Check out low-sodium coconut aminos. Might make your rice taste better. I also picked up some vegan cashew butter, but I can't go crazy with it :(

Hey this is great to hear, congrats on your healing! After 6 years this must feel like a miracle.
I’ve been browsing Amazon, is it these ones you got? I’ve seen a lot of people mention this brand and want to give it a go.
Doctor's Best PepZin GI- Zinc-L-Carnosine Complex 120 Veggie Caps https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00JWYA4HO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S6KT8TG9RBQ5C4H7C58B
I hope they are allowed though
https://www.amazon.co.uk/More-Bile-Reflux-Gastritis-Medications-ebook/dp/B075K2V91P
I have flair ups occasionally if i'm bad but I am fairly healed. I took Betaine HCI Pepsin for a while and I think that helped.
Someone else on here suggested doing a test to see if you had too high or too low stomach acid. I did it and believed I had too low stomach acid. I tried this stuff for a bit and it seemed to work. I still can't fall of the wagon and go back to drinking huge cups of coffee everyday, putting hot sauce on everything and drinking every night but alas, part of getting older I guess. At least my stomach doesn't hurt anymore and I don't have weird dizzy spells.
I am doing these capsules.
NOW Supplements, Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra) 400 mg, Herbal Supplement, 100 Veg Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014UFVBI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_12NGAK6JNP4AK3TB6D0F?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
That’s a great idea! I should do that to see if any changes trigger.
Since Sunday 2/4 I cut out coffee, tomatoes, & the aciditic foods listed in the chart thats pinned to the reddit. I slowly felt my appetite coming back. Before starting the diet I would be really nauseous all the time & unable to eat even when i was starving.
I also started making this tea today that someone mentioned: Cuachalalate, it’s a mexican root. It’s supposed to be good for gastritis. I’ll lyk how it works.
I still feel out of breath sometimes, especially close to dinner time if I am eating a little later than usual. Does that happen to you?
Link to tea: cuachalalate
For the last two weeks my stool has been brown again. I think my gastritis may have been caused by non alcoholic fatty liver. I was diagnosed with fatty liver with an ultrasound last October. So, recently, I started taking sugar very sparingly and switching to brown sugar when I need it. I also began eating almond butter, whole grain bread, a little of beet root juice in water along with apple cider vinegar and these capsules https://www.amazon.com/Ancestral-Supplements-Grass-Organs-Desiccated/dp/B06XP7Z1KN And I've increased my bone broth to 2 meals per day. But your gastritis may not be liver related.
I've been trying this out, and so far no crazy irritation. I'm only indulging in it about once a week. Three flavor experience is about a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. But not having coffee for over 2 months it's not a big deal that it is not on par with a true Italian espresso blend.
Tyler’s No Acid Organic Ground Coffee - 100% Arabica Full Flavor Decaf - Neutral pH - No Bitter Aftertaste - Gentle on Digestion, Reduce Acid Reflux - Protect Teeth Enamel - For No Acid Diets - 12 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010ABB6KQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_z7ERFbFQXEFRH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use the Endurance Products brand.
I would recommend giving Licorice Root a try. You can get it in the vitamin section at most health food stores. Or on Amazon: Licorice Root 450 mg 100 Caps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00068U73G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_TuNBwbEBNWTT4
It's not instant relief , but it has worked wonders for my own gastritis after taking it 1-2 times a day for a few days.
I’ve used both but found the capsule to be more convenient. I strongly recommend against getting a mastic gum supplement that has fillers (silica, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, etc). Also, mastic gum that’s from Chios Greece is the best quality you can get. It’s more expensive but way better than the filler brands out there.
Here’s the brand I went with: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TE42QQ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YoxqFbYEKCVJE
Diet: bland foods, think BRAT diet they give to kids for food poisoning
Supplements: Zinc Carnosine helps repairs stomach linning, L-glutamine helps heal ulcers as well, aloe vera juice is also really helpful I've found.
Burning feeling in stomach: put non - irritating foods in there like white rice, bananas, brown rice protein shakes work for me, was super into health and fitness at 5'8 was fairly vascular at around 155 lbs, now i'm 138.
Slippery Elm will help coat the stomach while you eat or while you sleep. Specifically Ulmas Fulva Bark powder, you'll run into Slippery elm on amazon that are capsules and are Ulmas Rubra, they don't work nearly as well.
This brand helped me sleep at my worst, still using it now. Take about 1.3g measured in a lil scoop, throw it in a cup, add water, no refrigeration or boiling neeed.
What it does is coat your stomach while you eat or sleep to add a layer of protection from the acid being produced.
Wait about 5 minutes, take the cup (preferably wide mouth) and drink. Play around with the way you lay down and drink it in order to fully coat your stomach. Or at least bend over/lay in order to adequately let the gel coat whatever part is burning.
Think laying on your side, drinking it to let it cover your side, or bending over your bed kinda like in a pushup position to let this cover your front/upper stomach when you drink it. etc.
Currently had some burning on my left side of my belly button earlier today, threw some in there and burning subsided.
Time, patience and not eating anything that aggravate the inflammation further, do your best to get plenty of rest and keep stress down.
Hiya,

