For the record, there are people in the SBC that are calling out the "autonomy" defense for being bogus.

If you're interested, here is a podcast episode called The SBC and Sexual Abuse by Doctrine & Devotion, which is done by Reformed Baptist SBC members. They really dig into the hypocrisy going on in regards to what the SBC will and will not intervene in.
