32A https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C511GQH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8JKPW2XZMXEC1WB4NASC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

This kind of stand ? https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07RQ89Y8G/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_dl_DJW3PC60JSJEXKNYG4JJ
Or more of a open stand like this one ?
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0861Z9GV2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_4VS23D56FW303ZYJXVY3
This is the card I purchased from amazon, I was mistaken on price earlier it was even cheaper at 31.49 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09P1B55JQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Before replacing it I downloaded and installed the driver for the AN210 card. Then you just remove the screws holding the bottom cover, Then disconnect your battery. Then with the battery compartment down towards you on the left hand side you will see your hard driver stick (looks like a RAM card) remove the SSD stick and under that you will see the Wi-Fi card and 2 wires going to it ( one black one white) gently pull up on the wires to unclip them from the Wi-Fi card. Remove the screws holding the card in, remove card, install new card in reverse order, re connect wires, re connect hard drive, re connect battery , install bottom cover and screws. Start up computer and your laptop should pickup your Wi-Fi and connect without any issues or further input needed and all your saved network info will remain the same as that's stored by the computer and not the Wi-Fi card.
I would gladly walk you through it via WhatsApp when you go to do the install if you'd like. Its a really easy install and as long as you don't go prying things apart or yanking wires the chances of damaging your laptop are slim to none.
The notebooks since 2021 almost exclusively come with additional M.2 slot.
If you have "spare sata SSD" you can buy an external box like this(but different for SSD) and put the SSD inside to use it as external SSD for data so that you don't have to obsolete it into the drawer :-P
I would get it now. On Amazon 8gb ram is only $35. And it is worth the significant amount of performance you will gain outside, and inside games due to it activating dual channeling. I was honestly blown away at how much performance I gained on mine with a simple upgrade. Not to mention, they made it easy to open the laptop to add parts. There is also an SSD slot if you ever want to do that as well.
"An onboard controller brings the 135mm fan to a standstill when thermal design power (TDP) is below 30%, letting you enjoy light gaming in relative silence. Above 30% TDP, the fans automatically start up again."
Yes, this is normal, this was taken from the Amazon add for your PSU: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Axial-tech-Technology-Certification-Connector/dp/B08MV7FBPS
Thanks for the comment btw, it reminded me to upgrade the module. I researched a bit again and finally ordered 2x32GB module from Amazon : Kingston Fury Impact 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL20 Laptop Memory Kit with 2 KF432S20IBK2/64 https://www.amazon.de/dp/B097QK6M3W/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_12FR8SSTRV6H4AC0D2DD
I read it in some forum that this module works and is best we can buy. I'll update if it worked.
i use this adaptor and it’s fine

I tried installing Snappy Driver Installer and downloaded the related updates. After a restart, I can now see that the dts x ultra app is now working, finally! you can download and try if it works on your device. Just create a restore point if issues come up.
This laptop seems kind of picky as to the memory it supports. Here is what I bought - it works perfectly on my F15:
Thanks to u/archertedd for the link.
This is the one I'm using :)
Good things which you have done with the cooling pad, I'm thinking of changing the thermal paste after few months and use liquid metal on it, I'll update on the same, Though I'm not much of a gamer, all the tasks i do pretty much works loike a breeze...
I remember the extra ram stick that came with the laptop was a sodimm ddr4 Kingston 8GB 3200mhz, but I did not research which specifically Ram model was.
Probably is this one https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-KVR32S22S8-ValueRAM-DDR4-PC4-25600/dp/B07ZVHG9ZP/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ddr4+8gb+3200+sodimm+kingston&qid=1630970804&sr=8-3

I haven’t seen a plus 2 TB HDD in a 2.5 inch form factor, if you’re looking for high capacities, you should go with an SSD. They’re very expensive at high capacities tho. They’ll cost as much as a laptop. Take a look: https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-870-QVO-SATA-MZ-77Q8T0B/dp/B089C3TZL9/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=8tb&qid=1621926999&s=pc&sr=1-3&th=1&psc=1
You can always use an external HDD, the ones that support USB 3 (Usb C) have high transfer speeds good enough for gaming. Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Desktop-External-Hard-Drive/dp/B08XKKFDVN/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=8tb%2Bexternal%2Bhard%2Bdrive&qid=1621927222&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
I do, I got a Samsung 860 Evo: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078WST5RK
There's a spare 2.5" drive bay in the laptop, so I use this for games and stuff as a D:\ drive.
I believe there are newer models out now, but it's fast enough!
Get a usb to hdmi adapter. That might work for you. Here is a popular one on Amazon:
Limited-time deal: DisplayPort to HDMI, Benfei Gold-Plated DP Display Port to HDMI Adapter (Male to Female) Compatible for Lenovo Dell HP and Other Brand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017Q8ZVWK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9N8J1S0TQCG4C9MJDEC0
Wait wtf? Why is that happening? And are you sure about that bud? I had an Asus FX505LI, I tried to add the same stick to it, it had the same specs, just 1650Ti instead, and it never booted up again.
This is what I have on CPU-Z. Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Basically this would be better? Corsair Vengeance SODIMM 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL22 Memory, Unbuffered for 8th Generation or newer Intel Core™ i7, and AMD Ryzen 4000 Series notebooks - Black: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
Mine can't do 3200, but 2933 ought to be fine. Last time I had a FX506LI (i5-10300H, 1650Ti) tried upgrading it with https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BGLLS1W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_7EQPQFC7E948BC1DTA4B?psc=1 but it ended up never booting up again, I guess it's because it took me a few tries to put the stick in and I hadn't disconnected the battery.
I'm going to try to add this same stick to the one that came with the laptop, that way I'll get 16 gigs.
You are probably running it under your igpu
You can easily change this in the graphics settings of windows by typing "graphic settings" in your windows search then selecting desktop apps and choosing the application's exe.
Also like u/aarons6 has said dual channel will give you much better stability in games and greater performance for your AMD cpu. I upgraded to 16gb dual channel and the performance difference for me has been pretty great.

can you plz send me the link? or just reply with whatever you know about it edit: is it this? or is there cheaper available.?
something like this could work. I don't have experience with it, but from what I've heard it works, so theoretically, you plug one monitor into the hdmi port and the other one into the usb-hdmi dongle. Also there are more expensive dongles that support higher resolutions if you need more than 1080p.
