Yeah the notebooks per energy change over a longer period of time because you don't have to buy them each day.
50 notebook cost/ (3 energy per day * 7 days a week)= 2.38 notebooks per energy for one week
60 notebook cost/ (~3.43 energy per day * 7 days a week)= 2.50 notebooks per energy for one week
Here's a graph showing notebooks spent per energy received where 'x' is the number of days. The relative value of both evens out very very quickly, it's negligible before two weeks.
Really though this isn't super accurate because it assumes that players will grab the energy as soon as it's available. When I'm not grinding super hard I might grab one or two energies off any given pet a day. That graph looks like this. The difference is more dramatic, but by a week you're still looking at a difference of 0.7 notebooks spent per energy received. In the long-run it super, super doesn't matter.
Really the bigger issue for me isn't notebooks per energy, it's how goddamn slowly we receive notebooks. It's been around a month and the maximum amount of possible notebooks received is a little over 60. There's also no real consistency to how many will be given out in any event and how much work is required.
Did you update the game around the time the Malfoy TLSQ came out? If you didn't, that's the problem. I don't know why you wouldn't see the the update in the app store, maybe a Bluestacks issue, but it is needed.
You could try reinstalling the game, or going to the app store from a direct link like this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinyco.potter&hl=en_en
Or if you need to, find an upload of it somewhere else at your own discretion.
I'm kind of stunned at people remarks about the optional cost of item's in this game.
If anyone played FG: The quest for Stuff
People would know in advance how greedy JamCity/TinyCo can get, (TinyCo now owned by JC)!
The family guy game totally put me off paying for Virtual Trash! (Which has no value).
OMG, I did the exact same thing, but in Ravenclaw colors and with the brown wristband. I even have the same cat skin out at the moment😆
Dear JC,
as you surely know, since you have notebooks in every colors under the sun, clothes can also be made in shades that aren’t pinks and baby blues. Can you maybe, perhaps, kindly stop it?
A not-five-years-old-girl costumer.

(God, that's even worse than the birthday cake blue dress🤣)
I like to change outfit pretty often. It’s funny, because in RL I couldn’t care less about clothes, but in games I always want my characters to look fashionable 😂
I usually go with my mood, or I try to fit the season or the story. For example, if my MC is just sitting in her dorm stacking energy for pets, she wears her pajamas. I try to use the items I won in the various events, unless I totally dislike them. Sometimes, if an item is kind of too flashy for me, I go for a outrageous outfit for a couple of days just to have fun. Like when they gave us the pale blue haircut, I dressed her like this. I was doing the knight sidequest at the time, so it was fitting since >!she was going to reopen the ice vault!<. I know, I found amusement in silly things…
You can play on an Android emulator such as Bluestacks.
https://www.bluestacks.com/apps/adventure/harry-potter-hogwarts-mystery-on-pc.html
Supposedly you can also play through Facebook games, though I've heard that it doesn't work that well and have seen a lot of players reporting problems getting updates, etc.
Tbh I haven't bothered with CleanSweep this time round - the new furniture set, although I love the intention with the Pride theme and the pastel multi-colours, looks too much like a kid's Care Bear room to me, and so the remaining books on offer as reward are not worth the grind of repetitive Quidditch matches, and the endless cut scenes.
Also example for funsies: https://www.ecosia.org/images?q=kids%20rooms%20themed%20care%20bears#id=2247942D990F6357415CA0F30197CAAEDB3F96AD Please tell me the rainbow with the clouds isn't the exact same as the entire bed design 😂
I also may be biased because I have too many friends having kids right now, and am naturally seeing a resemblance to things in my usual life, so please ignore my comment if you genuinely like this bedroom set, the game is designed for everyone to enjoy across different tastes :)
Your post was removed because it is not directly relevant to the Hogwarts Mystery game.
I suggest you ask the Bluestacks community about the 30 fps lock. While I understand you are trying to get Bluestacks to work for HPHM, the issue with Bluestacks isn't directly related to HPHM.
Here's a potential solution for you. Make sure your drivers are updated, that you're using the right version of Bluestacks (64bit, etc.) and see whether your device supports it.
Maybe download bluestacks on your pc/laptop (download here) if you have one and play the event on there until it is fixed.. but you should contact the developers indeed 😓 if you downloaded bluestacks you can download the game from there, but because the game isn't built for pc/laptop it will be slower
Artbreeder is a program that, in this particular case, allows a user to transform a picture of an in-game character into a more realistic character. So from my in-game picture (2nd picture), I was able to create a more realistic picture (1st picture)
There are two main settings that you use for this sort if thing, Chaos and Art. You can also play around with Gender, Earrings, and a bunch of other settings to your heart’s content.
You can find it here: https://artbreeder.com/ It's not a mobile app, but a website that lets you play with pictures. It requires registration, but you can upload five pictures for free and I haven't found any limits on how many you create.
The way artbreeder works... many different people, most of whom have never existed. I haven't subscribed, so I get a super limited amount of pictures I can upload. So I've been using random pictures that are already in there.
Here is the "lineage" of the pic, if you want to see how crazy it is. :-) https://artbreeder.com/lineage?k=59a4cfcdba6345baa2ff
Sure! I use Video Collage Maker from Momentic Apps
