It is not only the banishment of federal prisons and armed forces, but it is also the abolishment of the state and currency itself.
Anarcho-capitalism is not leftist or anarchist, so definitely stay away from that garbage.
Some great anarchist texts are available in full at the Anarchist Library. And there’s Audible Anarchist on YouTube.
My recs: Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin and Anarchy Works by Gelderloos. You should also read Emma Goldman, George Orwell, Howard Zinn, Rudolf Rocker, and George Woodcock.
Oh and off reddit, the anarchist library is a great resource
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
If you find anarchist socialism unrealistic (then read Are We Good Enough by Kropotkin) then
> How are we supposed to overthrow the hierarchical society when the majority of the people is against a revolution?
We don't. That's why we need to convince people of our cause.
For the rest I recommend looking through this sub, filtering by top posts of all time. You'll surely find answers to this, as these questions are asked very frequently.
Here you can see the recommended works. Here you can filter for ancom literature specifically. As one user already pointed out: "The Conquest of Bread" is a nice start, even if a bit dated, it gives a good overview. I strongly recommend David Graeber's "Debts" and "Bullshitjobs", not specifically theory about how to achieve anarchism or what it looks like but about the status quo and why certain things are how they are, from the perspective of an anarchist. Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent" is also very popular amongst anarchists, for good reason as it explains the media and their role. I think you can find all of it on "The Anarchist Library" (also linked in the sidebar of the sub).
Thats why I really reccomend reading some anarchist works by folks like Emma Goldman. Even if you are not an anarchist, the "common-man" tone of it all, and its emphasis on accessibility is really refreshing compared to philosophy. I'm someone who has a degree in public policy and I absolutely hate most political philosophers but anarchism really resonates with me.

Hmm, if you want to dive straight into literature the library Is your best friend. Common recommendations are Petyr Kropotkin, Mikail Bakunin, and Murray Bookchin. You can sort by author on the main list.(And true to any leftist theory I'll have somebody saying they're problematic in some way, but what isn't?)
I personally started with "The Conquest of Bread" by Kropotkin. It's definitely dated, but it's aged pretty well all things considered.
> Is anarchism extremely misrepresented in the media
Yes. TVTropes calls it 'bomb-throwing anarchists.' Media focuses only on the violence and ignores the rest of anarchist thought or practice. Anarchism is also depicted as being only chaos, again, without engaging with anarchist thought. One of the exceptions is The Dispossessed, by Ursula K. Le Guin.
Anarchism is anti-hierarchy. Given that capitalism and private property create and reinforce hierarchy (especially when capital uses government to inflict violence against the workers and the marginalized to protect its own interests), anarchism necessarily opposes both.
Easiest way to find anarchist writings is through The Anarchist Library.

Here are some sites with free leftist literature. The common recommendations are Lenin's "state and revolution" and Kropotkin's "conquest of bread". Dont try to read Das Kapital as a starter, even tho its pretty much is the foundation of this whole thing, you will literally have a heart attack and die. Listen to the podcast "marx madness" about it instead, waaay easier

