My CZ family getting ready to spend the day gettin a little dirty. CZ 75 SP-01, CZ 75B Omega, CZ 75B. CZ 75D PCR, CZ P07. The case is the Amazon
5 Pistol 18 Magazine Doro Waterproof Heavy Duty Gun Case with Custom Mycasebuilder Foam Insert
which I like much better than the Harbor Freight case I picked up with the pluck & pull foam. Plenty of room for 5 full size pistols and 18 magazines, 23 with one in each pistol. The precut closed cell foam is much better than the HF pluck & pull and even Pelican.
I also have this one and I use two of these M1x11 Viton O-Ring, 75A Shore... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005RUP2A6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They are high temp resistant and work well while staying hidden in the recess of the thread protector.
There are tons, and I mean tons, of fake gunstores online lately.
The number 1 giveaway is only accepting Zelle and/or Bitcoin. I even came across one once that accepted PayPal "friends and family" and had a couple email addresses to use. Hah, yeah buddy, good luck.
I always google around before buying and if I'm still unsure, use a credit card with purchase protection or Privacy.com if you need to use a debit card.
I got the snake scale in “coyote” color, they’re grippy enough for me. Snake Scale Grips. They’re good enough for my needs and at $30, less than half of LOK grips.
Shoot man, I bought so many roll punch sets on Amazon before finding some that didn’t immediately break when pounding out CZ’s stupid tight pins. Here’s a link to the ones I got that haven’t broke yet. USA-made.
Grace USA RS-7 - Steel Roll... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007WADKN0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
For the sight pusher I went with the more expensive Wheeler Engineering one on Amazon. Obviously works great and bomb-proof. But heard decent (conflicting) things about the much cheaper NcStar too.
Thanks man! They were from a Thai store on Amazon honestly (NEW WOODEN GRIPS OF CZ 75/85 COMPACT SIZE (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N7STJNF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_giFWCbW98MZ90). Took about a month to arrive, but solid work and worth the wait for something a little different.
Cool Hand carbon fiber. I was trying to decide between some more LOK grips like I had on my PCR or some of the aluminum grips and ran across those on Amazon. I’m a sucker for carbon fiber so I had to pick them up and try them out. They ended up working a lot better than I expected.
These believe it or not. I tried hogue first and they had a tiny gap at the top I didn’t like. Gave these totally anonymous Amazon ones a try and they are a great fit for $50 or so.
You can get one of these on Amazon in the mid 50's (check for open box, very good or like new). I've had mine for about two years and it works great for the hobbyist.
That said... having been messing around with one of these for a while now (maybe a dozen or so sight jobs) it's honestly just as easy, just as fast, and significantly cheaper to stick your slide in a vice and use a non-marring punch. A 3" piece of 3/8" delrin rod is the perfect tool for this job. Wrap a belt around your slide before clamping down so you don't jack up the finish. I know you told the other guy off who mentioned this as well but it's sincerely worth considering... a $2 stick of delrin gets the job done just as well as a $140 sight pusher.
I’ve got These on my CZ. Like them a lot.
They’re very comfortable but still have a really good grip. They look great and they’re inexpensive. The pic here is olive drab, but they come in all sorts of colors. Mine are black/gray and they look great.
I switched out the provided belt attachment for some pancake wings. As heavy as the gun is, this holster surprisingly provides the best concealment and retention for $25! I was pleasantly surprised.
CGW will tell you that they moved away from solid firing pin retaining pins and went with a spring steel one in order to cushion the impact of the firing pin against it and prevent damage to the firing pin. That applies more to dry fire than live fire, unless you are dry firing with a snap cap or o-ring. The idea is that the retaining pin is the cheap sacrificial part that will be replaced periodically while your firing pin will hopefully last much longer.
Personally I run the CGW retaining pins and find them to work perfectly well and not get gouged and deformed like the factory retaining pins. You can also buy a box of very similar pins off of Amazon for dirt cheap and probably have enough retaining pins for your life for less than 10 bucks:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L1IS9EY
I ordered a box of these but haven't had an opportunity to test them under live fire yet.
Anyway hopefully that answered your question a little better.
You get what you pay for, most of the time. These things will never get you to zero, but 12" off at 25 yards is pretty bad. They should get you within a couple inches. I think if you get closer to $40 you can get a bit better tool, if it's something you'll need to use with any regularity.
I use a g-sight laser training cartridge for dry fire that actually works pretty well for this purpose.
I also have this thing and it's shockingly good for a cheap piece of shit (I paid $25, looks like the price has gone up). It'll get me within about 2" at 25y on a rifle or pistol.
There’s another system that runs a strap under the steering column around the lower dash panel. No velcro, no screws, no worries on getting charged extra on the lease for “damages”
The one linked above has multiple mounting options
What's the application? Carry? Home defense? I like Dawson FO on my range guns. I use these on my P-01. They're a little busy compared to all black back/FO front sights or exclusively night sights, but I like the sight picture. CGW sells a custom set of low-profile Dawson FO sights you might like.
If you can, find an LGS with a good variety you can look down before you drop money on a set.
I got the pachmayr's in green/black for $37 on amazon. They make a grey/black verision that looks kind of white. For half the price of VZ's, I am happy with mine.
They are from "Cool Hand" and the ones on my CZ are the "snake scale texture" cut in grey and black. Here's a link to the exact Amazon page with the loading that says they include the screws.

