Hey guys! A little explainer here. (Also idk how Reddit works and what awards mean but thanks a lot!)
This will probably get lost but here's my answer regarding Korra's complexion:
>the AI is only trained to reproduce the races white, black, asian and latino. And the images you can use are limited because the AI isn’t that good at face recognition. Same story with Korra’s complexion, I would have made it darker but the AI would have recalculated her race [and many other features] as well.
It's not my AI, you can access it at artbreeder.com. For now it's a challenge in itself to get a clear image so skin tones and literally everything else can go haywire if you set any values too low or too high. Everything you see, including the hair, was AI-generated so don't expect 100% control over the results.
So there's also no point telling me about the stuff that's off because I can't fix it LMAO. I'm glad y'all liked the images though!

Artbreeder. Easy to get into. I uploaded the source images and made them public, so you can mix & match if you'd like. Uploaded a Forsen source image as well. Search for 'forsen', 'drdisrespect', and 'pastorlul' there if you want to give it a go (or upload your own images, there's a queue though).
Just find a portrait you want to edit, then click 'crossbreed' on the top right menu to select a 2nd portrait. There's endless options for mixing face shapes & styles.
For anyone interested: https://artbreeder.com/browse
I just found out about this website, and I'm having a lot of fun just clicking around to get the portrait as closely as possible to my imagination. It's really easy once you've got the hang of it, so just try it for yourself if you have an hour or so to get a screenshot uploaded!
Actually, they wouldn't need to pay artists at all to make new PFPs. All the PFPs thus far were generated on Artbreeder. Also, before the premium-exclusive "Survival Mode" was removed, there were a couple of unique PFPs to get from it, one being (presumably) an orc. Still, I agree. There really should be more unique PFPs.
That GAN artbreeder.com - I think its the same thing under the hood as RunwayML though.
Its hard to say where I think things are heading, though tools certainly seem to be getting more pre-packaged. My first forays into machine learning were actually for the HTIF mixtape which was really fun. I preferred working in that way on my own machine rather than on a cloud service.
you can only upload so many faces with a free account :( , and some characters just don't work (eugene is not good https://artbreeder.com/i?k=0c2acdf40a8ab0a8b85a) . I have a pretty nice nino though it still needs refinement, and never really posted anything on reddit. Some characters (Like Mel and Gladys) don't need this done because the real people they're based on look exactly like the characters (this demo reel for the person gladys' model is based on for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRTdMJEn3C0 )
I'm using CLIP to basically search the parameters of BigGAN to make the image I want. CLIP is something made by OpenAI, where it identifies images about how close they are to a certain text, or it tries to identify the text of that image. It basically starts from a random BigGAN image, and then messes with the parameters until it ends up to something close to the text. (artbreeder.com has good examples of the parameters I'm talking about)
I made two versions of younger Clem too, you can see them here at the top. Please improve upon them if you're bored. This website is super fun and a big timewaster...
Yeah, I tried to pull away from it, but it's the beard and hair. You should see some of the early iterations before I lightened his hair.
Have any of y'all played around with https://artbreeder.com/create to make fan-art of popular fics on here? I was quite impressed with these realizations (from >!Avatar: The Legend of Korra!<; see if you can guess who they are! credit to riverfollower712) and it seems like a pretty low barrier-to-entry way for authors and fans alike to generate imagery to accompany their stories, specifically wrt to "landscapes", "portraits", and "characters".
I created this on ArtBreeder.com which is powered by pure BMF.
Also, here is a still image of his mummy, and this is what A.I. believes His Divine Majesty Ramses II might look like today if he had a social media account and a gig.
Generated by Artbreeder. At /u/Zephyr_F8's suggestion, this one was a pretty straightforward alteration of blue-haired Chloe. I made her slightly younger and a little less depressed with a lighter background.
Max is next.
As an artist, I’m just going to say that all of these are red flags as far as commissions go. I wouldn’t take OP as a client. An ideal client is “I want something that creates this specific vibe, but I want your creative interpretation”. That’s a good Client. The client who says “I have the perfect vision of the finished product, I just lack the SKILLS to realize it” is an expensive client, and a big waste of time.
If OP wants to create nice looking character designs and environments, while having zero skills, I recommend artbreeder.com
Https://Depart.io can do that. You pick two pictures, and it will take the subject of one and paint it in the style of another. But OPs post looks real. Quickest way to tell is that paint strokes follow the shape of the object, something only humans do. Also, if you zoom in, there aren't any of the artifacts you normally see.
Also, you might like Https://artbreeder.com uses the same technology for a totally different thing. Uses AI to create faces, landscapes and more that are totally adjustable.
Hi! My favorite person to go to for artwork of locations is Jamesrpgart. He's got a patreon, and provides high and low res options for most of the major places players will see (he's still working on some). For a higher tier, you can also get animated gifs of his locations as well.
As for the Death House paintings, I might consider generating some stuffy nobles using artbreeder.com. Since you can always regenerate, it will give you options with slight differentiation each time, so different people, but similar looking enough to be related to one another.
Hope that helps!