Some people think Bookchin sucks, but I think he's a good place to start. Post-Scarcity Anarchism is great. You also have Chomsky, but he's not really an anarchist so much as a libertarian socialist who sort of approaches issues with an anarchist lens. Lawrence Jarach's a somewhat controversial anarchist because of his post-leftist theory, but I haven't read him outside of an essay somebody linked me.
Here's a good resource for anarchist writings: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
Love the book, although for many I think it's not a good place to start with anarchist theory. It kind of gets passed around as such because of its overwhelming popularity, but it's a bit dry these days and doesn't really outline anarchist thought the way a beginner might need. So for anyone interested I would recommend instead: Malatesta's Anarchy or At the Cafe, Anarchism and Other Essays by Emma Goldman, and Anarchism and Its Aspirations by Cindy Milstein (really good modern introduction). Any of those will be good introductions and are quite easy reads, and all are available for free in the anarchist library! Additionally check out the anarchist FAQ available in the library (and in paperback form, it's very long) as a resource for any questions you might have, or check out r/Anarchy101 for a very beginner friendly space to ask questions, it's even helpful for more advanced learners as well with more complicated questions (although as with all places try not to be an ass about things)!
I don't know of any off the top of my head that are written sorry specifically for young people, but I started with Errico Malatesta's An Anarchist Programme
You can read or download any file type for almost any anarchist writing at the Anarchist Library org website
I have to add, I've also learned a lot from Zoe Baker, a YouTuber they goes by anarchopac. She is excellent and well informed seems like an understatement. She wrote a thesis on Anarchism and hopefully we'll get to read it in the Anarchist library site soon if it's not already up
The Anarchist Library is probably the largest, with related sites in a variety of languages. Lidiap contains links to many of the anarchist periodicals available online. My Libertarian Labyrinth archive focuses on early anarchist history, with lots of resources related to mutualism and anarchist synthesis.
If anyone wants suggestions...
Capitalist Realism - Mark Fischer
Das Kapital - big daddy Marx.
Black Skin White Masks - Frantz Fanon
17 Contradictions and the End of Capitalism - David Harvey
The Society of the Specticle - Guy Debord
The Conquest of Bread & Organised Vengeance Called Justice - both by Peter Kropotkin
and a lot more can be found for free here: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
One thing I can recommend is the Anarchist Libarx. It has many free books and litarutore. Also what I can recommend, but isn't a book but a Video, is this this viseo and its follow ups.
Emma Goldman has a few things to say about markets… I’m not the most read so I can’t recommend anything in particular but giving a search of markets and feminism in the anarchist library gives a few pages of search results.
Here's a list of anarchist work compiled by r/Anarchy101
https://www.reddit.com/r/Anarchy101/wiki/canon
Most of this stuff you can also probably find on the Anarchist Library
Recommending texts on this subject is a fairly vast undertaking, but I'll give you a few starting places.
First, to add to your above list, Marx's "Capital" is, to my mind, a better text for understanding the complexity of Marxist thought. I would go to that next, for communism.
I'll recommend a number of anarchist texts, as well. Emma Goldman's "Anarchism and Other Essays" is a classic that is well loved in the States, but I prefer Kropotkin's "Conquest of Bread" for early anarchist thought. I'll say little more about the subject, as I can point you to The Anarchist Library where you can access these and numerous other volumes for free. Much anarchist thought will also touch on libertarianism, communism, and post-Leftism.
Now, for classical liberalism - "Wealth of Nations" by Adam Smith, published in 1776, is a good starting point as well as Locke and Rousseau. I'm not overly fond of Hobbes, but his "Leviathan" is considered a classic, here. You may also want to check out the Federalist Papers.
Mein Kampf is in my opinion not particularly useful in understanding fascism. I would turn to writings by Mussolini and the other Italian fascists if you want to delve into that territory.
Should you want to ask about any system, author, or time period I'd be happy to provide more specific recommendations.
Well, there's the anarchist library, which has an incredible wealth of information.
There are also youtubers like zoe baker who explain it all pretty well. Zoe is amazing and makes everything very clear and easy to understand, i think she goes by anarchopac on YouTube. She also has some good stuff on feminism.
Mostly, though, you can see it based on what they do, who the do it to, and who they do it for.
unironically it do be that way, but there's an entire online library of anarchist thought put together this way if you really want to sift through it all: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index