I haven't had to take it for a while but this is the one I use:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0013G89LC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00?ie=UTF8&th=1

My tummy has been much better since being put on Propranolol which is an anxiety medication for physical symptoms. It reduces your heart rate, nausea, shaking, sweating etc. I think one of my gastritis triggers could very well be anxiety and stress. I noticed whenever I got dressed to go out, my stomach would start clenching/hurting because my whole body would seize up. I would defo look into your stress levels and anxiety as it can cause gastritis. The aloe vera definitely helped with acid reflux!

I hope this helps <3
i have one but i always slide off also am not sure if its big enough to keep me from fully laying down https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JLKLFLW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this one😊
i added some pillows on the side and top but still get so much burning and pain the minute i lay on my wedge pillow im hoping its just abig flare up and nothing more serious i never had burning this painful🥺
uhm which golden milk and oatmilk do you recommend? and do i mix both and heat them up? also do i drink it an hour before bed?😯
That's me, minus the sore throat. But I do have the globus sensation, but higher up in the nasopharynx, not the actual throat.
Nothing helped me either but Manuka honey and black seed oil. It helps #1 with the nausea and fullness, not quite as much or as fast with everything else. But seriously, it's worth a try.
This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.com/Raw-Manuka-Honey-Zealand-Quality/dp/B07DZSMJYF/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=manuka+honey%27&qid=1669111704&sr=8-8