I know this isn't a handy answer, but I've been stuck with the same issue for a bout a year. My solution was to compromise. I use artbreeder.com to make beautiful alien landscapes (here's an example) and character portraits for my players to use as a visual reference whilst I describe what's happening. When it comes to battlemaps I've just had to resort to piecing together textures from Google Images using roll20.
Good luck and please let me know if you find any good resources
I so far I created 2 genes: One is creating headscarves (and deleting bodies) and the other is giving portraits a green skin and dark her for my Orc and Ephaba needs. It really depends on what you try to achieve. I tried to create a gene that would make any portrait look directly at the camera and failed miserably....
So it's a start. Unfortunately the software gets rid of pigtails but I can see someone with photoshop skills taking it further after getting the likeness down more.
first google image for lorenz and Kanye in artbreeder.com

edit: I put the first image in art breeder.com
edit2: lorenz is the official render.
For the artwork itself, you might want to consider using Artbreeder. You can generate your own images there by AI-breeding other images.
The rules reminders are a different story. You might want to check this post for ideas if you do make your own, or perhaps the Quick Rules from Paizo (although it's worth checking if they don't require updating in any way).

This character has been totally fun to play. Each day she wakes up another version of herself with different Personality Traits & Flaws. So far I've only played her Autumn and Winter versions but I'm looking forward to playing the other two.
She often refers to herself as "we." Autumn is a little naive and took the name "Arcadia" as some human called her it. Winter is more cold, uncaring, and no nonsense. Spring will be playful and Summer full of fury.
She's a Celestial Warlock and doesn't quite know much about her patron or really where her powers originate. Maybe one of her versions knows and keeps it from the others?
Edit: I used https://artbreeder.com/ to create the portraits. I'm quite impressed with the tool!
>The only way I see this becoming an issue for furries is if the AI generator could be tweaked to create fursonas with specific species, color, gender, and possibly style.
As a matter of fact it can, at least in theory. Check out artbreeder.com for an example of what that would look like. It's not nearly as intuitive as you'd want it to be but it's there. There also exist other networks (i.e. not stylegan, which is what 90% of "thisXdoesntexist" projects use) that allow you more control at the cost of being more reliant on specific source material. That's today's tech but most of the biggest breakthroughs have happened within the past few years. It's an emerging and rapidly accelerating field. Machine learning really is coming for the masses of essentially interchangeable contract artists and it's a fascinating thing to watch.
>nearly made her human lol
No offense but you should have used Artbreeder.com + Faceapp then. It has the power to transform a screenshot/drawing into a real looking human.
Most of these are free, for anyone interested
And of course the card engine is also free: http://dbzer0.com/projects/godot-card-game-framework/
Alternative. Go to artbreeder.com and figure out how to use the tools to make an accurate face lol. And repeat step 2. And if it doesn't work, give up. You're gonna be weird if you take it too far or make an obsession out of it. Snap out of it.
I didn't train it, I'm using CLIP to basically search the parameters of BigGAN to make the image I want. CLIP is something made by OpenAI, where it identifies images about how close they are to a certain text, or it tries to identify the text of that image. It basically starts from a random BigGAN image, and then messes with the parameters until it ends up to something close to the text. (artbreeder.com has good examples of the parameters I'm talking about)
Something else you can try is loading your images into artbreeder.com. Same concept, but it lets you tweak the DNA of the face. It uses 'style transfer,' so you can essentially drop in your art, and move the 'art' slider to the right in order to produce a realistic image.
