So I took an old metal tub (like for beer) that is about 18" tall, 30" long, and 12" wide (it holds two pairs perfectly if one pair is showing outsides and one pair showing insides). I lined that with (heavy duty) tin foil. I bought this 600W LED light off Amazon for $50 (it's 50% of $100 right now). I took a thin piece of wood (I think mine is cabinet backing) and cut it to the width and length of the tub and cut a hole a little smaller than the light in the middle of the piece of wood. Initially I intended for the piece of wood with the LED to cover the tub, but it got a little hot in there very quickly, so I now place the wood on the tub at a 90 degree angle (perpendicular) so there is air flow on both sides out the top.

Use a cleaning kit and shake off excess water, clean with the suds, and when it dries, use a suede brush to reknap the suede. The corduroy material is no different than washing a pair of pants so that’s the least of your worries.

I got one of these a couple months ago and I'm gonna be buying another one here shortly. It's a decent option, if you're not wanting the Container Store boxes. I've seen some people with this one and they build it differently, to where it's more of a display piece, than a cubby hole type thing...if that makes sense.
I’ll have to find a pair of those laces then, unfortunately they didn’t come with the shoe but this is definitely what I’m going to do