3x daily, 1 teaspoon, on an empty stomach
Here is an example.
I’m not saying do this exactly but this is kinda a visual on how it would work.
Get some Deanxit, after trying every supplement, PPIs etc. this helped me really. It will also help for the depressive symptoms.
"Deanxit can significantly improve patients' clinical symptoms, including both psychiatric and somatic."
Same here, it's amazing! I also stumbled upon this, it may be helpful
Like I said: it definitely wasn't the diet alone.
But for the diet, I found a list with the pH values of foods: https://gastritis.club/ph-food-list
And tried to eat stuff above 6 (7 is neutral, everything above 7 is alkaline). Broccoli, Aubergines, Zucchini and other vegetables were the basis, but I also cooked chicken and turkey breast (small amounts) and in a dry cooker pan, no oil (same with the vegetables, no oil). Gluten free oatmeal in the morning with coconut/rice/almond milk. Gluten free bread (rice, maia, quinoa, etc). Half a mug of warm sweet elm tea/chamomile tea 30 mins before meals. I started combining coconut milk with chamomile tea to sweeten it.
Thing is cold liquids constrict your intestines/guts and slows down the digestion process. Warm liquids enlarges them and speeds up the digestion, this means the acid doesn't spend too much time in the stomach. A fast digestion is important. That's why eating less is also strongly recommended. You need to reduce the acid and the time it spends there. So that the healing can start.
The diet alone didn't work lol. Still had flares, bloating, pain in the upper area just below the chest. Then I found The Gastritis Healing Book by LG Cappelan: https://www.amazon.com/Gastritis-Healing-Book-Comprehensive-Restore/dp/B088T18H29
Where I read that the meals had to be much smaller sized: after taking this advice, the foods I ate finally stopped giving me high levels of acidity. The change was sudden, literally from the first smaller sized meal.
The lesson I learned was you can eat the most alkaline foods and take the best teas/supplements and best pills, cause if you are not careful in HOW you eat all this stuff, it's all for nothing and you'll end up throwing your hands at the sky, puzzled why nothing seems to work. Well, apparently, it's crucial how you use it.
Hey, I wouldn’t be scared of something if it’s organic. If you have an adverse reaction, just stop using it. That’s why I only use 1. Some people take it before EVERY meal. I take it in the morning when I wake up. 1 pill - Oregon's Wild Harvest Slippery... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0028D622W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
You can find them on the baby food aisle.
There's no clinical research that supports that any specific type of probiotic helps with gastritis more than others, but this is what I use:
With breakfast: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KWCVBN5/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
With dinner: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019LTIP2/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Oh gosh :( That really sucks I'm so sorry. Does a heating pad help you at all? Mine was like that in the beginning too, I would fall asleep basically just sitting up on my left side and hugging a pillow, leaning against another pillow. Lol yeah the things we do for relief. I'm glad that helped though. Did it just randomly stop helping?
Did you take this one? (DGL) https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Factors-Licorice-Supports-Integrity/dp/B0001KFGWQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=deglycyrrhizinated%2Blicorice&qid=1665534273&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjEzIiwicXNhIjoiMy44MyIsInFzcCI6IjMuNzIifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-1-spons&...
And then for melatonin do you take this one? https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Encapsulations-Melatonin-Hypoallergenic-Supplement/dp/B00166FXY0/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=KD7KCL2VRTEF&keywords=pure+melatonin+0.5mg&qid=1665534364&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIwLjAwIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&...
I was looking into the pure brand for DGL too but they have marshmallow root and slippery elm in their formula, which I want to try separately. (Sorry for all the questions 😣)
How long have you had gastritis for btw?
Of course! I hope this works! It should be a white bottle with blue and green writing!
They can make whatever claims they want but people still have individual triggers, I can't eat coconuts for example. I use this almond protein powder it's a single ingredient and I haven't had any issues with it.
Hiya, no sorry I take 1 tsp in a cup of warm water. I ordered this one off Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Honest-Good-Servings-Collagen-Seasoning/dp/B08XZJ41YC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=bone+broth+powder&qid=1664869487&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjY1IiwicXNhIjoiNC4wNyIsInFzcCI6IjMuODQifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
But any bone broth is fine as long as you check the ingredients, sometimes they have onion or garlic powder added which you should avoid!
You my friend have Candida. You need to get on a candida diet. This booked healed everything I thought I had which included Gastristis, Sibo, Arthritis, brain fog etc. Candida was the cause of everything.
The Candida Cure: The 90-Day Program to Balance Your Gut, Beat Candida, and Restore Vibrant Health https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VBHS2S/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_6RQNWRYSMPP038E987RK
Hey man, hang in there.
I bought suppositories for situations like this. Give them a try. They won't bother your stomach one bit.
I just searched amazon and unfortunately I could only find child dosages, so you'd have to cram a bunch of them up there lol, but it will work and it will definitely spare your gut!

I am following this diet and recommendations and am feeling the best I have felt in years.
I use this almond based protein powder: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P92TSB?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k1_1_6&amp&crid=1DY0498Z1GFBF&amp&sprefix=anthon

Gluten Free Whole Grain Rolled Oats, Ground Whole Oats, Oat Bran, Chicory Root Fiber, Egg Whites, Dried Fruits (Cranberries, Black Currants, Unsweetened Coconut, Dates), Organic Palm Fruit Oil, Filtered Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Ground Flax Seeds, Natural Flavors, Vanilla Extract, Chia Seeds, Baking Soda, Cinnamon.
Thank you for sharing.
This is what I use, it's never bothered my stomach: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P92TSB?ref=nb\_sb\_ss\_w\_as-reorder-t1\_ypp\_rep\_k1\_1\_7&amp&crid=29O19CHT7MSRO&amp&sprefix=anthony
This is what I use, it's just almond-based and just has one ingredient: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088P92TSB?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k1_1_7&amp&crid=29O19CHT7MSRO&amp&sprefix=anthony
I do not have SIBO so I don't know if this fits all of your requirements. There's egg white-based protein powders out there as well.
I probably sound like a broken record/annoying at this point, but... try Manuka honey. Seriously. I know you've got other issues that may be at the root of your gastritis/GERD, but nothing ever helped me like the honey. PPIs stopped working or didn't work at all, no supplement, no diet, literally NOTHING make a difference.