Nice! I have created an Orc gene on Artbreeder just to be able to Fjordify pictures to get to something like this! *lol*
Nice creations!
The "key" is the number that is in the URL (address) for a web page when you edit your image. Take this web page URL for example:
https://artbreeder.com/i?k=a8ff0737de26d908a929d4f0
In the above, the key is this: a8ff0737de26d908a929d4f0
I use ArtBreeder in a browser window on my laptop, where it is easy to copy and paste the browser page's URL. Grabbing the URL from a cell phone browser is sometimes a little bit more finicky.
It is kind of a pain, but you can use breeding to get rid of this image artifact. Here is an example lineage of mine that shows how it can be done:
https://artbreeder.com/lineage?k=9cfc7539ce1b125cdcddee6d2112
You can retain the Style, but you have to allow the Face to be changed. I make a bunch of variations of the original portrait, and then keep those that have less of the problem. I breed those together in a second round, also keeping those with the least problem. Repeat until done.
If you're looking for humanoids this is an excellent resource for Tulpas and character building in general. You can peruse what others have made or modify your own images, and the best part is none of the images are real people. This is how we came up with Aila's form. We also use it to generate D&D characters all the time.
These look great! My only complaints would be I think Shallan looks a bit too old, maybe a couple ticks down on the age slider, and a few of the Kholins could use brighter eyes. Though I've been playing around with ArtBreeder a lot this last week, and I know how hard putting bright eyes on faces with Asian features is.
This was the Shallan I came up with that I was the most happy with.
I made this using something called Artbreeder, which is basically an AI which lets you combine faces and prexisting art into something new. I have NOT drawn this, but have used the AI to create these
Not yet, though the original intent was to highlight some spots that DMs might wish to name for their campaigns. I had meant to have the name list, but got totally sidetracked over the weekend by artbreeder.com. Definitely a cool thing to check out. ;)
Great stuff! My Chrysalis Conch and your Sea Parrot make a pretty neat looking Space Flower.
I made this gross blob a while back, it's nice.
I also like making "rooms" with "things" in it
I call this thing a sea parrot
A lot of people use it just for the portraits which are cool, but I still love the old Ganbreeder "general" generator. Can create some really trippy stuff from natural and household objects, not just faces.
Look at ArtBreeder.com - You have to be careful though, an AI created portrait from a copywritten source might still be a bad idea. But they have other stuff that's AI from non-copywritten sources. The ability to upload your own pictures and morph them with painterly styles is really amazing. The ability to create landscapes from AI is cool too.
Not surprising. It's quite easy to create AI fake faces with something like artbreeder.com although that's probably not what they used. Yet another good reason to take everything you see on the internet with a grain of salt.
Not exclusively for sims. You can generate new pics or put a photo of yourself and it'll make an 'art' version of it. I usually use it to make my sims hyper-realistic. Why not check it out?
PortraitAI was pretty interesting, so I thought I'd give realism a go! I used Artbreeder to make my legacy heirs look more realistic, and honestly, I'm pretty impressed with how they turned out.
Although not included in the main image (since he's not an heir and all), I also did Canada, Stirling's brother, and his boyfriend Louis.
Also got to admit, I think my low key crush on Stirling just became high-key... 😂
Unfortunately, the site didn't play well with my Romulan's forehead details or neck scar and smoothed them out, but... I'm still happy with the results. Here's a link to the site if any of you are interested in trying it for yourself: https://artbreeder.com/

