"Thanks to NordVPN for sponsoring - Get the exclusive NordVPN deal at It's risk-free with Nord's 30-day money-back guarantee!" was a really funny and interesting comment imo
I watched that video somewhat recently and I think the only times he talks about the name Andrew are at 14:27 and 15:41 :
> If anything, I probably should have made my own training video for Wendy’s management to teach them how to properly pay their employees and stop calling me Andrew because that’s not my name.
> That’s ExpressVPN dot com slash Drew. Not Andrew. Okay. That’s not my name.
I would have just linked directly to those parts but I’m on my phone
Anyway, I didn’t rewatch the video, just skipped to those parts that I remembered. So I can watch the whole video to check if he says his name actually is Andrew, but I find it hard to believe he’d say his name is Andrew and then say twice that his name isn’t Andrew, you know?
From what I found, that isn’t totally accurate. The CIO used to do that stuff before working at ExpressVPN and then got fined billions of dollars (and somehow not jail time?). After this info became public (which is also when Express found out) the company said they would keep him on staff because having former criminal hackers on staff is a good way to know how to stop current criminal hackers.
From what I could find with my minimal research skills, data from ExpressVPN has not been found to be getting sold to the UAE, but someone who was found guilty of selling data to the UAE in the past does now hold. High position in the company.
