Had my first ultrasound yesterday and everything looks good!!! I'm SOOO happy!!!! It was really incredible to be able to see the baby -- there's actually someone in there, and they love wiggling around! Now I'm just obsessed with watching and rewatching the short video they let me record.
We're waiting to announce until we get the NIPT results back, but we did buy this bandana for our cat to use in our announcement photo! :)
I haven’t done research on any specific products, but I know that in general, any device that moves the seatbelt like that is considered less safe than just wearing the belt across your lap. The best thing to do is just wear the belt snug and low, under the bump. Maybe add one of those basic velcro cushions like this.
Again, I’m not an expert, but I am a little obsessed with car safety. I was in an accident a few years ago where the car landed upside down and I was suspended from my seatbelt. If I had a device like that one, I’m worried I would have broken my legs since it puts the pressure over the thighs rather than the hips.
I got a gift card to Motherhood Maternity with my first pregnancy. And honestly? I never want to spend another dime there. Their quality is terrible and their customer service is even worse. The shirts I got didn't even last my previous pregnancy, and all are either falling apart at the seams or weirdly stretched out. And we air-dry all our shirts, so it's not a dryer issue.
But on the bright side, I want to own these pants in every single color because they are SO SOFT AND COMFY. I have black and green... so far.
Was worried I didn’t have much nausea at 6w. It was intermittent but I generally felt wayyyy better than last pregnancy (hyperemesis). Lol jk. Jokes on me at 6+5 I remember why I hate being pregnant so much.
Pro tip: just buy these now. Keep them in your car, by your bed, in your purse, by the couch, and even by the toilet for those extra cute times you have to pee and puke at the same time. You won’t regret it.
i was a 36G before pregnancy, and have been living in the Hofish XL nursing bras and tank tops from amazon since 13w (now 16.5w) i sleep in them too. they aren't sexy but they have eased a lot of my intense boob pain. 3 for $30, which seemed reasonable to me! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HLPKG4N/
Yes!!! It’s so much better even just for a normal body. This is what I got: it’s a u so it does take up space, but each side is pretty narrow so not more space in total than a body pillow or king pillow. I like that it soft Jersey fabric is cooling- cause I get hot when I sleep, but not with this!
Also, for those asking why not just multiple pillows instead, It is soooo much easier to switch sides and move around without reannging three pillows. And so I can roll or adjust without waking me husband (or me as much). It keeps the pillows in nice placement related to one another instead of my knee pillow falling off the bed while I adjust a head pillow. Trust me, so much better arrangement.

I’m one of those lucky ladies that already has been experiencing lower back pain / soreness. Working 10-14hrs at a desk and history of bad hips due to martial arts doesn’t help. I felt a bit silly buying a pillow this early but I got an Amazon gift card and decided to treat myself. Oh my god instant relief.
If anyone is interested this is the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MZ9WYDQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S70WPDYY423Q5KCPDPXG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
🤦🏻♀️ **DEBATING not depending 😳
If anyone is struggling with constipation and can stomach smoothies - I ordered this psyllium husk powder and put about 1.5 tsp in my smoothie in the morning and it helps keep my regular! I didn't go for 3 days and drank it this morning and went within 2 hours!
I just put this in the other thread but I just bought this off Amazon and I love it! Its really nice quality. It’s going to be perfect for an outdoor get together once the bump takes off. I got the short sleeves :)

