Lets be generous and say you find an artist who will make your book for $100 a page. Thats $6000 for the full book. And lets say you can sell it for $5. You would only need to sell 1200 copies to break even.

This book is about an intelligent horse, Dok Saau, who ends up attracting his owners' attention when he writes sentences to them. After being a tourist attraction, his owner's son, Chang Shong, uses him to take part in a local jousting competition, but amid the training, Dok Saau seeks his help to get rid of his recurring nightmares. Chang Shong has several friends: Gworofando, Mjariloz, Oskar, Liaocheng, Ang Yeung, and Wiresa.
