Nope, we just both pulled from the same sources.

And
(Which is also based on Star Charts)
Trying to queue for the Winter Invasion TFO at the globe bar near the Kramp'lhri Watcher gives the message "Your Level is too high to join 'Winter Invasion'."
Edit: I should have said it was next to Q. He's the only thing that matters and it is only by his good graces and bountiful mercy that I'm allowed to enjoy his Winter Wonderland. He's so handsome...
Most game companies don't do a lot of transparency because gamers are considered too volatile, toxic, and immature, to handle the fact things change during development, and thus, call the devs liars, scam artists, and whatever.
There is actually a pretty good article about it
https://kotaku.com/game-designer-says-developers-would-be-more-candid-if-g-1818729507
Wonderful!
I hope this will open up the possibility of many more team ups, which VO special guests/stars would like to take the opportunity working on/with STO to help a charity they support deeply, via a similar bundle, or promotion.
Even if it was to just get a holographic Boff of them! I'd be down, sign me up!
This act of goodwill from the community / STO team in my opinion, certainly opens up the doors in the future.
By the way people, the total sales, according to the Groupees page was $54, 109. :) not sure how much of that is disputed between all the different groups involved (edit, I found my previous comment from a while back and turns out it's 70% towards The Pop Culture Hero Coalition), but these are both certainly numbers to be proud of. :D
/u/Zispinhoff, thank you for keeping track of this data. I did some searching and found more data from /u/SirFragula.
EDIT: It seems that that the price of Zen declined throughout the second half of 2012 and began to increase (with fluctuations, obviously) beginning in the second quarter of 2013. For more context, here are the release dates of various seasons and expansions:
I use <strong>reddit sync</strong>, which is a visual reddit app that doesn't incorporate the basic barebones reddit interface that you're used to on the desktop.
Instead, it has an interface that's beautiful and it adheres to Google's visual standards. You can also access multiple accounts with reddit sync and it's free. I used baconreader, but found that the interface of reddit sync blew me away. I was a reddit is fun owner as well but felt it was way too barebones for what I like.
EDIT: reddit sync is known by its name because the app allows you to save subreddits for offline reading.
Does help to be specific when asking questions of the internet. ;)
Assuming 1: yes, and 2: IRL; what I know some people have done is go to a professional tailor to custom order one. That's likely to be expensive though. An alternative could be searching around Amazon, small cosplay costume companies occasionally offer Star Trek Online uniforms. For example (Odyssey Sci):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763SWXKB/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_1_w
But you're pretty much on your own with trying to evaluate quality and judge pricing. There's no licensed deal for Star Trek Online costumes (what's linked above is not an official product) and nothing I can personally recommend from experience.
Good luck.
Its a bit ancient but Rachel Garrett's demorecord tool from like half a decade ago still works and makes costume swapping and fx removal much easier.
The Oxford dictionary added it in 1903. Then again, they've also added YOLO, so they seem to like added utter bollocks to appease the plebs, rather than telling them "no, this isn't a word, kindly stop using it and fuck off".
Note that if you're in the US, a 60-day subscription card costs $15 at Amazon. This gives you the account bank permanently, unlocks an extra character slot, and eventually gives you 1000 zen before it expires. It has other nice features as well.
Yes, I know--I've played since beta--but they were not procedurally generated. Here's an old article I found where Daniel Stahl explains the Genesis System somewhat: http://www.mmorpg.com/blogs.cfm?isapi_rewrite_remap=Awenyddion%2F062009%2F4006&bhcp=1
And, P.S., they weren't very good. Some people complained when they were removed because, well, humans. But I don't miss them one bit.
Checked if my laptop could run STO on Can You Run It and it failed miserably. This was AFTER I'd been playing STO on it for a few months with only minor lagging (albeit on low settings)
If you want to find out more about J'Ula then read this comic
Either the writers want to make her not as evil or were simply given the gist of the comic, there wasn't just a "perceived betrayal by marrying into another house". She slaughtered everyone who belonged to her and T'kuvma's original house and tried to kill him too because he wouldn't swear loyalty to her new husband.
You can try using TinEye to find images like that. I used it and it found nothing like this specific image, but I use it all the time for other stuff and figured you might be interested in it anyway.
Can you use screenshots rather than photos? I can't see what you're talking about. The windows snipping tool should work, but ShareX is awesome and what I still use. Hit a hotkey, select the area you want screenshotted, it'll take the screenshot, upload it to where you want it (like imgur) and copy the URL to your clipboard so all you need to do is paste it.