Wiki is just a place to start it's also very easy to pull up on the fly if you're looking for more in depth anarchist theory I recommend https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index it has just about everything you need to know
Off the top of my head: Nestor Makhno in Ukraine, Catalonia during the Spanish civil war, Rojava in Syria (although I’m not sure when they started organising around an anarchist model so might be too young), and the Zapatistas in Chiapas Mexico (although they do not use the label of anarchist and actively say they are not anarchist but something unique and their own). The anarchist library is an open source collection of anarchist writings, you can search it for any relevant information: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index Lots of documents here which you may find interesting. As to classic theory, others likely have more info than I do.
No, they are. I’ll leave a couple links and subreddits below if you want to learn about Anarchism. There are ancaps, but that’s just a stolen name, like how Nazis call themselves National Socialists. At its core, anarchism rejects all coercive hierarchy, so an ancap’s belief in corporatism, capitalism, etc is far from actual anarchist thought.
/r/COMPLETEANARCHY
/r/Anarchy101
Firstly, ignore the Communist Manifesto. It's outdated and essentially a piece of propaganda which serves more as a historical document than anything else.
"The Principles of Communism" by Friedrich Engels is essentially a communist FAQ
"Imperialism: The Highest Stage of Capitalism" by Vladimir Lenin for an understanding on international relations between capitalist nations.
"The State and Revolution" By Lenin if you want to understand Leninism
"The Conquest of Bread" By Peter Kropotkin if you want to understand Anarchism
I should note that in case you are unaware almost all socialist literature is available on Marxists.org and The Anarchist Library
There are socialists other than Marx- Louis Blanc was the socialist I alluded to.
Sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet so I'm choosing to take your genius comment entirely sincerely I hope you know.
"To each according to their need, from each according to their ability" should about sum it up. And I agree that it is genius, simple yet complete. As for how to reach communism without a state, /r/anarchism, /r/anarchy101 and https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index are all great sources. I recommend The Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin for a good piece on Anarchist Communism and Are We Good Enough by the same if you're unconvinced on the 'anarchist' bit of communism in particular.
Save your money. https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
Good Continuation of Markx is to read bakunin who had similar ideas but also critique some aspect of markx theory (mostly the authoritarian stuff).
Also Proudhon is a must to understand the anti-property aspects of Markx writing.
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index (free online library)
https://www.reddit.com/r/Anarchy101/wiki/canon (List of anarchist books)
If you wish for printed instead https://www.akpress.org/
If you wish to learn more about anarcho-communism good starting place to read is conquest of bread, Fields, Factories and Workshops is also good, Then I would suggest communist anarchism by Alexander Berkman, Anarchy by Errico Malatesta, Statism and Anarchy Mikhail Bakunin.
Also read what is property? by Pierre-Joseph Proudhon good starting place for anarchism and also mutualism.
Also check out libertarian socialist rants on youtube he is quite good.
Hiiii :)
Here you'll find virtually everything related to anarchist works https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
I recommend Emma Goldman's "Anarchy and other essays" And if you want a more personal experience you can always read her autobio "Living my life", which gives you a lot of insight on the early anarchist movement in the US, since she was right at the centre of it and lived with a lot of the most proeminent anarchists of the time :)
Also, read and listen to Noam Chomsky's essays and interviews on the subject of anarchism in modern society
Hope i helped!
The fuck people, No one talk about freaking Emma Goldman ?
She's absolutely fantastic to read, I highly suggest her autobiography "Living my Life" but you can find many text and books with this link
I would recommend going to The Anarchist Library and read some Anarchist literature. Most Anarchist literature have a decent explanation of why capitalism is bad. You can also go on Youtube and find some essay videos discussing the effects of capitalism.

Anarchy WorksAnarchy Works by Peter Gelderloos is my go to beginner book, but Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin is good if a little outdated, and I see Anarchy by Malatesta reccomended a lot as well though haven't read it.

I can't point you to a specific text as anarchism in general is pretty much about power structures, but you can check out the anarchist library. Anarchists I like personally are Emma Goldman, Rudolf Rocker, Errico Malatesta and the classic, Peter Kropotkin
If you speak any of the languages in the Anarchist Library’s options better than English, you might find it useful. If not, start with something more simple like Malatesta’s Anarchy or Kropotkin’s Conquest of Bread.
The languages in the Anarchist Library are: - Spanish - French - Swedish - Turkish - Polish - Russian - German - Dutch - Italian - Polish - Finnish - Danish
If you happen to speak any of these better than English, you’re in luck. This reminds me, however, that even if you aren’t, or you just want to know where to start, you can use this subreddit’s Anarchist Canon.

If your interest has been piqued at all please check out this website where you can learn a lot to hopefully broaden your intellect. I’d recommend starting with the Conquest of Bread by Kropotkin but if that’s a bit too much to take in at once there are a lot of shorter essays too. I’d suggest checking out some by Emma Goldman and Errico Malatesta.

