Have you read Cobain Unseen? https://www.amazon.ca/Cobain-Unseen-Charles-R-Cross/dp/0316033723 Pretty much 60-70% of that book is photos i haven't seen at that point, had probably seen like more than 100 or so pics at that time. Comes with all kinds of cool things like: a card that kurt made when he was young, a mask and a cd https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81jQ6l0IR4L.jpg
Damn that is so cool! It needs more upvotes!
The oldest thing I've seen is from 1994, also on Google groups
EDIT: Just found some people asking for Nirvana tabs in 1993 https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.guitar.tab/nTGBK_WAJXc
Drain You is the first Nirvana song that I heard and loved. It was the B-side on a single which is where I heard it first and was blown away. Looking back I think it was because it was a live version of the song and they were just ridiculous live.

You mean Bleach on cassette tape? Yeah, Subpop actually printed a new run last year, it's relatively easy to get your hands on. I love listening to this album on tape, all 3 actually. Discogs.
Usually the first jobs have horrible colors that makes my eyes hurt, and this does not have that effect thats why I asked. Even pros use books like Color index to pick color schemes and picking the by eye is not easy task so you seem to have eye on this kind stuff.
Sadly, no, but remember seeing people in high school wearing them.
The only Nirvana shirt I owned was similar to this image.
There are parts that haven't surfaced or only has a few snippets surfaced (for example SBD#1e in this download features snippets which were recorded with an open mic while others are direct from a copy of the tape). For more info about all of the sources I'll recommend this page and the Fecal Matter FAQ for general info about the tape.
Yes, and like I said, Soaked In Bleach is made up entirely of people who were either very passingly involved with the situation, or not involved at all. They hardly qualify as authorities on what actually occurred, especially over the people that were literally present in his last days.
As for answering every single misguided question that truthers seem to bring up 20 seconds after it was already debunked, there is a term for the futility of that.
I don't really have a guitar USB cable or anything, so I recorded it with my Microsoft webcam microphone lol. Messed with the sound in Audacity so it doesn't sound earrapy.

Hope it sounds okay.
More info here:
I've never even heard about him owning this Hagstrom, pretty cool guitar though
looks like its from a phone message
Your Empathy is listed under Hole's songs on songmeanings.com, but it's not on any "Regular" or on My Body, the Hand Grendade album. It may or not may not be on a single or a b-side, but not sure.
And maybe this will help?: https://archive.org/details/KurtCobainJournals

Nirvana with Cello is always great. I love the lyrics of this song and it is a perfect ending to Nevermind (if you don't count Endless Nameless).
I don't think I ever posted it here, but I mixed this song like 5 months ago. http://yung.cloud/index.php?a=track&id=17610
Hmmm... Seems to be ok for me. Try this
They were popular in UK before states, for reasons mostly unknown Sub pop did lots of promo work in europe.
When Nirvana Came to Britain great documentary of this.
Experiencing Nirvana: Grunge in Europe book documenting 1989 tour.

Bliss and The Chosen Rejects were indeed missing, thank you for those. Conecerning the Kiss Cover, would you know on which record I could find it? I want them in the most best quality, since they are mostly poorly recorded already... Did you mean this record: https://www.discogs.com/de/Nirvana-Bliss/release/1905108 Cause it is just a compilation of already released songs.
My 1991 Nevermind cd sounds pretty good. Here's my version: https://www.discogs.com/Nirvana-Nevermind/release/8737296
I paid 10 cents at a yard sale. I got PJ's Vs. and Last Kiss CDs for 10 cents too.
Can you confirm what exactly comes in this CD for me? I see it for sale in Amazon for 22.00 but it lacks really much of a description. However part of the description has a picture/video of the Live and Loud show in it. I thought Deluxe only came with the 2 mixes and then the "Super" deluxe edition cam with the DSVD and CD of Live and Loud. If so is this listing in Amazon incorrect? https://smile.amazon.com/Utero-CD-20th-Anniversary/dp/B00E7SXPVW/ref=tmm_acd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
Thanks!!
For anyone wanting to dive deeper into the mind of Kurt and hear/see some really cool stuff check out this book, it’s a compilation of his journal entries, scribbles and doodles & very early versions of some songs photocopied into a book! Already read it all, very very cool stuff. Journals https://www.amazon.com/dp/157322359X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_DP5MZWM02BVT87N1V45S
Kurt jokingly suggested "Sexually Assault Me" as a potential title for the Wal-Mart version.
Here you go, Bud:

You would be correct! Let us know how the sound quality is on a better HiFi- some of these vinyl bootlegs can be kinda dodgy!
Sadly the process itself is quite complex and takes a bit of effort. The software can be found here https://topazlabs.com/ai-gigapixel/ but keep in mind that you have to extract all the frames before it can be "fed" into the software.
"Kurt suffered from bipolar disorder * (also known as manic depression), a mood disorder affecting about 2.3 million people in the United States alone." - Beverly (Cobain) Verdick
That's in the introduction of this book.