1 teaspoon, 3x daily, on an EMPTY stomach. You can also take a black seed oil supplement with it. Any type will do, they're all over Amazon. Try it for a week, see if you feel a difference. I really hoping you do, because for me, things started to get better within 2 days.
B12and whichever brand of probiotics you choose. I linked what am currently using and so far it’s been good.
I second the heating pad, it works for me too. I have something similar to this:
But there’s electric ones if you prefer.
I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q6X2R1P?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k1_1_5&amp&crid=JEV3O96VET1T&amp&sprefix=gluta
I think it helps.
Yes, you need protein to rebuild your stomach lining! Maybe get some powdered collagen, too. I use this kind because it has multiple types of collagen (Type III helps support your inner tissues/organs/stomach/GI tract). https://www.amazon.com/Collagen-Hydrolyzed-Friendly-Unflavored-Horbaach/dp/B07Y3ZSZWZ/ref=sxts_rp_s_a_1_0?content-id=amzn1.sym.37bfdf6c-7ccf-4cc5-bf39-7ab64af31a28%3Aamzn1.sym.37bfdf6c-7ccf-4cc5-bf39-7ab64af31a28&cv_ct_cx=collagen+peptides&...
Gastritis fucking SUCKS because it's one of the illnesses that takes the longest to heal from. Feeling like shit every day will absolutely get to you mentally. But just keep in mind that healing IS possible, it IS somewhere down the road for you, there are so many people who have come out of this.
I have heard that people take anti-depressants for gastritis symptoms and it helps. Largely because anxiety and mental things do contribute to the problem. There are even threads here about it.
I'm a complete broken record around here, but have you tried Manuka honey? Nothing helped me as much as that did. One teaspoon, 2-3x day on an empty stomach. I started to feel better within days. Make sure its a reputable brand though, I've linked one of few trustworthy ones I've found:
As far as OTC medications go... you can try all kinds of antacids (they're just a bandaid tho), but STAY AWAY from Advil, Aleve, Aspirin, and even Tylenol. It will do nothing other than make the problem worse. In fact, my gastritis was caused by Advil wearing down my stomach.
Get him on Manuka honey, asap. It doesn't just help with symptoms, it heals. One teaspoon, 2-3x day, on an empty stomach. Try some black seed oil supplements with it too

This one: "Oliv'e olio", some Italian olive oil.
Probiotics are extremely helpful in my opinion. Everyone’s body handles them differently in supplement form. I can’t eat the foods that provide them naturally. I’ve tried many brands and found these on Amazon and they’re very affordable. I definitely have a marked improvement with them.
Nutricost Lactobacillus... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y1XXXG6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I never had any issues with milk or milk-derived products. I did cut out dairy, but I thought it was cuz of the high fat content. But now that theory is thrown into question.
This is the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002UTPNLU?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I'm still in a flare up today unfortunately.. but I bought a vegan protein powder. I'm still in pain but I'm tempted to test it out anyways. I figured since I'm already messed up, might as well double up the pain?? lol i dunno man, maybe it's a bad idea...
I've been trying this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0777GT9K6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I think it helps? I take it with 8 oz of collagen water.
One tablet at a time. They are 400 mg tablets. https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Factors-Licorice-Supports-Integrity/dp/B0001KFGWQ/
It's well-known as a remedy. Not personally familiar with it. Here are some reviews on its benefits for many things - https://www.amazon.com/Supplements-Coral-Calcium-1000-Capsules/dp/B000OSW51A#customerReviews
I've been using this veggie stock from Massel that doesn't have onions or garlic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V6FIVR2. It doesn't give you the same gut repair benefits as bone broth (for that you can try collagen), but it's helpful for making gastritis-friendly soups and other meals.
You could check out The Gastritis Healing Book which has recipes for smoothies. It might also be helpful when you can have more solids. There aren't a ton of vegetarian friendly options, but I've just been rotating through 2 or 3 things. I don't eat most meats (only fish) and this book was a lifesaver as I figured out what to eat.
I totally get it. For a while there, drinking water would set me off. This is the PepZin GI I've been using: https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Zinc-L-Carnosine-Complex-Digestive/dp/B0035BYOSA. I hope it helps you!
I spread a small amount. I don’t measure it. I just eat a little bit throughout the day. Same with the fruit. I eat 2 bananas a day, but small amounts each meal. I overeat yesterday, and today I’m not feeling so well. The peanut butter is available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Santa-Cruz-Organic-Roasted-Creamy/dp/B00S7JFK42/ref=mp_s_a_1_16_f3_0o_fs?crid=4GBTBXSUKGT9&keywords=pinute+butter&qid=1654453178&sprefix=pinut%2Caps%2C144&sr=8-16