AS PROMISED!
Uploaded a ZIP file with all four costumes and a short readme.txt to google docs.
Frag some Idryll for me. o7
EDIT: Forgot to mention in the readme, the hair and facial hair that Korban has is the Mogh style that Cryptic released for the TNG anniversary event a while back. You will require access to that for the costume to work.
I’m on a Mac. Up until recently I was using a 2009 iMac but have upgraded to a 2020 Mini. I’ve been using a Shadow cloud computer to run a variety of games, including STO, for the past year or two.
It’s a bit on the pricey side but you get an entire and decent PC to do with what you will, and assuming your internet connection is strong, there’s no noticeable input lag.
Eeeep, don't want to run it that hot for long. Even though GPU's are rated for "max temps", that really just means the temp it can go to before it starts crashing. But really running it that hot consistently takes time off of it's lifetime.
Quickest, but worst solution, is make sure V-sync is on. Running that hot I'm assuming you're putting out more frames than your monitor can even show. But v-sync can cause input lag if you're the kind of person sensitive to that kind of thing.
If you already had that on and it's still that hot, you need to clean out the dust from your GPU's fan. That dust is a GPU killer. It's the leading cause of "Welp, I guess I need a new graphics card..."
2nd best solution if the gpu fan is totally clean and there's no dust in sight in your case is to get a monitoring tool like http://www.evga.com/precision/ It can automatically ramp up the fan speed in your graphics card based on how hot it's getting. You don't want to run it at 100% for long periods of time and burn out it's wee motor, but could put it to ramp up to 70% or so if it goes past 84C and that should help.
Last but not least if all of that has failed to work for who knows why, and the best and most advanced solution. Is download Nvidia's Inspector http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html A tool that opens up EVERY driver-level customization you can possibly ever want to configure. Note: only mess with settings you understand, you can seriously break your hardwear with this. But you can make a profile for a game and have it throttle your frames based on how hot your GPU is getting. Say you have a game that gets hot, but you don't want v-sync on, you can set it to max out at 85 degrees and it will never go past that.
Or if where you live is always really hot, can open up the side of your comp-u-tor and put a big ol' desk fan blowing through it. :P
Hi Jubbergun, we have lots of bundles currently available at the site if you check out https://groupees.com , There's currently a huge comic book bundle, a few music bundles and several game bundles. Thanks!
Speaking of NW, they have added something very recently that'd be nice to come to STO. Basically, a subscription, but you buy it with Zen, and it's in the in-game store.
I'm STO LTS, and I'd still be tempted to buy that if it existed just for the daily master key, never mind all the other bonuses.
For those unsure or wondering what their current system supports, download GPU-Z.
It will tell you everything you need to know about your GPU(s). It's freeware, and no installation is necessary. Just run it.
Tip for tinker cad is to try and keep your shapes as simple as you can in terms of additions and subtractions.
Eg. Id guess your necessles are a rectangle with 6 ish hole shapes to make the cutouts. You could achieve the same result stacking 3 rectangles and filling the middle wide section with a 4th.
Ive been having some fun with starship designs lately too. I mainly wanted to remake the Ranger class in a form I like better, but Ive been having so much fun with it.
Take a look here https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bWonMzXTmyV-low-ranger-type
If you copy it and pull it apart you might find some examples in there of how I keep the shapes simple.
Another thing with tinkercad is, it will slow down ALOT at certain times of day. Usually around school starting time accross the USA. their servers seem to not handle the load very well. Try tinkering your design at the same time of day you originally started, you might find it doesnt load so slow after all.
I like your design over all. Ive always been a fan of using the roll bar as something that can protect things like sensitive componants, and weak spots like shuttle bay doors from attack angles. The only thing I think is that its a bit too messy and chaotic for a Fed starship imo, but there are certainly worse examples. Ive discarded a couple of my own designs for this reason, but if its what you like, keep going with it. Make whatever you think looks good, thats what its all about.
EDIT. Also, on tinkercad. At the moment, the standard create new design button will start in the beta version of the program. For the moment, you might be better off creating a legacy design. The controls work better and faster, and are less prone to screw ups, and designs seem to load a bit faster as well.
> Why do this as an image? That just makes it impossible to copy and paste.