Dude. Meme. Sub. I'm here to make fun of neoliberals and joke about eating the rich, not hold your hand while describing the psychosocial underpinnings of human power dynamics.
I have to go to work now. Go find someone in a more serious sub to answer your questions. Or, like, read a book or something.
This web site is a great resource : https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
Try searching for David Graeber on it, he has a lot of recent work of varied length.
There is also this entry to Britannica from 1919, which while not recent gives a historic snapshot of what you are looking for, the author is one of the leading historic anarchist thinkers.
The Anarchist FAQ. It's poorly edited in places and has a definite ancom slant, but it's comprehensive in all the topics it covers while still being easy to read. Each section can be read as a self-contained unit and has tons of references if you want more on the subject.
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/the-anarchist-faq-editorial-collective-an-anarchist-faq
Also the anarchist library in general
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index
Also a good idea to read up on history that's not necessarily leftist.
Find a radical space near where you live and start hanging out there http://slingshot.tao.ca/contacts/
Read a lot about anarchism - Good places to start are https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index and http://anarchism.pageabode.com/afaq/index.html
Get involved in any kind of protests/demos in your area, you will probably meet other anarchists there
If your friends aren't anarchists, try to convert them!
See if there are any other radical organizations in your area like a chapter of the Anarchist Black Cross or Food Not Bombs
If there isn't one, start one! Just because you are 16 doesn't mean you can't organize. I'm 17 and I work on tons of projects and am in collectives with people 10 years my senior.
You can also organize protests against shit you don't like. Just yesterday I helped lead a 500 student walkout and protest across my city against Trump. Another good target is military recruiters if you have them in your school. Just handing out counter recruitment flyers can be enough to scare those fuckers off. Message me if you want me to send you some flyers I've used in anti-military actions.
Basically just immerse yourself in anarchism but don;t overwhelm yourself. It's better to be really committed to one thing then to over stretch yourself and burnout in a few months.

Lol fair enough. its also just reddit.
I don't think I'm the best person to explain this but a country is not a good thing because it's mostly used to alienate people outside of the said country. A country can do horrible things to other countries and that's fine because it's not in a countries interest to protect the lives of other countries unless there are economic ties.
I know I'll sound like a dick here because tankies use it as a thought-terminating clicé. But reading theory is a good way of understanding the actual critiques levied against counties from an anarchist perspective.
There used to be an URL on this sub that lead to the https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index and some book recommendations. I can't give them though because I don't use them and I can't point you in the correct direction. I think some other people could here if you'd ask.
Anarchism, as I see it, fundamentally is a philosophy that takes it as a given that (almost all) hierarchy is bad and power corrupts. Countries have power over many people with little accountability and that's mostly what it comes down to.
Hope I made sense here and said some things you find interesting.
Anarchy Works by Peter Gelderloos and Mutual Aid by Peter Kropotkin are both good entry books on the subject of anarchist economics. They're available on the anarchist library, and you can listen to them for free via Audible Anarchism, which you can find on YouTube, or your podcast aggregator of choice.
>Anarchy. From the Greek work anarchos. An (negative) - archos (ruler) => absence of ruler.
Yes. And someone with authority, that is the ability to make adults do something, is a ruler, hence anarchism opposes authority. Anarchists have always differentiated between expertise (your doctor* example) and authority.
But etymology is not an argument.
Theory on the other hand, is.
*Sport coach sorry
An Anarchist FAQ and The ABCs of Communist Anarchism are both good and can be found for free online. If you’re looking beyond the basics, Marquis Bey’s Anarcho-Blackness and any of David Graeber’s work or Mark Fisher’s are good. Look around on https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index, they have everything under the leftist sun.
You are reaching the limit of my current understanding of Anarchism so don’t put to much weight on my words.
I think humans are pretty competent at deciding when something was an overreaction. I think a socially conscious working class can create a new system of law amongst themselves, specific to their culture and traditions, not one forced upon them by state/capitalism interest.
Maybe self-actualization isn’t the correct term. Regardless , capitalism and the state force you to work for most of your life to pay taxes on a home you don’t really own until you’re elderly. This is not how humans are meant to live. The critique of capitalism gets into much more than that (from wikipedia; inherently exploitative, alienating, unstable, unsustainable, and creates massive economic inequality, commodifies people, and is anti-democratic and leads to an erosion of human rights while it incentivises imperialist expansion and war.) but the soul sucking nature of capitalism is my primary issue with it.
Check out The Iron Fist Behind the Invisible Hand, it explains capitalism origin in feudalism, where peasants were forced to work on a lords land for shelter and food. Capitalism functioned to keep this ruling class powerful, and therefore is in conflict with the common interest.
No worries, havent had a lot of in depth discussion during the pandemic. You’ve definitely helped me clarify some of my beliefs. Again if you are serious about anarchism I’d recommend reading some books on the subject. The anarchist library is a huge collection of anarchist adjacent text from various time periods and places, and libgen can be used for books that you have no access to.
Different ideologies in the quadrant will hold completely different views on things, but from where I stand (not SJW) I've found that most of the literature that really cemented my viewpoints was by people like Alexander Berkman, Emma Goldman, and Peter Kropotkin (whose name people just cannot agree how to spell). You can find almost all of their writings digitized here: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index as well as a wide variety of other opinions (and admittedly a few crazy people, but there will always be that). Thanks for being so open minded, and actually if you don't mind, I've been curious about your quadrant's views lately too, maybe you could share some as well?
If you care about learning, read fiction that aims to provide insight into the real world (Orwell for example, to a lesser extent Banks) or read theory if you really want to punish yourself
You can never go wrong with the conquest of bread or pretty much anything kropotkin wrote. Someone linked Berkman too which is a great intro plus anything he wrote wouldn’t steer you the wrong way. the anarchist library is the best site for all of their work along with countless others.