I purchased a 75-B earlier this year, love it, absolutely hated the factory sights. I could not acquire them quickly at all. I upgraded to these (along with wood grips) and it's great.

They were cheap around 44 bucks when i bought them off amazon, but it looks like on this link and their website they dont have black grips anymore. Cool Hand G10 Grips Compatible... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MDJ13TB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share If thst doesnt work for you, Lok grips make really well made grips but they are pricier than these cool hand ones.
They are actually grey, but come in a few other colors. Here ya go!
After wasting a lot of money, my favorite kind are the soft magazine holsters that you can buy on Amazon, like these for example
Aluminum Black on the holosun will turn that silver aluminum pretty dark. I've used it on logo, SN, and the arrows by the dials. Just dab it with a q-tip.
https://www.amazon.com/TRUGLO-Tritium-Handgun-Sights-Pistols/dp/B08JRNP7PJ I’ve been looking at these because they are similar to my ameriglo Spartans on my Glock. Anyone have any experience with them?
I had to take a dremel to the end of a holster made for the P10C to open it up for the extra length and also cut it to make room for an optic. Works great.

No, but I use this HI-Vis on all my shotguns. https://www.amazon.com/HIVIZ-Competition-Fiber-Optic-Sight/dp/B0002INN4A It comes with different screws to fit nearly any shotgun.
Very similar, this is made by MyCaseBuilder you can find it on Amazon. They offer different foam color inserts too.

Yeah, The range bag is pretty neat and I'm very impressed with it so far. Here's the amazon link if you're interested.

I use a Remora soft holster for my riding suit when I'm on my motorcycle. I also have a JM4 leather magnetic holster for IWB. However, I find myself using my Amazon-bought M-Tac shoulder sling bag more often than not, with a Velcro holster. Fits all of my handguns plus 2 mags, and I've been able to use Velcro tape and magnets to allow activation of my Viridian X5L light/laser/cam, as well as the R5 laser on my little Springfield XDS Mod 2. I do need to have my buddy sew some sort of strap for my left leg so I can fully stabilize the bag on my person.

I bought a rear sight pusher tool. It's a NCStar, but it's worked great for me on many guns.
Lunch bag is where it's at. Anything like this would work.
Just put the CGW Pro package into my PCR. Anybody got recommendations for night sights? I'm looking at the Dawson Precision and the TRUGLOW TFX with the fiber optic and tritium.
I'm also wanting a stainless guide rod to match. Any problems with an aluminum frame and a steel rod?
https://web.archive.org/web/20140101000000*/http://www.ruger.com/products/sr1911/models.html
You're right about that, first recorded MSRP was 799.99 which eventually went up to 829.99 and has gone up to 859.99 sometime since September 2014.
Usually having the right tool makes the job easier.
I use this one, but there are cheaper models that probably work as well and a knock off. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Handgun-Pusher-springfield-others/dp/B016R4DXJW/
I picked up this one off Amazon and have used it on about a dozen different handguns to swap sights.
I'm scrawny and it stands out everywhere I put it. Best methods of concealing for me are my iwb holster from alien gear and this guy:
M-Tac Tactical Bag Shoulder Chest Pack with Sling for Concealed Carry of Handgun https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0794M8W1V/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_XSTR6KD4RVP3Z6FHR9NE
Ive had dozens of people comment on my "man purse" but never once has anyone asked if I was carrying. Goes everywhere and doesn't pull down my pants.
I just bought the Hornady Lock-N-Load Cartridge Gauge from Amazon (Here).Delivers today before I get home from work, will update my findings then. Thanks
Yeah I see CGW has the set for $120, but not direct from Dawson for whatever reason. Weird. I'm looking at these too since they are $45 less but comes with an option of an orange painted ring around the front of the tritium vial, so for all intents and purposes the rear would be blacked out during the day and just see a bright orange front sight. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9V1Q46/
These are a top contender right now since it has an option for a bright orange ring around the front sight, feel like that would give me good day time shooting experience as well as at night with the tritium, and for all intents and purposes the rear would be blacked out during the day https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9V1Q46/
Hey! Thanks! Appreciate the feedback on my Youtube channel. If you’re in Canada https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B003ELIO0A/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_AWDXW6YQXB8581QEK7FN