Dropped in to say exactly this. There seems to be a subset of the Internet that believes that unless information is conveyed via a rasterized image or a streaming video, it has no value. Plain text is pretty dang awesome on its own, and if you really need formatting you can use Markdown and throw up a gist for all to see.
Use a VPN. I use Private Internet Access when I go to Vietnam, and it has been suitable for me to do the winter ice race and the summer jetpack race. It won't be perfect, but if you're just after the [Lolnut Voucher (2016)] for the ship, it'll work. I sub by the year for like $30.
While I've never traveled to Taiwan, PIA has always worked inside Taipei's international airport via their WiFi.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_of_chance
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/game+of+chance
"Any game of chance that involves anything of monetary value is gambling."
"Noun1. Game of chance - a game that involves gambling"
Anytime you combine a game of chance w/ money, it's gambling. Cryptic adds the trash rewards in so people will justify that it's not gambling. I know the vast majority of people consider any lockbox opened that doesn't include a ship a waste of a dollar, myself included. How many lockboxes do you think they'd sell on the merit of their prizes that don't include ships? Not many I'd wager... and that tells you everything you need to know about the value of those items.
Part of the bugs I encountered playing all the episodes again.
Here is that wall close up. You can see a city, lol. http://tinypic.com/m/ind7cp/3
Researcher rescue is even worse. You use low graphics settings, and after the first fire, you see all grey and can see all the NPCs in the map.

Posted this in another response, but in case you don't see that...
FYI, there are other alternatives if that particular mouse doesn't fit your grip style, design aesthetic, etc.
For instance if you use Crosair products, iCue lets you remap any button on a per-program basis. I have a button that is unused setup to simulate the left mouse button clicking every 10ms until I toggle it back off for instance. Works well for those click times.
Other manufacturer software has similar features usually, but not all will let you remap all the keys. Some limit you to just the custom G keys on the keyboard, or only extra mouse buttons on the sides, or other artificial limits.

No uglies are made of random crap people could find to make star fighters. There’s some really cool and hilarious stuff
Except you can. Limited replayability, sadly.
While I applaud your attempt at humor, this is Amazon's Simple Email Service. Many businesses use it. Sure it doesn't matter, but most of your promo emails from everywhere probably utilize something similar.
[Amp] comes at Ultra Rare - here is a picture - https://gyazo.com/820a329e027dd95b11faa46c0f148c0a
I don't know whats " THE " best way - would guess its 2x quality and omega tech - but the price is dumb as hell - so that is open to debate even.
What I did was spend 50 mil on Omega Tech - and 2x quality - It took 9 of those golden omega's with 2x's to bring me to a 41% chance to go to UR mark 13. AND I FAILED .. resetting the damn next marks level to crit rarity back down to 4% - In which from there I just spent superior all day long and pined over the missed 40% chance to get my AMP mod on my core for 50 mil ec's ( at the time )
Didn't hit Ultra Rare until a few times through at mark 14 (17% it went )
count how much tech needed to give 1 push - divide that by 12,800 and then multiply that by the dil cost - and go from there on the best way (for you) to fund that upgrade.
good luck - sometimes I feel like going back to just a 3 pc and maybe rommy engines for my Beta Build ( 150+ attack patterns )
that's 10 points from the fleet boost - three conns for 30 points there and the rommy engine to put me over that 150+ attack pattern skill for my Beta 3 ( and OMG is it EVER BETA 3 )

Probably because that's something the French world do, and if there's one thing Oxford isn't, it's French.
You can move the directory, and then make a shortcut for the launcher.

I have no idea what it is either. But I managed to get the game running so all is good.
Register an account and leave a comment about why you love about STO as your contest entry. This is another one of those drawing contests as opposed to Alienware where you get the codes instantly
Great shot! Take my upvote :)
Small tip for the next photo: Put the Enterprise J ontop and in the back of the other ships, like my 5s-edit :-) https://snipboard.io/b4mNdz.jpg So, the earlier and smaller ships are more present and the focus isn't fix on the Enterprise J.
Obsolete DOES NOT imply that it isn't viable, that's what the words "not viable" are for. There are plenty of things that are viable but obsolete. For example Records are obsolete technology, but still completely viable. Windows 7 is obsolete, but more viable (IMO) than Windows 10. Just because they're (almost*) synonyms doesn't mean they're 100% interchangeable.
*You actually won't find them listed as synonyms anywhere because they're not.
