(Could be the 'net nanny at work... will check later.)
Granted, I'm sure it's not particularly worth it to add workshop functionality when all it amounts to is removing the middleman from plunking models into your project, but...
I can't say I agree with the idea that "if itch.io can't have it, nobody can!" Hosting one's own site is a hundred times more trouble than simply taking advantage of Steam's existing infrastructure.
/u/PixelForestGames will ultimately be the one that can answer this for you, but you might check out what itch.io allows since that is the distributor. But I can tell you that for only $10, I'd suggest you go ahead and just get it now and not wait until you get your next computer. Definitely worth it, IMHO.
Moderators can make this as the stickied Feature Request Thread (maybe change title to simple: Feature Request Thread).
Also, developer way wish to sticky a thread in itch.io dedicated forum....
If your thinking of going that way you might be better off looking at Epic. Apparently if the app is written in Unity/Unreal they wave the commission. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/about Its 30% on Steam I believe.
Cool, looking forward to seeing what you do inside paintshop

Pretty comparable to photoshop, that is a lot better than paintshop, but at the end of the day, go with what works for you.
If you post an image, use reddits submit image button instead of linking it in the text description, some users wont be able to see what you made unless they click on the post
