That is correct. However, if you've got your Amazon and comiXology accounts linked (or if you created your account using your Amazon details) you can purchase comics on the Kindle Store and they'll sync over to your comiXology account. Just look for comics with Kindle + comiXology badging like this: https://www.amazon.com/Saga-Vol-1-Brian-Vaughan-ebook/dp/B015XEABR4/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1502467443&sr=1-1
The one that seems best and cheapest is NordVPN - $3.70/no if you buy upfront for two years at $89.
Works for more than just DCU, though, so think of all the American/Canadian/British/other stuff you can access that way!
:)
I really enjoyed Chip Zdarsky's Daredevil, which starts with Daredevil by Chip Zdarsky Vol. 1: Know Fear
I’ve randomly stumbled across The Many Deaths of Laila Starr (Boom!) being $0.93, bargain!
u/frstbasmn13 was referring to the four volume set versus the five volume set, not the story arc-based eleven volume set. You're definitely correct about the eleven volume set compared to the four volume set.
It's all very confusing since the series has been published in various forms, but u/frstbasmn13, you can see this summary of what's included between those two sets (assuming that Amazon doesn't eventually break this up into two separate lists like it should - absolutely DO NOT click the "buy series" button here, since you'll essentially get everything twice). They both collect the series into publication order and largely only differ in where they print the bonus material. I don't think there's any other major difference between them. If you do the math, they both come out to roughly $80 USD at the time I write this.
The Marvel Encyclopedia is also on sale at $1.99, but I think this makes a much better coffee table book as it's more of a reference guide than story content.
Here you go.
Because you got to search "comics app". If that not your local Amazon, change ".com" for your local's
Yeah, kindle app is a super bloated app I have found. So it takes up a lot of space. Along with your 5.62gb fee space is also not a not of a lot of space for HD books. For example, I recently got Marvel’s War of the Realms omnibus from comixology. It was 4 gbs for one book.
I would either add a giant sd card to the kindle you have or trade in the one you have and buy a new one during the prime day sales.
The link to my comic, MEMPHIS, btw:
In case you're curious.
I’m in the US and just checked. Looks like all the volumes are $9 for me. Here is the page that I was looking through. The only Berserk options I see that are $12 or more are the trade paperback versions.
Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro is a series that is still actively being published that have missing issues on Amazon.
I think Amazon just can't handle the volume of content they took on.
Just an aside from your main point, but SpyriusAlpha is right, you can get the entire Bone collection for $20:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KN1YXE4/
If you don't own any of the individual volumes, there's no sense buying them individually.
For example I own these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HHNWDHF?binding=kindle_edition&ref=dbs_dp_rwt_sb_pc_tukn
They show in my library still, but this "kindle" version is in my recommendations everyday...and the version I own doesn't come up in searches. Real nice job.
Yeah, I saw some strange stuff like this as well. Like somebody offered the Beserk Deluxe Editions for kindle as cheap Scan for sale.
Even now someone just fucking sells Berser under a fake name, its crazy.
I have one single book (so far) that won't rotate from portrait to landscape, even after checking to make sure the padlock wasn't set in the lower right hand corner. Everything else rotates. It worked fine in the old app, but since the switch, it's broke.
I still see Volume 2 of MM: Spider-Man and can either borrow or purchase it.
It might be a region issue.
what region are you in ?
its all on the amazon website, for example
If you're on Android the Marvel app is in the Google play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marvel.comics
I don't know about Apple, but I would think it would be in their app store as well.
Oh. I've just seen that they are on sale in Amazon US and Amazon ES but not in Amazon UK. I don't know what could happen if you check the Marvel App. Maybe you should try?
This is for the first issue. It's ongoing and I currently have the first 2 issues available plus a Special. Let me know what you think. Pretty sure that you can borrow them.
I’m in Canada and while it’s totally confusing, if you know what you’re looking for on Amazon.ca it is possible.
http://www.amazon.ca/-/dp/B07JKFK9F8?ref=dbs_m_cmx_awm_0000_ext
Here are the trades of that series. Seems kindle doesn’t have many of the single issues like comixology had.
There are on Amazon you just have to search for them individually. It's crazy! There is a full, free Superman graphic novel here though :)
Transformers vs. G.I. Joe: Tyrants Rise, Heroes Are Born
You can see what I'm talking about in the sample. It's especially noticeable on the 2-page image with Megatron rising.
I see the digital trades on my end. I also sent feedback to support already about my sandman collection being ungrouped in my library. All the trades are together but my single issues are not grouped at all. I wonder if that is the problem with the sale? Link to the discounted trades. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SGYH7WD
BUT (and it's a big BUT) in comixology.eu Sandman Vol. 11: Endless Nights - 30th Anniversary Edition costs 4'49€ (with a 62% discount) while in amazon.es cost 7'29€ (with a 85% discount) :(
not manga, but you can find some adult content on there: * Lost Girls * Smut Peddler
Also a lot of fan-service manga.
I don't know what else.
Matt Fraction's run on Hawkeye brought me back into the fold after many years away from comics. I recommend it wholeheartedly and it's relatively unencumbered by longstanding canon.

The easiest thing for me is to go on the website (start here: https://www.comixology.com/unlimited) and hit "Borrow" for titles you are interested in.
Then go to your phone/tablet app and download the titles you borrowed and get to reading!
I dont believe it requires the Unlimited membership, unless I am misunderstanding the category listed on their website.
This is the link to take you to the Free Comics section: https://www.comixology.com/free-comics
https://www.comixology.com/Dragon-Ball-One-Piece-Sale/page/15474
Should be right here. Manga sales don't always show up on the main page's featured section. If you go to the online website, and go to manga up at the top, it will take you to the Manga only section.
It's still there, at least in the app. What do you mean when you say there is only one series now? Like only a single volume is there now? There's only one series now (as in only Naruto or something else and no other viz Manga in the store?)
Does this link work for you? https://www.comixology.com/Viz/comics-publisher/17-0
This is the book you are trying to download?
https://www.comixology.com/Incredible-Hulk-1962-1999-1/digital-comic/1549
That book is in HD. Click on the cover in the link I posted. Do the pages look worse than that on device? It may just be the "1960s" style art that is throwing you off. What device are you using?
yeah you can totally subscribe to comics. I did it this morning when I got the new Marvel Dark Ages book. Check it out. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09969NW2Q you should see a subscribe to series button at the top of the page next to the generic image.
You can try it with FCBD that are free but I cant seem to be able to make it work

The app is still awful, I just use the Chrome extension to download all my comics in CBZ format and then read them using Comic Trim.
I did. I connected to the USA (I'm from Poland) using TunnelBear (free VPN), bought "Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Vol. 1: "Race to Death Valley", turned off the VPN and was able to download the comic without it. I bought it 1 year+ ago and had no problems whatsoever since.