As /u/revofrd says, PlayOnLinux works like a charm.
I have been using it for some time and other than reduced performance I had no problems whatsoever.
Btw, Steam has a native linux client now, works great and has over a thousand games, some of them are even good.
Any update to STO's gateway would have to just be ways to view your characters and ships. An "STO Gateway" app that notifies you when to log in to claim your completed admiralty/DOFF/rep/R&D might be nice. But to actually initiate something from gateway is probably never going to happen now.
I think it's only a matter of time until something like this ends up in STO.
I doubt we'll ever get a version that comes in a box that we can sell on the exchange, though.
>PS: Check out that last hop.... xbox????
Yes. All the Cryptic stuff's on the same network.
http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php
You need to rewrap the whole game in Wineskin to get it to work half way decently. Cryptic did a poor job in porting STO over to Mac, The cider program they use does a poor job of running Windows code. Its going to take you a few minutes to get this working properly but afterwards you shouldn't suffer any issues at all.
Windows 10 system requirements from Microsoft say you'll need 20 GB for the 64-bit version of the OS. STO currently takes up ~16.4 GB for holodeck and ~8 GB for the prepatch folder. The entire install on my system is ~25 GB. Cleaning the prepatch folder would reduce this as it's no longer necessary, but the point is it will happen and does happen.
Given all that, I'd say to be safe — system, page file (if you have 8GB+ RAM you may want to turn it off), and STO install… PLUS room for major Windows feature upgrades to download since the Creator's Update coming this spring will add high-performance game mode to Win 10… 70 GB. Just to be safe, if you don't want to redo it.
Also, once you have Windows 10 installed run "dxdiag" and make sure your card supports DirectX hardware feature level 11_0 or greater. DirectX 9 support is finally ending this year. If you can only run feature level 10_0 (minimum), you'll need to take a hit and downgrade to Windows 7. Don't buy any licenses (you don't HAVE to buy a Win 10 license… just nags you a little bit) before you confirm everything and that DirectX 11 is working on your system.
I have no stock or interest in them, but I buy my licenses from Kinguin. ~$30 for Win 10 pro w/ purchase protection. Make sure it says "worldwide" before you buy, and activate over the telephone by first disabling WiFi or Ethernet. Worked like a charm for me last week.
Hope some of this helped.
Unfortunately, the site didn't play well with my Romulan's forehead details or neck scar and smoothed them out, but... I'm still happy with the results. Here's a link to the site if any of you are interested in trying it for yourself: https://artbreeder.com/
Yes, you can use Inkscape: https://inkscape.org/en/ to edit the image and/or extract PNG's. (Inkscape is a vector graphics editor for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It's free and open source.)
GIMP useres: I extracted some of the basic images and put them here: http://dropcanvas.com/92aok
All credit goes to u/PFreeman008 for creating and sharing his work.
Edit: The tall thin images with the rank you see on the dropcanvas page are not blank. They are the LCARS element you see next to the ship crew in the original. They are white and disappear on the white webpage background
See if Spotify has coverage for your area. Ever since they started their service here I've been listening to mostly anything I can think of. Quick search got me the original soundtracks to the motion picture, Wrath of Khan, Voyager and Generations. Comes in free and subscriber modes, with free running adverts between tracks, or so I'm told.
That timeout at hop 17 doesn't mean anything. The router simply isn't responding to ping requests, which isn't necessarily bad.
Your problem is that (from looking at the DNS) your packets are going on a world tour.
The major delay is between hop 6 and 7, where your packets leave your ISP's net (pldt.net => "Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company") , which I am assuming is in the Phillipines and enter Cogent's. You can see a dramatic increase in ping times. I don't exactly know where hop 6 is physically located, but from the DNS name I'd guess you're going from the Philippines to Los Angeles (LAX in the DNS), which is roughly 12000km by air. That alone will add about 120ms in travel time through fiber.
You then go from LA to Houston, another 2000km and 20ms travel time alone (the 50ms between hops 8 and 9 seems high and something Cogent should be able to improve), and so on until you land in Boston. So you are going from the Philippines to the US West Coast and then on to the East Coast. Thus your ping is always going to be 200ms+.
As far as spikes are concerned there are a few outliers in that tracert, e.g. your ping to hop 2 varies a lot. That doesn't reflect in the rest of the route though and may just be due to ping requests being treated differently by the router than other traffic.
You could try monitoring your connection for a longer time to see, whether you can identify any consistent issues.