Our whole family became sick after taking these contaminated pills!! We also bought these “new” bottles made of recycled plastic & they even smell toxic!! They taste like toxic plastic in your mouth too! We all became ill after taking these- vomiting & nausea!!
I called the company & reported it to the Medical Reporting Line. They said multiple consumers have been calling & reporting the same thing!!!
Recycled plastic ALWAYS contains HIGH levels of BPA!!!!!

I fortunately never experienced acid rebound issues. If anything I felt awful while on PPI's and immediately felt better once off of them. A lot of people here talk about going off of them slowly so if you feel more comfortable with that then go for it!
I've dealt with the chest aches, constipation, and burping too! I also had nausea in the mornings and this empty/hungry sensation in my stomach that def was not hunger but just acid. The burping was the worst because it was constant. I hardly burp anymore though.
I would really look into a probiotic! I also tried them a few months back and didn't feel any different so I stopped but I've stuck to them this time and I have noticed less bloating and more regularity with bowel movements.
If you have an instagram or access to instagram, check out @ hannahhaylwardhhc!
I've learned a lot from her!! She does what I think is more similar to functional medicine?
I also bought the Gastritis Healing Book that everyone here recommends and it was verrrrrry insightful.
I also got this book (link).
This one is Amazon’s choice and many of us use this brand — I should probably take them more often myself but I forget to, oops. Seems like good stuff though!

I'm sorry you're going through this. My uncle had c.difficile and it was awful but he got through it. You need to be drinking some kind of electrolytes. If you're drinking a ton of water especially. That's probably why you're dehydrated. It might help your bowels move a bit more too. I use a product called salt sticks. https://www.amazon.ca/SaltStick-Electrolyte-Replacement-Capsules-bottle/dp/B002IY96B0

I am uk based and take a brand called 'optibac' (the every day variety) which were recommended by a dietician. You can get them on Amazon and they have definitely improved my digestion. I take them very first thing in the morning when I wake up- literally while I am still in bed so they get to where they need to. I also have erosive gastritis. By far the biggest thing that's helped lately is cutting my portion size down - my stomach really doesn't like being stretched. I eat max 2 cups of (bland) food per meal/snack. I actually measure it out - got myself a set of American style measuring cups. I have also started to wait at least an hour after food before I drink. Straight from the bag.
You could Famotidine at to ward off night time acid as you sleep. I recently weaned myself off of 40mg. I started with the Famotidine i was🌻taking 40mg twice a day, kind of by accident as i ran out and the new bottle didn't get with the rest of my pills. The next week I went to every other day of 40mg Pant.
I didn't have any problems but I'm not sure I'm a good example. I have chronic gastritis without no symptoms except for iron deficient that led to Anemia which was resolved after 8 iron infusions. I've thankfully never had flare ups. So i'm not surprised i didn't have rebound.
RC Capellan has a chapter on getting off PPIs at the end if his books The Gastric Healing book available on Amazon. Her also has a Facebooks group on Gastritis.