Like these: CLP Wipes
these are what I used. The armorer block helps more than you think and use the brass hammer head with the roll pin otherwise you will just destroy the plastic head.
Another option is jet some fine grit sand paper and just sand the back strap a little bit. Not too much, just enough to knock down the points. I did it on mine and it feels much better, I couldn't even shoot 100 rounds without my hands hurting before but not the texture doesn't bother me at all. There is also Talon Grips which are grip tape made to the exact shape of the gun.
Thanks for the reply.
I've tried a bunch of different combinations of screw tightness, nothing works. I've contacted Comp-Tac, so we'll see what they say.
This model has an aluminum frame, so I ordered some Aluminum Black Touch-Up this morning.
Just get yourself some snap caps. They’re only like ten dollars. Holy fuck, some of y’all are cheap or lazy as hell.
Amazon sells the A-zoom brand (which are the best). Save yourself an earful of hate and save your gun by just buying the fucking things. You can use them to train around misfires/jams as well.
oh right... so there's 2 options for the sights area.... here's something most don't realize... when you heat up the kydex... like REALLY heat it up around there... it cuts like butter with just normal scissors..... (do it pretty quick cause it heats up and hardens in about 20 seconds... but don't rush and cut fingers haha... just reheat and cut.... ). if you got a dremel it's easy to then clean it up. or use sandpaper.... it REALLY just cuts like paper .... i'd say do the cutting part first... but you can do it either way. it won't be the prettiest... but it'll work just fine.
the other option... even easier... but uglier.... depending on how must the sights in the way... heat it up... then like pinching with the trigger I mentioned... physically just push the kydex out of the way..... I know... ugly... but it'll work. just make sure you using the gloves... otherwise some serious burns.
I used gloves like this. I can literally hand hold the kydex and have the heat gun blowing ONTO my hands.
Oh yea same, no hate, all-metal guns just feel more natural. Might end up getting a Glock just for SHTF situations but for now I'm perfectly content without one. Here is the link to the sight pusher in case you're curious, better than the cheaper Chinese-made ones if you ask me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016R4DXJW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details . Good luck!
I’ve got both, but only after realizing I’d didn’t want to AIWB carry the P-07. I love CZs and the P-07 trigger is a delight. Paired with the large adjustable back straps it fit my XL hands just right. But I hated carrying it. It was way too big for my build (slight gut).
The P365XL just can’t be beat for the number of rounds to the size. I found the handle too small but added a hogue grip cover and Tactical Development baseplate extension on the 12 round game me a good grip with minimal printing. Love that’s it’s ready to rock a red dot sight. The trigger was a little crunchy compared to CZ, but it shoots just fine. Again, size and round count win out for me for CCW. It’s not very snappy either so quick follow up shots. Aside from the trigger, I don’t like that you have to rack the slide for every fire with a laser dry fire trainer. But a BarrelBlok helped with that process.
Overall, they’re both great guns. But the P365XL was a clear CCW winner for me. Now I’m looking into something even smaller for pocket carry…

Canadian laws are shit, but I feel this particular aspect of them to be wholly underused.
After many conversations with the wifeu, she agreed on a gun rack in the bedroom. Apparently putting it over the TV in the livingroom or in the staircase wOuLd Be GaUdY.
This one in particular is made by Rusty Creek Creations. Assembly is easy and so is installation, the only thing lacking is build quality as it is just cheap particle board with a pattern slapped on top. Similarly, the 4 plaster plugs that are meant to be used if you are putting this in drywall and not studs are pretty anemic.
Overall I'm am thrilled and static to finally have a gun rack!
I use a pair of Warne medium rimfire rings on my CZ 457 Varmint. Paired with a Nikon ProStaff Rimfire II Rifle Scope. Seems to work well. Low enough but with enough clearance. You shouldn’t need the dovetail to pic rail with them.