Try WinMTR or PingPlotter for that.
This is my updated version of the Federation Accolade Tracker. I tried my best, but the whole accolade system is a mess. Many accolades are no longer available, removed, or not working...
Assuming that you're referring to this and have the latest version, right click on the demo and select 'Edit demo...' and then from the filters dropdown, select 'Remove FX.'
Nowadays everyone should really have a VPN - the extra level of security is warranted in this kind of climate
Still, as I said, try one of the free trials (NordVPN for instance) and see if it helps - if it does - that's something to look into. If it doesn't - you've lost nothing
I've had this problem
You probably need an internet VPN - my personal computer hasn't been able to connect to STO's servers since they switched to ARC - but I have no problem connecting through my VPN
Even if I'm using a US server -shrug-
NordVPN is pretty good - though really ANY VPN will do - try one of the free trials and see if it helps
I think you want /r/TrekBooks
The only Trek book that I've read and enjoyed enough to remember anything about it is A Stitch in Time by Andrew Robinson, fleshing out his DS9 character, Garak.
Tried my hand at it. Just drop the file into your \Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots folder and load the outfit on your BOff. Your BOff must be a male human commander.
Unfortunately, as great as the character customization is in this game, recreating character likenesses is hard with the limited options.
I'm afraid I don't know that one. I haven't seen Minority Report.
The ones I've seen advertised look like a small ray gun with a thumb-operated trackball on top and several buttons. They look like they can be operated one-handed. Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Handheld-Finger-Trackball-Pointer/dp/B0057KL2AU
(Not a recommendation - I haven't used this. Just an example photo.)
It's basically a giant version of this toy: https://www.amazon.com/Bluelans-Children-Learning-Science-Stocking/dp/B07KSZS392
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P9W5HJV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
This is the card I'm using on mine. I got it on a sale day for $119. That said - Steam Deck supports hotswapping microsd - so you can buy a few smaller ones if you'd like.
Scotty does this in https://www.amazon.com/Kobayashi-Maru-Star-Trek-No/dp/0671658174 He beamed antimatter to the engine room through the shields. They got mad at him for cheating but he provided that it could work. The bonus is that they tried to use a manual to prove he was cheating only to find out that he wrote it.
Are you looking at this?:
If so, I don't see the deal you're referring to, even with the Rocket League coupon.
Hmm on my end, it says the sales ends only on 1st Jan 2021: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/star-trek-online/epic-starter-pack-bundle
I too have a lot of alts but couldn't pass up the oportunity to get the Borg Jugg for my Lib Rom (since they can have a full Lib Borg away team)
The Sommerville was in a cheap charity bundle last year and there still appear to be keys left https://groupees.com/PlayForACause
I run AHOD, Reciprocity, A.Pedal, E.W. Cylce.
I do have lots of space Barbie stuff - I really just got my words twisted.
https://gyazo.com/72e13baad511c7bfd45fa3090ab2e696
same goes for traits too - its just so much to keep track of sometimes. I mostly post on reddit when im not playing STO also - so when im on here - its all from memory.
Well pretty much all MMO's have leveling up. If you are into scifi or star wars there is https://www.swtor.com/ I haven't played it, but I believe it is more ground combat focused. I have also read the free to play model is a lot more restrictive too in SWTOR
> . . . imagine a borg cube being a dungeon.
I can imagine a Borg cube being IN a dungeon. Does that help?
D&D reference: ~~Borg cube~~Gelatinous Cube
> It shouldn't even be possible to queue for an elite, you should be joining them as a pre-made group
I disagree in part. It's quite handy to have a team of 2 - 4 and then use the Queue to fill out the extra spaces. I'm just happy for the queue to start.
If you have the "Nvidia experience" installed (free to download here), then you can apply "game filters" which you can then play around with to improve the issues with lighting.
I also recommend trying out a sharpening filter, since it's in the same spot in the Nvidia experience as the lighting filters. STO has a lot of washed out details that can be enhanced with a sharpening filter.
Your issue could be related, but the multiple layers between the game and hardware will make it a bit more difficult to point at any one thing and identify it as the issue.
Bootcamp will offer a good amount of insight for you as Windows & STO will have more direct access to the hardware. You might even see similar behavior to me (stuttering) in boot camp if core parking is in fact causing your issue.