Kurt being bipolar is common knowledge and verified by his own cousin here.
Actually, Teen Spirit was a popular brand of deodorant at the time. It can still be purchased today.
Agree that Everybody Loves Our Town is the top pick. There’s Grunge Is Dead by Greg Prato too. Hope the UK link works for you.

Nirvana the True story by Everett True is a weighty tome about the band and does kind of address the grunge scene too. I searched it on google and there appears to be a scholarly article, though it seems to be quite critical. I don’t know if that qualifies as it being peer reviewed though? I loved the book anyway. Good luck, happy studying and grunging!
I thought I had every Nirvana book out there but I couldn't find any quotes from Melora Creager in any of mine. I did some searching and it looks like this one does:
https://www.amazon.com/Nirvana-Words-People-Were-There/dp/0233004149
It might not be the one you are looking for but on the authors FB page she mentions that Melora added some thoughts and insights in the book.
I love the title choice. Suitable for a graphic novel.

I didn't notice a hardcover pressing, which would be nice to have.

Not sure if that'll translate over to .nl but hopefully.
Zippo has a lot of nirvana lighters on amazon, you can just look up "Nirvana zippo" on Amazon and many will come up such as a portrait of kurt or the smiley, but I believe that this is the one op has
Sounds pretty rare.
This it? https://www.amazon.com/Hormoaning-Nirvana/dp/B00001IV95
My parents used to go cd collecting wherever they could buy with the rise of technology and having to buy it online nowadays, they pretty much stopped. Now I’m trying to find any stores that dont just sell vinyl records because of the trend amongst hipsters
Almost. Got Dave Grohl's biography by Martin James. I'm only halfway through, but I advise against it.
I like them, they're not as good as Nirvana but have some cool songs. I recommend this Album as a starter, first side is kind of a best of, second side is rarer songs.
March To Fuzz https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000040JFC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_5zjlzb3RQ57TH
I'm transcribing the handwritten letters/journal entries, so people can have an easy-to-read text version of Kurt's writing. If you want the full experience, I would recommend buying the book as it's got some of Kurt's artwork and comics, and much of the journal pages are best appreciated in the original handwritten format so you can get a sense of his thought process through what he puts in margins, what he crosses out/re-orders, etc. There's some pretty neat stuff in there, like cover art and T-shirt designs, Kurt's hand-drawn designs for the JagStang, and lots of fun little doodles in the margins. The Journals aren't for everyone, but I personally enjoy the book very much, and find that a good 90% of the material isn't too personal to not be comfortable reading.
But that's just my review, others on the sub have lots of differing opinions on the book. There's been some good discussion in the past.
Cobain Unseen is a great book full of cool stuff like replica notes, sketches, tour tickets, etc from the band and Kurt. Kurt's Journals is a cool one too that is like reading his journals. Pretty much any Nirvana/Kurt book is a good read.
lolol. we have gone waaaay off topic now. ;)
Back on, is this the one:
To give a little more detail: That copy of In Utero, sealed, would likely sell for about $100 on ebay, and then you can grab this 3xLP version of In Utero (with my personal favorite Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flowing Through the Strip and Marigold too) and still have $50 leftover for a bag of..... for whatever you would spend $50 on. Gas and pizza maybe.
That same clear vinyl In Utero, not sealed, is worth more like $25-50, possibly more. That's why I kept mine. If I wasn't a big Nirvana fan maybe I'd see what I could get for it, but I love it in my collection and definitely play it.
In the case of the Beatles - a copy of Please Please Me recently sold for $2,900+ on ebay. I'd sell that in a heartbeat and buy the reissue for $18.
Hmm , I have this song book that have the tabs for teen spirit and rape me similar to each other but other sites have what you put .
I'm just like you, wanting to know everything I can. Read Everett True's book on Nirvana, its probably one of the most honest non biased accounts of Kurt and Nirvana. It goes into detail about Kurt's drug use, and OD's many times in certain areas. Some people will say negative things about it, because they think Everett is a twat point blank, but he was there through most of it all, and was one of the two or three journalists Kurt really liked and opened up to in his life. He says something along the lines of "People say Kurt wasn't this moody downer type of guy...Bullshit he was one of the moodiest people I've ever met", so you know he keeps it real lol. http://www.amazon.com/Nirvana-The-Biography-Everett-True/dp/0306815540
I have both books and i would say Come as You Are: The Story of Nirvana is a better book and actually includes interviews with Kurt and the rest of the band and their close friends .
For android (My favorite) (Trial): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer
Plus $3.99 to unlock it to have full version forever: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer.unlock
It's a great music player as it can play multiple types of audio files and now it's cheaper than when I bought it a year or so ago.