Thank you! I don’t deserve much credit as an “artist”, though; this is all just the result of me messing around with ArtBreeder. In fact, even the idea of using it to colorise ancient busts comes from u/Autow’s colorisation of a bust of Caracalla.
This is ganbreeder, an AI that takes two source images and combines them to create something completely unique and sylized. There's a free version based in your browser at artbreeder.com. As for blending them side by side, I just used photoshop and the healing brush tools.
This may be a long shot but you said you are not talented at drawing at all ... so maybe something like Artbreeder would be the right tool for you. You can upload your own pictures and the results can be made more cartoony or realistic. It may be confusing at first but you need zero drawing or painting talent to get great results.
https://artbreeder.com/new_portraits
The portraits section of Artbreeder received an update about a week or two ago which makes portraits much more detailed than the portraits that we've known until now. The problem is, the new and the old versions are incompatible.
I do not know which site it might be, but if you want to get inspired by pictures from a website which generates wonky images, then I recommend artbreeder.com.
Google deep dream is a similar site; you have to upload a base picture and a style picture, and the site's ai will generate the base picture with the style picture's style.
None. Robots like the ones you posted to help artists manufacture things, but the concept comes from the artist's mind, and often takes significant work to communicate it to the machine. So if you aren't an artist, a robot alone will not help you. You also need a creative mind and probably some computer skills.
Now, AI software is arguably becoming creative. For example www.wombo.art and artbreeder.com can create interesting things almost automatically by combining styles and features of existing images. I think the closest thing to what you are looking for would be to use a tool like that to make images, and make those into physical items using a robot. The robot is most likely a high quality printer, but maybe an embroidering machine or something. The fact that it's machine-made could be a selling point, so there is no need to lie about it.
But seriously, figure out what you like to do, get better at it, and use it to make money. Scamming IS ITSELF like art, and generally requires a high IQ and creativity. People who run sophisticated cons have to invent and build things like phishing sites, robo-callers, and card skimmers; or else use psychological means to "hack" people's minds. I can see from your history that you are not clever enough for anything like that.
Well, if it's a human character, I go to Artbreeder.com and mash two portraits together into what I think best represents the character.
I describe that to the reader, usually trying to not get too bogged down with the details (because that's boring and unnecessary). If my readers are especially curious, I will link to the Artbreeder portrait.

So even if you were to buy one, you don't own any exclusive rights to it.
I was in an online Call of Cthulhu game a year or so back. Our DM made character portraits for all of the NPCs using Art Breeder. It helped a lot with the immersion to be able to put a face to a name.
No randomly generated, not randomly drawn. Search up a random terrain generator, see if it generates anything you like. You could also try using something like Artbreeder.com to get some AI generated and customizable landscape photos.
For the past few weeks, r/ArtBreeder. Seriously, I must have churned out at least a thousand images by now, and I’m just getting started. What started off as curiosity quickly blew up into an obsession the likes of which my artistic side has never seen since my stint as a pixel artist back in high school.
In case anyone’s interested, my profile can be found here.
Yeah, there is some Sinister Valley effect, because neural network made it. Artbreeder, if someone interested.
What can i say, that it is powerful tool to create portraits, but therefore its neural network, so they are not perfect. I think someone can create an entire submod for portraits made by this Computer.
Is this a human character? Because if it is, you might try artbreeder.com. You can meld portraits together to create a wholly unique portrait. It was fantastic for finally putting faces to some of my characters.
Just started making genes yesterday. Here’s some of mine.
I made one for elf ears but it makes the hair shorter. Couldn’t find enough images with elf ears and long hair, but I may keep trying and make another version.
Did some blue hair/eyes and pink hair/eyes and an alien one.
This is easier, now that custom genes have been added.
You can try out some of my custom genes, Curly Hair, Long Hair, and Bald:
https://artbreeder.com/gturk1#genes
If anyone else has created custom genes for hair, I hope you will share them here!
I have a fix for this!
I made a custom gene that I call "Smear Top". If you use the gene on a regular portrait, it causes this smearing at the top. If you start with a smeared portrait and use the gene with a negative value, it gets rid of the smear. Unfortunately it can distort the face somewhat, so it is not perfect.
You can try it out by adding the custom gene from the bottom my genes page:
https://artbreeder.com/gturk1#genes
Please let me know if it works for you.
My edit / creation was originally posted on r/aifreakout some time ago before someone reposted it here. If you want to have a go at editing it or making ‘children’ with it on artbreeder please head here
Nope. I just used this website (artbreeder.com). Much easier than creating something from scratch. The AI mixes the portraits of your choice and you can play with settings to get what you want. It is fun, but if you want something really accurate, you need to add some touches with photoshop or any other editing software.
This was sorta difficult lol. I used Morphs picture that they posted for a start since it really wasn’t too far off. Heck I thought it looked pretty good. It’s pretty difficult and time consuming to do this especially when the picture isn’t from a high quality upload lol. Not sure if it’s good enough but here’s mine
The easiest way to make a male with long-hair I found was to give them facial hair. Though that can result in them kinda looking like Jesus. Here's my one, if you're curious.
Bringing in portraits like this one could help (if you don't want to add a beard) as it has a very masculine face, but the long hair still, so the AI is unlikely to try and remove the hair.
From ArtBreeder Terms of Service:

So it would appear OP can only release these under CC0.
Just because they claim to be Copywrite free doesn't mean all those Trump/Hitler mashups are fair game for publishing houses.
I think you are safe for any of the monster mashups in the "general" category.
For example, this "pineapple" I made is a great monster face, but almost certainly contains fragments of copywritten pictures of real pineapples. I will use the picture and have no fear.
Artbreeder.com
..Or as I like to call it: Aphex Twin simulator.
https://artbreeder.b-cdn.net/imgs/17c1d77aeed8883ad9f9.jpeg
it's an image made with artbreeder. Basically what a cutting-edge AI thinks a normal room looks like.
The website also lets you work with the AI to make faces and concept art and album covers and some other stuff.
Artbreeder is an interactive tool to create images by morphing existing AI images together, which then again can be morphed to form something new. Images can also be altered by using different 'genes'.
About Artbreeder: https://artbreeder.com/about
Well for me, I don't base my character fan art off of the images of that character that I upload. I use the images that I, or the community, have already made to slowly build up the character from scratch.
Artbreeder is a huge database of portraits, so a lot of times it's just a matter of combining different photos and seeing what works.
I'll occasionally use whatever messed up character art mess that I upload to get closer to the general style, but only very little of it, or I have it mixed in with several versions of the character that I made solely with existing ArtBreeder images, and then I'll mix in the images I made from that, and tweak and adjust as needed, and repeat the process until I get the images I want. It's a lot of experimentation, but it helps if you know how the sliders work.
It can take a long time, but the results are worth it, as they can get a lot more accurate with this method.
That being said, the image you see here did not take that long. I made this version of Katara in an hour or two, if I remember correctly, and I didn't actually use any photos that were specific to Katara. I mainly just crossbred with images I or other people had uploaded/created, and tweaked as needed. Here's the lineage for the image you commented on:
https://artbreeder.com/lineage?k=6f143e9e3b5cf438ff9b
It turned out that this was a very early rough draft in a pretty neat long term project. Here's one of my latest portraits of Katara that I made a few days ago.
Here's the lineage for this photo:
https://artbreeder.com/lineage?k=8424d4fb4b8343cbb3cba0e4
The big difference is that, by this point, I'm mixing in several different versions of Katara at the same time (using the Compose tool in artbreeder), in order to get new or interesting combinations, and then I tweaked sliders and crossbreed the new images to get what I want.
These are made through already generated images, that have been tweaked and cross-bred multiple times until you are satisfied with the result. I did not get a picture of a character, lol, I just made these images through already existing images on Artbreeder until they looked like the character! For example, check out the lineage of my Nidhogg. You can see all the different images that made it up, from me or not. (it stretches back even further but it only goes so far)
Artbreeder is a program that, in this particular case, allows a user to transform a picture of an in-game character into a more realistic character. So from my in-game picture (2nd picture), I was able to create a more realistic picture (1st picture)
There are two main settings that you use for this sort if thing, Chaos and Art. You can also play around with Gender, Earrings, and a bunch of other settings to your heart’s content.
The upload suggestion is good. Here's another thing you can try. Find an image that has very green eyes. Here's an example: https://artbreeder.com/i?k=35d5f4723da9960c56c6
Mix the two images, keeping your face all the way on the left side of the bar and mix in the style of the other image until you get the green you want, then use the hair/ethnicity sliders to get the rest of the style back to where you want it.
Artbreeder is an AI tool, that can mix images.
It gets really weird and creepy, really fast. I played around with a hamster and combined it with a friggin cigarette machine and the results were as Eldritch as it gets.
May be helpful.
Here's a link if you wanna breed it: https://artbreeder.com/i?k=0516082fd0323f57b5f2
Just a heads up, it's the old portraits model, so you can only breed it with other portraits of that model.
/u/jazzastudios suggested posting on Reddit to share new art AIs. Artbreeder is like most Face Apps but with -1 to 1 sliders of many different things. Artbreeder takes a small learning curve on how to make things great but after you can make some good stuff.
I would recommend if you use it to crossbreed with an almost identical life shot. This is better then turning "art" into "real life" using the provided slider. Then you can alter what style you want to use.
The Stock Photo looks like it was AI generated.