we got this one with the chevron pattern. I really like it so far. I've actually been using it to read every night, while the wife takes some time alone to sprawl out in bed before me and the dog crowd her.
infantino 4in1 is what I used for 3 kids, still have it for this next baby. Still in good condition. Haven't had any issues or negatives for me. I'm not fond of the bib thing and took it off, that's about it. Will say I really only used it until they could walk. For something beyond that I can't say whether I'd still use it or what to recommend if another brand. When they get a bit heavier it can hurt your back to have it on too long which is a big reason I never used it past the walking stage. But also when we hike it's never anywhere non-kid friendly where we'd need a carrier.
There are the fabric wraps you wrap around yourself but I found this kind easier to deal with and for my husband to use. We are both slender but he's much taller and there's no issue with readjusting the straps when we would switch using it. My current baby used to take naps in it when I couldn't get her to sleep any other way. The other parent friends we have I saw the mom had the same one so I thought that was cool lol.
Double posting. Sorry. One thing I really liked were these changing pad liners. I used them under the bassinet sheet as a mattress protector. Because these ones are so thin I wasn't worried about them adding bulk and making it unsafe. It was really helpful when she would spit up while sleeping and I didn't have to worry about the mattress being wet. And could just change the sheet and swap out the liner.
I do! Still can at 14+3. I think with my last pregnancy it wasn't too far from now it stopped being possible.
This pillow helped me a TON! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013RV0JGI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Currently digging these HARD right now. The price is great. They are a little thin but I would not say see through. No compression but form fitting:

This is it! The cold feels great, but even once it goes room temp, the pressure alone is really soothing. If I pull it down to just above my eyes, two of the sections sit right on my temples and it feels amazing. I wish I could sleep in it but I’m paranoid about the weight of my head busting one of the sections open! I used to put frozen peas on my head too and this is SO MUCH better.
Store it in Tupperware, though - it’ll smell like your fridge if you don’t!
Mines only gonna be 2, so I’m worried he will need a place to sit- so I’m thinking we will need something like this but if anyone has any suggestions, I’m totally up to hear them! By the time the new guy is big enough to sit in the front, I think maybe my oldest will be ok with riding on the back? Idk tho

I’m Canadian so I ordered from amazon Canada, but I’m sure if your in the US they should have it or one similar
Last week I asked about the boppy side sleeper pillow. Bought it, LOVE it! So comfy, definitely recommend if you want some front and back support without a whole huge bulky pillow.
I am obsessed with these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZQ5VYN7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My previous underwear was irritating my c-section scar as well. If you're in need of a recommendation, I got the underwear in the link below, and they are so comfy. I was initially worried that the low seam would lay on the scar, but it actually lays below the scar. I love that they're cotton too, unlike other over the bump undies. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0812947V6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Gu5.FbFETKV35
I’ve been feeling similarly! I really I feel so much better without alcohol. I doubt I’ll give it up completely forever, but I’m almost surprised by how much I don’t miss it and don’t crave it. I think I more enjoyed ‘having a drink’ rather than the actual alcohol, if that makes sense.
My husband got me this book for Christmas: Drinking for Two: Nutritious Mocktails for the Mom-To-Be (BLUE STAR PRESS) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1944515828/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_ttE9FbRM28BTV
These drinks have definitely satisfied the “I want something other than water” craving and are pretty tasty! Plus, the ingredients are meant to alleviate some common pregnancy symptoms. My husband and I have had a lot of fun making them and will likely continue to have these well after the baby is born.
I recommend 9 Months: The Essential Australian Guide to Pregnancy for any Australians here (and probably kiwis, as our health care systems are very similar except for the limited private health care in NZ, but that’s not a big focus in this book).
We have this and it's amazing!

I don’t know exactly what brand I have (it was a gift!) But this one looks really similar. Having some pillow to support the belly and back made a world of difference.
Just my $0.02... but...
I would refrain from buying a big pack of bottles until you know that your LO likes. They come out with their own opinions, and definitely have bottle preferences from day one.
You won't want to open a big pack of bottles only to have her hate them, and then be unable to return. I'd start with one or two of different brands, and then when you have a favorite, buy all the bottles. We found 6 of each size to be the right amount for us.
Our favorite bottles (we tried 4 kinds): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FQ2SSX4/
Bottles designed and engineered by Satan himself to make child angry, cause excessive gas, and leak milk all over the effing place: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075GWYLV3/
If you don’t mind it being huge, I love the pharmedoc c shaped maternity pillow. I prefer it to u shaped because you still get support everywhere you need it, but it’s easier to get out of at night. You can get it for about 50 dollars in the us and it is very worth it.
My first will be 4 when the new guy gets here. I’m going to get a joovy caboose because it’ll let her sit or stand when need be. But I’ll probably only bring it out for trips to the zoo or arboretum or something and keep the gluxe single I got with the firstborn. Also I’m expecting to rely more on carriers this time. I’ve got an ergo (didn’t like) and a Tula (fine). Gonna try this one I think.
16w and I give up trying to find a comfy sleep position with my body pillow. I’m a back sleeper but trying to adjust to sleeping on my side. So I just ordered this pregnancy pillow. I hope it’s worth the hype!!!
I’m close to the same size as you and I just live in these.

