I've also heard pretty mixed reviews about other brands, though I've not used any myself.
When I'm out of town I pre-portion food for each tank and put the food in pill organizers. Something like this.
Easy to keep track of, and it prevents them from being overfed.

I am pretty sure it is this one:
I got it a few years ago and it is amazing, the one with the adult was a 0.5 and the babies were in a 0.3, I highly recommend them!
The earliest I personally can do it is around 2 weeks. Im sure others can do it faster! It depends how quickly they grow. The easiest way to confirm female is a gravid spot (dark egg pouch). Do not rely solely on anal fun sexing for fry because they all look female for a while.

This is the fry food I use. Smells gross but it's awesome.
That is a cute little male. Here is a link to a simple brine shrimp hatcher. Guppies thrive on freshly hatched baby brine shrimp. This hatcher is perfect for people with smaller amounts of fish. I use it all the time. https://www.amazon.com/Brine-Shrimp-Direct-Hatchery-Dish/dp/B079C6BN2B?pd_rd_w=IPY3K&content-id=amzn1.sym.3cb9b85f-43ef-4d4b-94d0-0a8efe2194e9&pf_rd_p=3cb9b85f-43ef-4d4b-94d0-0a8efe2194e9&pf_rd_r=GBWFKD1H7AY1RTQRYPY2&pd_rd_wg=gX6pw...
You will find nearly all modern strains are based on snakeskin.
hatching baby brine shrimps can be a pain in the rear end and also trying to separate the egg shells afterwards is a headache (egg shells can foul your water and if fry eat them they can choke and die). here's a great product to substitute with same nutritional value. tried it out this week and my guppies love these. just soak it in water before you feed them. easy as that. no waiting 24+ hours. it does have a unpleasant smell but other than that, it's great.

Thanks! The pot is made of waterproof fiberglass but a clay pot would work just fine. I've seen some use clay, cement, wood barrel lined with pond lining, etc. There's some awesome pots sold at plants or pottery stores. For filter I'm using a simple sponge filter but the majority of the filtration is done by the plants. I also have lots of driftwood and rocks for beneficial bacteria and also threw a bag of seachem matrix in. In my smaller patio pond I don't have a filter just lots of water lettuce and a bag of seachem matrix. I'll post pictures once my platinum white guppies arrive and I toss them in. Post pictures if you ever set one up. I'd love to see it.

It sounds like parasites. There is a medicated food you can try. something like this
Just googled and found the same one on Amazon, but for $261 forget that! Just go to home depot or a pottery store and buy something similar for way cheaper!
This is similar to what I'm using. Just Google, there are many choices. Not expensive, so u can just purchase and try. Get something that can your small tank.
You might have some casualties but I'm sure there will be some alive in a week. Just get the Eheim Everday Fish Feeder https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F2117I?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. It runs on 2 AA batteries and works great. I've used it a few times before. Toss some powder food in for the fry and add some plants and you're good.
was browsing Amazon for a light, stumbled upon this beauty in the reviews section

Does anyone know what it is and where to get my hands on 1? or 100?
Led lights don't have to be expensive, like $50 tops. I use this kind from amazon. It works pretty well for the anubias I have in my tank. I definitely agree with the vinyl, good for hiding cords too