I worded that weirdly; all that matters at the end of the day is your and everyone else's self interests; as long as it doesn't directly harm someone else's self interest / ego, you should be able to do it. Again, i think you're fundamentally misunderstanding what egoism is; since I'm bad at explaining things, their are prolly much better explanations of what egoism and egoist communism are on https://theanarchistlibrary.org/.
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index you can have your prof and then class read some real anarchist theory, good profs love when you introduce them to good, factual theory so hope it goes well! Srysly pick an article about what anarchism is and ask your prof if class can read it :)
Check out The Anarchist Library to find copies of a lot of the theory talked about here.
And visit Libcom to fill in the gaps.
Malatesta, and Gelderloos both have pretty great foundational books.
"At the Cafe" and "Anarchy", and "Anarchy Works" respecitvely.
Personally I would reccomend looking for some more local theory, just so you can see how our principals apply to politics you might be more familiar with.
The sub also has a reading list that I will link in an edit.
Reading list ps its actually r/Anarchy101
Thanks for the insight, I've never heard anyone else talk about this, I'm glad I can have this conversation with someone. Do you have any specific resources that you recommend for getting good arguments? I already heavily use TheAnarchistLibrary.org for reading theory but it's not something that I can just easily listen to while doing some repetitive task like a vaush video.
Look into council communism or commune-based anarchism. Reading The Conquest or Bread by Peter Kropotkin might help.
You can also find a lot of potentially useful political theory on the Anarchist Library
If you don’t feel like reading, check out this video series
You might want to read Kropotkin's "The Conquest of Bread" on anarcho-communism and Proudhon's "What is Property?" on mutualism. The anarchist library has some great essays.

Here you have a link where you can find whatever you are looking for. I recommend you to explore:
There are two main types of leftists. Authoritarian leftists and libertarian leftists. Most modern day leftists are libertarian leftists. It seems like you described an authoritarian leftist government. Libertarian leftists want a society (I say society and not government because many lib leftists don’t even want a state) that is extremely democratic and egalitarian. We believe the government shouldn’t be controlled by corporations, it should be entirely run by the people, and we strongly support direct democracy, where the people make decisions, not politicians. We also believe workers should democratically control all workplaces, not the state or any CEO. Lib leftists believe that governments should be more focused on ensuring people’s needs are met (for example, healthcare, education, housing) instead of upholding a military and police state motivated by profit. We believe people should be able to live their lives without domination or exploitation. Lib leftists want a truly free and egalitarian society above all. Here are some links if you are interested in reading more about leftist ideology. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian_socialism https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_socialism https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index I’d also recommend checking out the subreddit r/Anarchy101.
https://theanarchistlibrary.org/ is a favorite of mind for a curious newcomer that wants some good readings to pass the time, and even for experienced anarchists that want to keep up-to-date on different perspectives. Once you find yourself you can start tackling authors and speakers that appeal to your beliefs.
Completely wrong, but that’s what I expected, I just wanted you to put your ignorance into writing. Political ideologies have tenets and definitions that you should be familiar with if you’re going to attempt to argue political theory. You should go read some books instead of making up things as you go to fit your preconceived notions.

