Deleted comment above was me replying to the wrong person haha
For a cheaper, uglier (and possibly... less safe) version, buy a cheap table like this and a personal desk heater (preferably with an auto off when tipped feature).
For the flat top surface you could use plywood like OP did (I think), or you could use something like a large storage container lid, some old shelves, or some cardboard.
Then use an old blanket/comforter and any old pillow!
I did this a couple years ago with this table that unfortunately is out of stock. Just be careful with your legs!
Can you line it with little path lights? It’d be sooo cute if you could find something like this that’s multicolored like what you’ve hung
Something I did in a couple of my windows was to use plant hooks and screw them in (something like this) and then hang the plants behind the curtain so I was able to have the curtain open/see outside during the day and at night close the curtains for more privacy and the plants were then on the other side. The plants had growing vines so they were like green curtains after a certain point, but still allowed light in.
In my kitchen window I used a hanging wooden shelf that used the same type of hooks to secure to the side of the window frame. I put it in the middle area of my window so again plants got light but the light was able to get in the room as well. I bought mine but if you have a few tools they can easily be made. This is where I got mine. The holes were easily filled so no griping from the landlord, haha.
It’s a custom keyboard I built, details here. and yes that’s a lamp, link.
Great room! Very beautiful.
Might I recommend castor wheels for your desk chair? They were a game changer for me: left my wooden floors unmarked, not noisy, and incredibly easy to roll around in. Kinda like roller blades for your chair.
Rainbow led lights that I hung with sticky tac and clear hooks

I think it’s this laptop stand cause I’ve had it bookmarked since the start of covid but maybe I’ll ask for it in my wishlist for the gift exchange I’m doing with friends
There are heavy duty command strips that are awesome. I have them all over my apt and can confirm they hold up and do remove easily

There seem to be a lot of knickknacks so consider maybe getting one of those desk organizers or a monitor stand/riser with storage to clear up the space a little. Looks very cosy though otherwise!
I got it from amazon. They have a lot of amazing tapestry for cheap!