Hi, I'm in the UK too and it's been an absolute nightmare dealing with various doctors over the past month.
I'm almost two weeks on Omeprazole (40mg) with little to no difference in pain. I'm still constantly uncomfortable. The only difference I've noticed is that I'm able to actually eat now. The pain/discomfort is also at the top middle part of my stomach.
I have completely changed my diet, which I've heard lots of people say is essential for the healing process. I'd get this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B088T18H29/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_VSMGN54SW6HGX6ZYF0GK as it's been very educational for me and has helped many others.
I hope the pain goes for us both soon but unfortunately I've heard it can take a while.
I ordered this one, only one I can find without sorbitol and other additives that might upset the stomach

Definitely going through the same thing. Was down to 105 lbs. I started taking Lexapro a few months ago because the anxiety and panic attacks were daily.. very low dose. My doc also gave me a very low dose of Valium to take nightly for neck pain due to muscle/weight loss. I had a gastritis flare up yesterday and the anxiety came with it, I took a tiny bit of Valium and it really helped calm things down since it's a muscle relaxer. Since starting the anxiety meds, I've been able to gain back 5 lbs. It's a slow process.
My psychiatrist also told me to take Valerian root extract for anxiety. So I don't know if you maybe want to try that first. He also recommended a CBT workbook: https://www.amazon.com/Retrain-Your-Brain-Behavioral-Depression/dp/1623157803/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=3LNGPQTDMU7RT&keywords=cbt+workbook&qid=1647613760&sprefix=cbt%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-5
You just have to keep telling yourself that this is temporary and it's treatable. Good luck!!
If you had stomach cancer, that would've been seen in those tests. The doctor would've seen lesions or tumors.
A lot of people who had Covid are complaining of gastritis.
Health anxiety is probably your biggest problem. Get some of this stuff and try it. It works for me and my daughter.

You should try chaga coffee. It is mushroom based so no acidity & it will help you keep ur habit. It has a different taste but it can still be rich if u get a nice hazelnut blend. You can also brew it on a french press or coffee maker. It was definitely hard for me too but chaga definitely makes you feel like ur having coffee!

Here’s a good book on how to recover https://www.amazon.com/Gastritis-Healing-Book-Comprehensive-Restore/dp/B088T18H29 but your gonna have to force yourself to eat i did for months guarantee if you strictly follow the diet the nausea will definitely improve, but it probably won’t be gone until you heal some.
I like these
But enzymes are tricky, they can definitely add to the burn. The ones above say take 3 after a meal, so you could try taking one and see how it feels. It does come in smaller bottles too.

You can pick up at publix Walmart cvs and Amazon.
Trust me. ;)
Stay strong! You have your whole life ahead of you and you can heal.
I’d potentially start a stronger ppi, 40 to 80mg. But it sounds like you’ve been taking them for awhile, it’s not the best to take them every day for more than 4-8 weeks. Maybe talk to a functional Dr that can help you address the underlying causes. Also, there is Sucralfate that could help coat the stomach to let whatever is inflamed in there heal faster. Usually you take it 2 to 4 times a day.
As for supplements you can try glutamine free form powder 2x a day, 1 rounded teaspoon in the morning and another in the evening to help repair your stomach lining.
My friend who’s healed his gastritis likes this sup a lot.
Finally, Lily of the Desert may help its a combo of things that help sooth and coat the stomach.
Also, I know how much a flare sucks on a holiday. All that delicious food and you can eat any of it.
Just know you have a community of people out here to rely on. We know how much this condition can take over our lives. We all just want to be able to eat a slice of pizza without doubling over
Gotcha, I’d wait for the results. One of the other posters on here put it best, Stomach inflammation is like an open wound you have to let it scab up and heal completely. If not you just keep scratching at the scab it’ll never heal. Alc and other triggers are the scratching. And the further bad part is that the scab is already being scratched a little everyday by the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs, if this inflammation was in our mouths it would heal in like a few days/weeks.
Finally, My friend who healed his gastritis has had success with the below for building up his stomach.
https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Sports-L-Glutamine-Powder-1-Pound/dp/B0013OXEKK You’ll want the powder, take 2x scoops a day. You can eventually up that to 3-4. Glutamine is really helpful with helping your stomach lining.
I had gastritis for 3 months but got better after 37 days of doing this daily. For my diet I was only eating 2-3 times a day due to stomach pain and nausea you can look up some diets online but what I was eating was Chicken or fish with white rice, breakfast I would have oatmeal. What helped the most was this DAILY I would drink some Lily of the desert before breakfast this