Yours is way better than mine. I could not figure out how to get any blonde without wrecking the face. Yours is great!

Just so you know, while there's definitely some skill in getting good results, Artbreeder is a deep learning program that generates faces (and other things) based on your guidance. It doesn't involve any actual painting or drawing on the part of the user.
Artbreeder is an machine learning AI app. I don't fully understand how it works, as I'm not any kind of computer science person, but basically it has been trained to take and morph pictures enough that it can generate images semi-randomly.
By morphing an image several different ways, then having a human selectin which one is closer to what they want and feeding that image back into the program to repeat, we can generate pictures pretty close to what we want. Honestly, if you're curious, I'd recommend just messing around the app.
I find I'm mostly into the portraits, and using really bright colors. Don't really care about realism as much. Most of the photos tend to not have much of an expression, so I also like to try to capture some emotions if I can - but there's a balance there too given the source material. Glasses are cool. Hair is cool.
The new landscape stuff is fun too though. Here's my profile if interested. I recognize your id and I'm pretty sure I've worked with some of your source images. https://artbreeder.com/bellydrop
Here is my take. I will let you know that I did not use the reference photo which I think made it come out a lot better. https://i.imgur.com/eFi3AH8.png
Technical info for other editors: How did I get such a realistic pair of eyes? I used a machine learning tool used for art called Artbreeder. Cool thing about artbreeder is you can see the lineage of edits that happen, so here is the lineage of how I turned her eyes closed to open. There is a slider when working with artbreeder for "eyesopen", it is a finicky beast but once you conquer how to use artbreeder you slowly make new renders that are similar but not exactly the same person. From there I just masked everything except the eyes and then used a Curves and Hue/Sat adjustment layers to get the exact levels. I also added a slight bit of noise to add to the jpeg quality.
Hi, everyone! This is my first post on this sub, but I've been a huge avatar fan for years. I remember watching it weekly as a kid as each new episode came out, and I recently did a full rewatch with my nephew a few months ago. Anyways, I've been using artbreeder for about 8 months now, and I saw on the Artbreeder discord that this subreddit recently discovered Artbreeder, so I thought I'd give it a shot!
Anyways, here's my take on Katara. No hair loopies unfortunately, but I felt like everything else was spot on. Getting her blue eyes right was TOUGH, but I wanted to include all aspects of Katara, so I did a bunch of work to make it happen. Since the Water Tribe is based on the Inuit people, I used some pictures of some Inuit people in the creation process, but ultimately I wanted to prioritize keeping my version of Katara close to her show counterpart.
Anyways, you can find the Artbreeder page for the image right here, if you want to take a look.

Well, you could always try rateyourmusic.com for album covers, they have just about everything. Or even browsing Bandcamp might help.
This may not be interesting or what you want, but Artbreeder has a mode where it generates album covers using a neural network. Some of the things it comes up with are really cool, it might be worth a shot.
Oee heel interessant! Ken je toevallig Artbreeder? Ben het laatst tegen gekomen, maar super tof voor inspiratie of een ruwe start voor het genereren van landschappen/karakters/vehicles.
This image was not hand-drawn, but I've created it using a machine-learning based tool called ArtBreeder, so I hope it still qualifies as OC. Here is a link if someone wants to give it a go and breed something else off it.

Accidentally creating existing characters is half the fun. Yesterday I've made Schweikart and Lalo from Better Call Saul while randomly breeding some portraits.