I'm not 100% up to speed with OSX and how it handles power saving states supported by the CPU, but it looks like Intel has developed an application that helps determine what's going on with power usage and sleep states in OSX. You can find a wealth of (technical) information on this in the following forum thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-desktop-support/128926-mavericks-native-cpu-igpu-power-management.html
It's at least worth taking a look at, and please do let us know how boot camp behaves with regards to performance & STO once you get that setup and have a chance to test.
I'm not quite sure then.
Looking at the Security Page/saved computers now, it doesn't show my computer that I know I encountered 2factor auth on after installing an older version of Windows 10.
If you have an old computer or a friend's computer that you can log in on I'd give that a shot.
Either way, I'd head over to haveibeenpwned and enter your email address, to see if you have had other passwords compromised.
It's also affecting NeverWinter since they also host that game.
Arc website is working as well.

on a related note, Plex was down, and it came back at the same time as these guys.
Too much of a coincidence.
There is Shadow. Essentially, it is a remote desktop. You can run any Windows program on it.
If you have a fast internet connection and aren't using 4k, then it will work great. I've been messing around with it for about 3 months.
It'll run on almost any platform: Windows, Mac, Android, etc.
Check your ISP's performance, using SpeedTest.Net or Fast.com and check your "upload" speed (on Fast, you'll need to click the "More Info" button after it runs).
I've been having problems where my upload speed drops to nothing at night, which doesn't affect browsing, but totally ruins gameplay.
I think I picked the right time zone, bloody Yanks needing more than one. Why can't we all just use UTC?
PWE doesn't own Skrill, they just use them as a payment processor. So it's not a PWE change at all. It's entirely Skrill and their owners Paysafe Group Inc.
It's also not in the TOS, it's in their fees section: https://www.skrill.com/en-us/siteinformation/fees/
> Where, and why?
http://www.mmorpg.com/mobile/features.cfm?read=9843&game=352&ismb=1
There for example .
As to why, it's also kind of there ... : it's been 5 years in the making (if you believe the retcon) , and Cryptic wants to move on apparently .
If you're looking for science ships I'd grab the $10 charity bundle while it's still available: https://groupees.com/playforacause
That gives you the cIntel Science bundle at a big discount, it's got a great trait for Science builds that, combined with an anomaly like a Gravity Well, weaponizes all your Science skill slots and makes activating them do an AoE out of your anomaly so even defensive skills like Hazard Emitters will be a tool of destruction.
Other than that, 30% off is generally the best sale price for bundles, so you could try to wait for one of those though there's no telling when the next one will be.
If you are able, I'd grab the $10 charity bundle while you still can: https://groupees.com/playforacause
That gets you an Intel Science ship with Spore Infused Anomalies trait at a bargain price, it weaponizes all your Science skills so when you have an anomaly like Grav Well out even using Hazard Emitters can put out AoE damage.
You may want to try to save up for the 31st bundle as the 31st Dread has a nice trait too: https://sto.gamepedia.com/Trait:_Exotic_Modulation
It's also not as if they never gave an actual good deal before. Look at the Groupees event they were a part of just a few months ago. For $10 you got a bunch of stuff, and you were able to donate more if you wanted to to support the cause. People paid over $300, and there were quite a few $80 to $100 paid out. It was also so popular they had to get MORE codes to give away. If they really wanted to they could provide hundreds of bundles, but they're choosing not to this time.
Apparently breast cancer is more important of a cause then children with cancer.
Now, I'm not sure if the number is accurate.. but you still have 1 day on the https://groupees.com/sto deal. It says there are 3 left for the shran bundle which would be $5. If not there's plenty of the $10 ones left that also give the Shran. If money is tight, just ignore me. I understand.
Make sure you have the right BoP equipped/claimed, it should be a Tier 5 ship, Hegh'Ta Heavy Bird of Prey (from hitting level 40.) Consider swapping around your bridge seating, are you filling it all with Tac? Put a Science in one of the Lt. seats with Science Team and Hazard Emitters. Put an Engineer in a Lt. or Lt. Commander with Engineering Team/Emergency Power to Weapons/Reverse Shield Polarity or Aux. to Structural Integrity. Those will provide healing.
If you can spare $10, you can get a Tier 6 scaling Bird of Prey with Pilot maneuvers and a Battle Cloak from the Breast Cancer donation promo's $10 pack, as well as a Battlecruiser. https://groupees.com/sto
You had to donate for the codes from the site and enter them into the Arc app for Xbox.
