For everybody interested, here is the link Ironically it seems a lot of folks were mad it didn’t contain characters but instead only background images. I personally think this version is a lot better
The pictures are from the digital I Spy games for windows.
Here's and example of one: https://www.amazon.com/I-Spy-Spooky-Mansion-Deluxe/dp/B0001ZJRXU
Source: Carl Barth Images, but the image has been reversed and the star was added to it. It was apparently taken somewhere in California.
I use Blender, just start with the basics (the holy donut tutorial) and keep making stuff outside your comfort zone. Only search for tutorials to get the basics down pat.
If you get a chance to head to the library sometime in the future, check this out:
Tashkent: Forging a Soviet City.
There's way, WAY more to Soviet construction and urban planning than just aesthetics. Granted, this is North Korea-- any and ALL of their leadership can get absolutely fucked. Hopefully the coup Kim's sister lead against her brother worked this time and their country gradually stops being a torture realm.
Anyway. The (not truly original) Soviet idea that you should have a market, your workplace, school, and a hospital within a mile or two of where you live is vastly superior to the boundless urban sprawl and automotive obsession that informed U.S. urban planning from 1940 to 1980.
