Ash streams CBL on his dlive, and that league is open to most anyone. He puts the rules for qualifying in chat when he's streaming.
Brawl MSTRS is a newer league (first qualifiers were just this past weekend), and spots for the qualifiers might still be open.
Obviously the 15 win challenge and the tournament after to reach monthly finals is the most competitive but easily accessible way, but that won't be back until like January.
The other guy posted two videos by BobbyBS, who is widely regarded as one of the best pros (top 5 imo) in North America. Though they're a bit old (like 6 months iirc), all of the tips still apply, especially twitter and discord.
I'm gonna warn you though... true competitive brawl is a completely different level from any type of ladder. The players there are extremely good at the game, much better than nearly anyone you will encounter on ladder. There is a reason that they make money playing the game when 99.99% of the player base doesn't. Also, all of these are provided that you have a team. If you don't, then try to find one.
Hmm ok. I'd imagine we're on the same page here, but just to clarify in case, this is what I think of when I mean silky. These are probably better, but, as you can see, more expensive for each pair.
I use these. They are inexpensive and come in bulk packs. They are reusable but not washable. I would assume maybe the top brands like razer are but I use these and they work super well.
This style also works, and skips the mini suction cups.
Every screen recorder I've used has had issues but the one I've had the least was with this one

I'm pretty sure TunnelBear has an server in Australia and New Zealand, but limited use for free
But I don't see why the mm thing wouldn't work for EU, also, the time of day that you play makes a difference as well