This fluorescent paint set has a really good orange red, green, and chartreuse, all of which are popular high visibility sight colors:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006O5F4G/
Strip out the old sight paint, but down a good thick layer of a glossy white nail polish as a base, and let it dry completely. Then follow up with a coat of orange red, or chartreuse. You can end up with colors pretty close to the Trijicon HD color options https://www.trijicon.com/products/product-family/trijicon-hd-night-sights-for-cz-pistols
So I see some people saying that it's hard to drill through the mags. If I may make a suggestion...use a carbide or titanium nitride end mill. They are sharp as hell and cut like a hot knife through butter.
I would use this in a mill but a drill press would work just fine.

Is yours a safety model or decocking model? I did mine myself and I have a safety model which is apparently much easier. I didn’t think it was too bad but I would definitely want a small block to hit the pins through and a small hammer. Also check out the videos on CGW website. Only really tricky part was the sear (sp?) cage (never found a good view in a video for this). Have a clean workstation in case you drop a small part. Here’s a kit it utilized when I did mine. Oh last thing, polish the internals and take pictures of how things look before you take them apart.

Oooooo. It looks like they rubbed heavily on the grip as you installed them. Possibly, the hole in the grip did not line-up with the threaded hole in the gun. Make sure to align the grip hole before putting the screws back in. Funny thing, I just recieved Thin aluminum grips from CGW today for my P-01. The holes did not line-up at first. I had to tap on the back side of the grips with a screwdriver handle until the holes lined up. To answer your question, yes your screws could be sanded but the threads are not cool. I would buy new screws and sand them if needed. Amazon sells screws. Look for 3.5mm x .6mm x 6mm long screws. I just bought these because I did not like using a black screw on silver grips: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00137OJTC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I will have to sand them down but they will work.
You can get some cheap ones off amazon that will fit well. Check coolhand grips. They aren’t the highest quality or grippiest but they’re half the price of LOK. Perfect if you want to stipple or put grip tape on.

Brass or nylon punch and brass hammer should do it. From experience, you will scratch and or mark up the site and gun. It's a virtual given with hammer and punch. If you want to do it your self I suggest https://www.amazon.com/NcSTAR-VTUPRS-Universal-Pistol-Sight/dp/B01HU4NNDE/ which I have and it works. It's not industrial strength but all the CZ75's I've used it on, works flawlessly. Otherwise go to a smith, a local smith will only charge you $25-$50 bucks. For reference removal usually comes out to the left (when looking behind the gun like when aiming).
Ya, I'm probably not the best resource for that either. I carry appendix. I carry mine with an Olight PL mini Valkyrie. My FDO holster seems to do the trick but I've heard good things about Vedder holsters.

I’ll do you one better! Although it’s Chinese made.... gives me conflicting feelings about it now... but fantastic made product and ipx8 rated... I used to hip-holster my flashlight for work when I worked graveyards, got tired of it being in my way and digging into me when I drive. I went looking for a pen light. My requirements were waterproof, AA or AAA (I knew AA would yield me better battery life, and higher lumens), non-rechargeable (I prefer to swap and go), adjustable lumens- in stages, and adjustable focus. I searched for WEEKS!! Forums, EDC websites, mechanic forums, LEO pages, friends, reviews, manufacturer websites, k icky off brands... all of it. Couldn’t quite find what I was looking for. And then I came across one on Amazon... ThruNite Ti4 V2 LED Penlight Using 2 x AAA 4 Modes from Firefly to Turbo Max 252 Lumens Flashlight Cool White- CW https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WWOZN5E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_riCPEbMYVTHT1
The “ThruNite Ti4”. Aluminum body, 2AAA, multi-mode lumen, ipx8 water resistant up to 2 meters, the beam is centralized in the center but offers a good flood (non adjustable but perfect projection), small sleek and actually fits in a shirt pen pocket, and very light. I was so impressed I bought 3 more. Once I showed my coworkers... 4 of them ordered one too. And they had streamlights, coast, mag, other good stuff too. Honestly, the medium setting is high enough for 90% of my work. The bright is impressively bright. I think more than they are rating because compared for my 450lumen lights... the seem identical when crossing paths on a surface with fresh batteries. One doesn’t outshine the other. Anyways... a good penlight.... this is the one for me! I’m blown away by it and it was only 20 bucks! So if you’re up to it, it highly highly recommend this one. Oh, and it has a super low lumen mode, like 10 lumens or something. Perfect for reading, or lighting up something that’s really dark. Lots of light is nice, but sometimes too much.
I just got this one (the non-biometric) off Amazon for my SP01 last week. It fits the gun and two mags no problem. Great safe for the money.