I have a couple of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072HJ7K61/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_rNq9tHA8VOfFF
They are sized s-xxl, but the size chart seems to be pretty accurate for which sizes correlate to which band/cup sizes. They also have a normal bra band with 4 rows of hooks, which is actually the thing that I like the most and made me buy a second one. It definitely helped to make sure the fit worked well.
My SO just bought me these ones off of Amazon for Valentines day. The reviews looked pretty good and they look like they will work for after the babies are here as well which is nice. I haven't gotten them in the mail yet so I can't speak to the quality yet.
I swear I had a combo sinus/tension headaches for weeks straight last time. I got a microwaveable neck wrap thing (not this exact one, but close and it helped.
I got paranoid about this before I realized it was genetic and got this: https://smile.amazon.com/Stretch-Marks-Scar-Cream-Moisturizer/dp/B00OTZ28DE/ref=mp_s_a_1_4
Body Merry’s Stretch Marks and Scars. It’s thick and cool, and I’ve been using it on existing scars with great results. But fair warning - it smells. No perfumes or anything, just definitely a natural smell.
Spaulding makes killer high waisted leggings, and I’m thinking they will work all the way to August. (But they are a little thicker, so I’ll have to get some capris).
I’ve been wearing them since last fall after my son was born, so no experience with them as maternity.
I forgot, we also have the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy and there's a short chapter in there for dads/partners that I thought was pretty good. It's brief, but clinical and straight forward in addressing most of the big things. Really, the whole book is great for both partners, and we've enjoyed looking at the weekly development pages and pictures together.
I highly recommend you check out this book. It has the most information I've seen anywhere about twin pregnancy, with really detailed guidelines for nutrition. It was sent to me by my nurse case manager. The only thing I'm questioning is the fact that it says I need an extra 1300 calories a day. I think it is probably dependent on your metabolism. But the weight gain targets to hit by certain weeks is something I hadn't read before. We are gonna get huge! when You're Expecting Twins...
You should absolutely try it. I got a bottle at my local equivalent of Whole Foods but the pills are 100mg and I was told to take 25mg three times a day (on really bad days I take an extra 25mg). However, I just ordered a Ginger-B6 (Karuna - Ginger-B6 120 caps [Health and Beauty] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VYVOUA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_sZl-Fb382V01Q) so I don’t have to chop the pills anymore. As always, ask a nurse or a doctor before self prescribing. Best of luck!!!!
I am not eating as much meat and I ordered some prenatal protein powder. I'm planning to blend it into smoothies with frozen fruit and almond milk. Can't speak to the taste yet since it's arriving tomorrow. baby booster prenatal shake
I’ve been drinking Protein2O. It’s basically protein water in various flavors. My fav is the mixed berry. 15g protein per bottle and only artificial sugar. We have them delivered every few weeks by Amazon but I’ve seen them at the grocery store as well.
Protein2o Low Calorie Protein Infused Water, 15g Whey Protein Isolate, Mixed Berry (Pack of 12) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01GQ5H870/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_bHI8Fb7SBCMNR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’m the same way! I got a couple pairs of these leggings and they’ve been really comfortable. And they have pockets! Has a lot of fabric to grow with your belly but it’s not tight at all.
I love these I’m sure there are smaller sizes, but as a stalker, I know I appreciate seeing larger sizes listed too.
I’ve heard that these from Amazon are good, but I haven’t tried them myself. I have a friend who has, and she says they’re comfy, but she hasn’t personally tried Aligns.
Ahahah truly i have zero idea. I did join this discord which has been really great and supportive so far - people expecting multiples in summer 2021
I also heard good things about this book but I haven’t bought or read it yet
