My springer had a terrible hot spot on his tail. I tried all sorts of things and finally stumbled upon this stuff. It worked for me.
Allergies! My dog did this. My vet had me buy these inexpensive antiseptic pads on Amazon and give her paws a good wipe between the toes.
This guy just reposted ONE OF THE MOST USED PICTURES OF AKITA INUS and thought people wouldn't notice - looks like 21 people didn't. This is evidence from Google's reverse image search, and this is evidence from Shutterstock.
I have a cattle hound that could slip harnesses, and not just cheap ones. Found this one on Chewy. It has a second strap that goes behind the rib cage, so it’s inescapable, but it doesn’t pull on her belly at all. Idk what your new harness looks like, but this was a game changer for me!
Hello, Until you can get to see a Vet you can try an aloe gel that is unscented w/o any additives meaning a scent or lotion if you have such handy. A better alternative is hydrocortisone cream which will provide pain relief as well as stop the itching. As an example, Aveeno is a name brand of readily available hydrocortisone cream. You can use any generic equivalent of course, just included link to provide you a visual of the product. Make sure you get to his skin as best you can when you apply it. Good Luck! 🍀 https://www.amazon.com/Aveeno-Maximum-Strength-Hydrocortisone-Anti-Itch/dp/B004XMI5O4
Dont know about the one you posted, but I have used this one for about 5 years. I own three of them. They are awesome.

I am not a veterinarian but these things worked for my pup (she is actually 9 lol). At the stage your dogs paw is you may want to take her in to the vet just to get looked at, that can not be comfortable.
I bought my dog one of these
She's used to sleep on my bed. Since I bought that bed, she sleeps there every night. She loves that bed. Is so soft and fluffy!
My girlfriend and I decided to make a TikTok place dedicated to our pup!

Bath your dog in this shampoo as directed. My dog struggled for years with hot spots. Out of frustration, I tried this shampoo. For two weeks, i bathed him every three days, then once a week. About to start every two to three weeks. 100% recommend you give it a try.
Likely not dark chocolate, right?
This is a toxicity calculator you can use. https://www.omnicalculator.com/biology/dog-chocolate-toxicity#how-much-chocolate-can-a-70-lb-dog-eat
It’s likely not enough to hurt. I had a dog that was only about 18lbs eat an entire box of very dark chocolate truffles filled with alcohol of all things. 🤦🏻♀️ He was close to death when we found him. Stomach pumped, but it was too late. He seized on and off for 3 days and we had a lot of pulp fiction moments, having to shoot him up with meds from the vet to stop the seizures. It was really scary, but he recovered and that was waaaay more dark chocolate, alcohol and a much smaller dog.

Gotta get one of these ball throwers! My dog is a huge lover of fetch and it is a shoulder saver! Also, super cute dog 😍
This stuff. My dog gets Hotspots and allergy rashes. Thus stuff seems to really help relieve itching and help heal any chafing or rashes.
Have you tried antler or hoof we also have something that resembles a horn all of which he hasn’t destroyed yet! What age is he? We avoid stuffed toys as he just rips them apart.

I'd also recommend talking about em with others, even if it makes you cry. You're not only honoring em by sharing stories but moving through the grieving process. You'll also learn of how many others have lost a beloved pet. The pain you feel is unique to you and there's no time table on getting over your loss.
Wishing you the best mate, sorry for your loss.
Definitely time for a trip to the vet.
I've had really good results with this stuff for several different skin issues with my dog.

There are dry brooms that work pretty well for dog hair. But they probably aren't going to get it all.

I have a similar broom it got handfuls of dog hair out of a short carpet that looked hair-free.
My dog is an Australian Cattle Dog, so short hair double coat.
Dunno about long hair and they are much cheaper than 300 dollar magic doggo hair vacuum.
You could try fylball. Loads of videos on YouTube and I'm fairly sure you build the set up with a set of these and a chair or upturned laundry basket
In addition to the above, get x-mats for your bed to deter him from going up there:

Kong Wubbas are about the best we’ve found, and even they say “not for extended chew sessions.” Otherwise, the Kong rubber chewy things are basically indestructible, but not soft and not good for tug of war. Kong Tuggas are good too, but don’t squeak.. Amazon often has them as add-on items where you pay $5.99 (instead of $17.99) but you have to have other items already being shipped.
On the Wubbas, we buy the large size for our 80-pound Golden and, oddly, our 12-pound poodle also likes that size. (Don’t buy the kind that have animal faces and ears for heavy chewers or they’ll rip the faces off in about 1.5 minutes lol.) We buy the small size for our tiny Chi. They last forever.
I got something that connects to the clean out of the sewer so you can uncap it and drop the waste down there. It works surprisingly well! [Doggie Doo Drain Dog Waste Disposal](https://Doggie Doo Drain Dog Waste Sewer Disposal System
You can try sea kelp. I started my Murphy on it for his breath and tarter. After no ill effects from it, I gave it to my girls, one if which had horrid gas, like rotten bologna smelling gas. 2 days later it stopped. Like literally been dealing with this for months and now it's gone.
One if my clients put their girl on it for her anal glands and after 3 weeks, it reduced the flair ups from every day to once a week.
Here is what I get; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSUOTWS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
After trying all of the home remedies with no success, a friend told us about Nature's Miracle. Worked so well when our golden got sprayed! We tried tomato juice, a mixture of dawn dish soap/baking soda, and a few others we found online and they didn't touch the smell. First rinse with Natures Miracle and the smell was cut in half. A few more and it was tolerable again.

They sell it at a lot of pet stores.
Good luck!

I'm really sorry to hear how much you're hurting. I do believe sorrow and even guilt are normal, even if there's nothing you could have done. Choosing when and how to let a loved one go can be incredibly traumatic.
After I lost a dog who had been my main family for 13 years, my therapist told me that serious grief is normal. Even more than the humans in our lives reasonably could be, they are kind, generous, loving, and devoted. It has been two years, and I've adopted three puppies since his passing. I most recently cried missing him last night. This morning, though, I smiled as my 6-mo old who looks just like him falling asleep with her head and paws in his old food dish, like he used to.
As I would suggest for someone struggling with grief over anyone's passing, I hope you will consider finding a trusted therapist who validates your experience while helping you find peace. I also hope you will consider adopting a dog again in the future. Any dog would be lucky to be so loved.

They make a way cheaper one of these that is a metal crate with more of a wood veener which is great if your dog would chew the wood. Crate. Still pretty awesome though, especially if you live in a smaller space.
what do you mean he shakes? from the cold? spasms? medical issues? scared? not sure what having him for 3 months would mean for shaking
ive used a tooth "gel" before that you just have to get on their teeth with your finger...it foams up a bit as they lick it off and that cleans...sure, its not a scrubbing from a brush, but better than nothing
this is a pretty good kit that has the gel and a finger tip toothbrush to make it easier to brush
