Tolkien was very much not a fan of Nazis, so he probably would not exactly be well regarded by the Nazis. I’m not a developer though, so take that with a grain of salt.
"gorilla warfare"
reminds me of this book

That was also the reason why Alexander II (Alexander III and Nicholas II's [Yeah, that Nicholas] predecessor) was assassinated, to advance Anarchy.
Whether the assassins succeeded or not... depends on how similar/different you think Anarchy and Chaos are from each other.
I actually wrote an, admittedly mediocre, alternate history novel, called Impact where in the early part of the book, features a revanchist Russian Federation in 2017 invading the Western United States in a surprise attack as a feint to draw American forces away from Europe, the People's Republic of China, and Eastern Europe while simultaneously nuking Los Angeles with an SS-25 nuclear missile as a form of area denial.
The United States responds by nuking St. Petersburg, and no further nuclear exchanges occur.
The rest of the war is more or less fought conventionally, albeit with the fear of the war turning into a global thermonuclear war at any time.
The Commonwealth of
United Soviet Federate States(someone took the United Soviet Federation and was inactive so i had to improvise)
tbh to avoid the potential controversy, devs could use those ai face generators or whatever I'm on board with it because it'll keep things interesting, instead of the boring old same politicians with the occasional underdog
Panzer, je peux vous aider avec les traductions Française! Je viens du Canada! Tout le monde parlons Française ici!
As well, if you're struggling with German, Italian, or Spanish, try WordReference.com. It helps with single words, less so with grammar. And take care of yourself, man! The incessant ree-ing in discord shouldn't cause you this much mental strain.
Yeah, there is some Sinister Valley effect, because neural network made it. Artbreeder, if someone interested.
What can i say, that it is powerful tool to create portraits, but therefore its neural network, so they are not perfect. I think someone can create an entire submod for portraits made by this Computer.
>I am not sure if they are only 20th century constructs.
I'm not saying samurai didn't existed nor warrior code were modern invention nor medieval Japan was ruled by common people. And I'm pretty sure there were serfs paying taxes to their lords, yes.
But that's not 'tradition' nor 'idea' you are talking about, no, for example the Edo Era samurais as the ruling class were more of Confucianist bureaucrats than warriors, and bushido traditions revered by the 20th century militarist crowd indeed were as I pointed out modern fabrication while the aristocracy with a few exception were hit hard by the 1920s economic crash and mostly defanged by the 1940s. As to "serfs blindly obeying their feudal lords" there are literally a few thousands recorded cases of peasant uprisings throughout the Edo Era and every single case of them defies the supposed 'tradition' you are talking about, so well.
It's Japanese history so obviously there are more resources in Japanese than English, but there's this book called Inventing the Way of the Samurai and a thought invoking review on the book so maybe it could be an interesting read.
I actually recognize the format this is based on! It's done in the style of the DK Definitive Visual History books. They're not really textbooks though, more like the kind of book a casual reader would get from Barnes and Noble. Here's the World War 1 book for reference:
They are amazing books for getting a broad overview of the different aspects of particular wars. I've actually always wondered what an alternate history book done in this style would look like, and I think OP nailed it.
Well I have given the short in that. Additionally the Völkisch movement and Himmler personally were involved in the German Wandervogel movement which emphasized the connection of the Germans to nature and opposed industrialization while also promoting veganism, homeopathy and other forms of alternative/natural medicine that Himmler believed in too. The goal of this movement was the "reform of life".
Himmler was also a disciple of Helena Blavatsky, a Russian emigre who theorized that the Aryans had once possessed mystic abilities such as telepathy. According to Himmler around 77% of Germans were of this Aryan stock and could be fully Aryanized in 150 years. This was one of the bits of research conducted by the SS Race and Resettlement office.
Heinrich Himmler - by Peter Longerich is a a decent biography of the man while Bill Yenne's - Hitler's Master of Dark Arts focuses more on his weird esoteric beliefs and influences.
I only read the Sharf section of the book since there's such little information out there on the man, its probably worth a look through since it compiles pretty much all the info we have on Yockey, from his FBI files to personal letters all in one place, the first few hundred pages were free when I used it but I just checked and it seems they've taken them off now, so if you want to read it you'd have to buy it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yockey-Fascist-Odyssey-Kerry-Bolton/dp/1912079151. Junger and Scharf are definitely the same person it seems, especially since one of Scharf's aliases was Benjamin Younger although how Bolton found this out is a mystery. It's why I'd be really interesting in acquiring a copy of his tape to see if we could get an insight into his personality.