They may have disabled it: https://old.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/diimyb/breast_cancer_bundle_codes_work_on_xbox_one/f3xwpcp/
~~You can get 8 ships here (4 fed, 2 rom, 2 kdf) plus a boff for $1 ea here~~
~~I know you said you don't have money, but this is a pretty good discount compared to their normal $5 ea price. Plus their account unlocks so all chars can claim them and 70% goes to charity.~~
Nevermind, looks like it's over.
How it works is people donate here: https://groupees.com/startrekonline Afterwards if you have an extra code that you really don't need people have been giving them away here... lol I have been looking for a mirror danube since they are sold out now
Star Conflict is a pretty space-ey game, but a lot of it is dogfighting and it may feel a bit unrealistic with the smooth, boatlike turns and everything. It's totally three dimensional, and is what I'm gonna play for a while, until Star Citizen comes out.
Without giving too much away, is it similar to this?
It being on a holodeck opens up loads of possibilities for randomness, and that was my first thought when I heard about the STO event.
It was this pack, so it might have been a $150 pre-order. The T1 KLE was just a pot-sweetener at the time :/
Neverwinter expansion launched today ... my guess is that something went wrong and affected STO as well.
Xbox Live also prohibits automation methods in its code of conduct: "Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don't: Use unauthorized hardware or software" https://www.xbox.com/en-US/Legal/codeofconduct
And so does the PSN: "You may not use, make, or distribute unauthorized software or hardware, including Non-Licensed Peripherals and cheat code software or devices that circumvent any security features or limitations included on any software or devices, in conjunction with PSN Services, or take or use any data from PSN Services to design, develop or update unauthorized software or hardware. " https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/legal/terms-of-service/
Console gamers should also be aware that manipulating their console's software or game input through unauthorized 3rd party exploits is against their user agreement and is likely to result in a ban.
EVE Online had a "tiericide" where they did just that, it was interesting. But, it doesn't really apply to the way STO is set up, since for example the Galaxy has the T4, T4 Reft, T5, T5 Refit, T5 Fleet, T6 and T6 Fleet versions (not even counting the Galaxy-X). They may want to do something like... for any ship below Tier 5, remove the tiers and make them all scale up to Tier 4, like the T1-4 Walker class in game right now. Then T5s can be maybe non-scaling ships with a really good skin and console or something. And then T6s... I guess those will scale now too, so I dunno honestly. It's messy.
It's an inexact science to say the least, but:
I remember my first Star Trek computer game.
Of course, it involved a UNIVAC mainframe computer and a teletype, so forget about the Galaxy Map or even updating the sector map in less than a minute.
This is actually the first thing I've ever done in photoshop, so keep that in mind. I think I like the ship visuals in the other examples and these crew snapshots I've seen, but this is what I came up with this time around.
I haven't done anything with this for a long, long time, but also have a fiction blog that was suppose to go along with this character, if anyone's interested.

Wrote a few literary challenge contributions way back when too. I'd like to get back into doing that if anyone is interested in swapping stories.
The file is in CSV format, which stands for Comma Separated Values. You can open it in Notepad to see that it's a pretty simple format, just all the info separated out by commas with one game character per line. The best way to open them is with a spreadsheet program like Excel or LibreOffice, which will let you convert the file so that each entry delineated by commas will be in their own column.
Once you have the spreadsheet open, you can sort everything by anything of those values you want, from name to handle to contribution.
Well, you can get them from the source itself. But there are lots of copies online of varying resolution, like this.
Ever since last year with the launch of the Discoverying content I have to connect through a proxy bounced off NordVPN in order to play. Helped massively with the rubberbanding and server disconnects and - of course - I can actually connect so, ya know, that's great :P
Worth a try - go for the cheapest version - see if it helps - if it doesn't - refund
Ha thanks. It was a gift a couple years ago and I’m not exactly sure the site it came from. No brand name on it so I’m pretty sure it’s unlicensed. But this one looks exactly the same.

Absolutely. Music is the rug that really ties the room together, man. I've created Star Trek playlists on YouTube, Pandora, Spotify and others. I also have a copy of this disc which really gets me immersed: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DFU4CDS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_P4oCFb2TXC14W.
Space Barbie for the ears.
Something like this should knock STO and most other games out of the ball park, and it's not expensive either.
EDIT: Though, you'll probably want to find a similar variant with 16 GB of RAM.