There are probably better ones out there, but I use it for everything from my .22 to my M1 Garand.
Edit: Forgot to add: it's more expensive and harder to store than a sectioned rod, but with care it will last as long as your firearms do.
It’s huge and ugly, but Blackhawk makes a holster that snaps onto the light. I have one and like it plenty. here it is on amazon.
My hands sweat a lot too - I use this stuff for matches and practice sessions.
You know how Amazon recommends similar products after you purchase something? After I bought that, I got several recommendations for other brands that were marketed towards strippers...
These are ultimately what I went with.
I like the aggressive G10 grips and these also maintain the palm swell (big hands).
Here they are on the pistol.
That's exactly what they are, yes!
Set screw.... I think? I had the armorer at my local range install them ($30). Ordered them right off Amazon, these guys here.
I was looking around the web for three days. I'm a slow learner sometimes. "Hey, wonder if there's.... well, shit, of course there is an /r/CZFirearms sub".
Just bought these. Thanks!
I removed the top leg strap, slid the bottom half of the plastic clip from the holster strap and then cut off the top half of the plastic clip from the belt Velcro portions. I then joined the 2 halves with several loops of paracord and knotted it. Removing the buckle allows you then to raise the height of the holster and then keeping the Velcro portion that goes on the belt makes it still very easy to remove and put back on. The top leg strap is uncomfortable (in my opinion) on even the low drop leg holsters.
CONDOR Tornado Tact Leg Holster (Multicam, Fully adjustable) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ZU06IO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_3EN5espKy4o62
That’s the one I modified, coyote and olive drab are even cheaper. ($18-$20)
Edit: looks like they start at about $23 now unless you find one used. They were all about $19 a month ago except multi cam.
lube everything. Use grease on the slide rail. I recommend mil-comm TW25B .
You can get everything polished to break it in faster.
Buy a whole bunch of springs to find your personal sweet spot.
Also change out the sights.

Amazon has the Tekmat for $8.99.
I have one of these from IMi, it works for my SP-01 Tactical and my P-01. It's not Kydex, but it was the only level 2 retention holster I could find for them.
I don't plan on using a light on my carry piece. But I do know the rubber casing adds some millimeters and has a hinge on it. So it would affect retention and whether a holster would accept it, at all.

Filter also helps protect your actual lense, if you take it shooting.
I highly recommend it for home defense.
I got the IMi Retention Holster from Amazon and then added the belt clip instead of the paddle. Holds my SP-01 and P-01 perfectly. I normally carry IWB with a Vedder Light Tuck, but for OWB this has worked well for me.
For my CCW course I didn't want to spend too much since I pretty much never wear OWB, but it was required for the class. Ended up with a Galco M5X Matrix and a dual magazine own holster, I think IMI made that one.
Actual carry holsters I spent much more on, but for my class, I spend the least I can.
Don’t rat me out but I moved my SP-01 tactical sights over to my P-01 . The ledge it provides plus trot vials makes it super easy to rack the slide off of clothes or just my off-hand index finger.
Should fit your PCR perfectly.
This is what I have on mine, which is .17HMR https://www.amazon.com/Mueller-Rifle-Scope-Black-4-5-14/dp/B000SULCTA
I used Leupold 11mm rmifire rings on both of my 455's. Be sure that you get HIGH rings... You are going to need it for the bolt handle to clear
These, plus some adhesive grip tape on the front and back.

They were a tiny bit loose but an o ring under each screw made them rock solid
Amazon has some nice grips by 'cool hands'. I just bought these. They offer good grip texture still but significantly slim the grip profile of my P-01.
