I also put together this app with a couple sounds I could gather from a single video.
Please excuse the lack of quality, I threw this together in under and hour, and I'm just a simpleton guitar player...

If you give me some more info I can make better recommendations, but I saw this starter kit on Amazon.
Squier by Fender Affinity Series PJ Bass, Laurel Fingerboard, 3-Color Sunburst, Rumble 15 Amp https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B097FGVTFJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_KN6DB20HMTBPZK3WZ0K0
My first bass was a Squier P bass. It did it's job until I got more serious about playing. Squier is the more affordable line from Fender. The one I linked has a P style neck pickup and a J style bridge pickup. That combo should be good for all around playing style. This kit also comes with a strap, cord, and a little 15 watt amp. 15 watts is enough to hear it, but won't be able to keep up with drums or anything.
That is kind of official, mate 😂

When I went to Israel, I noticed the fender basses were cheaper than in Europe.

You must buy a solid flight case for your bass guitar and then it will be ok.

Here is an example

Let me tell you my story.
I had an acoustic guitar in a gigbag and went to israel. By guitar was destroyed at arrival. Not because of security but because the guitar took hits.
I bought a new guitar and a flight case. Then, the second time I went to Israel, there was no problem. It was considered as regular additional luggage.