Liberal and left mean two different things, and I wouldn't vote for Hillary or Bernie not because I dislike them, but because my political views are much farther left comrade. Still, I think Social Democracy is the best way to start getting slowly father left, and maybe even fullcommunism! Trump, Cruz, and all them are reactionary scum, yes, but liberals are moderate right wing, they support a system that is fundamentally flawed. Like I said read all sides and make up your own damn opinion. https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index And https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/mao/selected-works/index.htm Are both good websites to start to learn. Remember comrades, accept change and fight for equality and freedom :)
I wouldn't be a true Anarchist-Communist if I didn't recommend "The Bread book". That's what we like to call The Conquest of Bread by Peter Kropotkin. It's usually everyone's starting point. I also highly recommend Mikhail Bakunin because he's my favorite philosopher so far. I'm reading an anthology of Anarchist thought right now that goes over most of the best bits of writing from all the prominent thinkers.
An excellent resource is the Anarchist Library where you can find hundreds, if not thousands of Anarchist books for free. Almost any topic you could possibly think of, and I would be willing to guess that even new authors put their writing on there. Here's the link- https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index Any book someone recommends, you'll likely find it there. You can download most books in a bunch of different languages, as well as in a swathe of different file-formats such as .PDF, or .PUB (for e-readers) just know that some have formatting issues in spots due to the conversions, but that should be manageable.
If you're looking for hard copies of books, I recommend AK Press. There website is here- https://www.akpress.org/ They're a small publishing co-op that specializes in radical books. They usually print Anarchy-related book but I do believe they have some Marx and Engels too. Depending on where you are in the world, the shipping might get expensive. If it is, also check out Amazon and maybe you'll find a better deal.
Right now I'm reading No Gods, No Masters: An anthology of Anarchism by Daniel Guerin. It's a hefty book, but it goes over all the best philosophers like I mentioned above. It's a really great read so far. I got it from AK Press. Another one I recently read is Anarchy by Errico Malatesta. That one's really short, but it's also very good.
Let me know if you have any questions or need more recommendations!
You've demonstrated nothing but a complete lack of understanding of socialist theory and praxis with your statement. The only critique you've presented is the same one that capitalist apologetics has been using for years, "Someone has to be the grunt, so hierarchy and capitalism are therefore justified."
There is an entire section of the body of socialist and anarchist literature that addresses theoretical and practical realities of work under capitalism, and the theoretical and practical solutions to the endemic exploitation and oppression of these systems.
Work under a revolutionary society is handled with much different motivations than under capitalism.
The "hard truth" as presented by your argument is simply that you believe these kinds of work must exist solely under capitalism and it's modes of organization. This is the fundamental flaw with your position, as it ignores the motivations that socialists utilize when they seek to collectivize or liberate labor. Much of what is currently conceived as work would be reformed, or removed entirely, within a revolutionary society. There is no profit motive under socialism, only the actual necessity of maintaining a community and its needs. So work would continue, but not in the capitalist sense, and these forms of work don't justify capitalism any more than rules justify the state.
There are potentially endless forms of labor as theorized and practiced by socialists that undermine your position. Feel free to check out Anarchist Library or Anarchy101's reading list for more on these ideas in depth.

I adore the % scaling UBI to GDP, that's a great way to make sure inflation doesn't eat a flat amount before amendments can be passed. Land tax makes sense too.
Also, I'm sure you are aware but for free books try looking into https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index or the Overdrive App that connects to your library system. Theres also Project Gutenberg which is a great resource as well - https://www.gutenberg.org/
Bro anarchism is well over 200 years old. Proudhon wrote about it in 1803. I don't know what the fuck you are smoking but this is what 0 theory does to someone. Honestly there is no point in engaging with some dumbass that uses the term "anarcho-socalism" because you are so lost in the sauce you don't know which way is up anymore. https://theanarchistlibrary.org/special/index educate yourself its all free

Are you looking for reading suggestions to understand anarchy or are you new to the sub and trying to understand anarchy and its relation to being anti-work? Maybe it's not the anarchy topic that is confusing to so many. A lot of people seem to not understand what "anti-work" actually means. It's funny, considering political ideologies, I'd love to hear one that lines up more with anti-work than anarchy...
