I'll ask Podium about getting the recap recorded. In the meantime, you can read it by just clicking "Look Inside" on the Amazon product page - you don't need to buy it.
Some of Rowe's books might trickle out into bookstores but he publishes from Amazon and that's where you'll probably have to get them. Here are Defying Destiny and Diamantine. No hardcover editions of his books yet :(
In addition to all of the others the Perfect Run series is pretty good as far as building on things, character interaction and all of that.
Plus it is a 3 book series that is complete, so no open ended 5-6+ book ongoing thing.
It is a bit of a different type of world but it is well written and is pretty satisfying.
You can go to the Kindle page for AA3 and click "Look Inside" on the book image to read the start of the book, including the recap, for free.
There's a recap section at the beginning of Defying Destiny, and you can read that recap through just looking at the preview on amazon. You can also read the third book if the language was your main concern - there aren't any F-words in there.
Oh regarding the Wintersteel launch the first seven books of the Cradle series are free until the 7th I think. So it costs you literally nothing to give it a try if you're curious.
I read Wintersteel already, twice.
