You should look into getting tiered spice shelves. It's so much easier to see what you're looking for when you have a ton of spices.
I highly recommend getting something like this to give you some more storage on the side of the fridge and give you more workspace!

The full size version of this is almost exactly like the one we have.
i do really like the clean angles look of this room
i agree with this though. it might be cool to have some minimalist art up. one or two things, nothing crazy.
my college roommate had a very similar look/ color scheme in his room and used these (but bigger... i couldn’t find the big ones) so something like that would be pretty cool :)
Thanks! I use this bed frame from Amazon ($45) which I like because it has square legs (instead of the legs with wheels on them), and it folds down really small, which was great when we were moving. The headboard comes with all of the hardware and just screws into existing panels on the frame. Some people on Amazon said they screwed it into the wall to avoid it moving, so that's an option to, if that's what you're into. Hope that helps!
I'm already on Amazon looking, haha....found this and OMG I WANT https://smile.amazon.com/CubicFun-London-Skyline-Building-Puzzle/dp/B079FDDZVV
I am the same way about binge cleaning, too - I used to be pretty good about keeping kinda sorta tidy during the week but I had a decent habit of using Saturday mornings to do an all apartment clean, but as I got older and my depression came back, that habit went bye bye. I'm back on meds but getting that motivation to clean just....I ain't got it. And what sucks is that when I do major cleanings, I always swear I will NEVER let it get that bad again, and then two months later it's like the clean never happened. :/
I'm not dirty, just cluttered. I have the 'messy gene' for sure. Also, living alone makes it just so easy to be a slob because who's gonna complain about it? :/
My husband uses this brita. Sure, you still have to fill it, but you don't have to wait for it to fill up.

Great job! I also have ADHD, and the book Organizing Solutions For People With ADHD is a lifesaver. It makes things way easier, and has a bunch of tips for pretty much every section of your house you could think of. I'd highly recommend taking a look!
Just repainted a bunch of my old doors too. Heads up if you want to replace the handles you need special old timey locks called mortise locks (my dumb ass bought a bunch of new ones that wont fit.)
A lot of the mortise brands are either Super expensive or have crystal handles but i got Prime Line locks from Amazon you can get em in Brass, Steel, or Dark Bronze colors and they are pretty decent for $20-$25. I recommend lubricating the action but otherwise they are working and looking pretty sweet.
I bought mine online at urban outfitters years ago, but I actually just found the same one on amazon for way cheaper!

In the US, Amazon sells adhesive-based locks like this one:

Pardon the double links, if any.
Husband with the allergies here. I did get it on Amazon. They're selling it as the "NeilMed Nasadock Plus Stand" for $8.

Right?! Got the idea from some /r/SkincareAddiction 's 'shelfie' posts. Now I just gotta get one of those super cute mini-fridges... (for skin stuff that lasts longer & feels better when it's cooled)
First, declutter. Marie Kondo's "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" is really good for that. Lots of crazy stuff, but also some really good solid advice.
Once you've decluttered and organized, adhere to one simple rule: part of using a thing is putting it away. Meaning, you're not done with dinner until you wash the dishes and put them away. You're not done with a book until you've put it away. Think of it this way: when you're done driving your car, you don't just leave it in the middle of the street with the engine running, right? You park the car, turn off the engine, and take the key out and put it away. Treat all your other objects with the same amount of respect.
As for cleaning (vacuuming, toilet-cleaning, and so on), have a weekly cleaning ritual, and a reward for finishing the cleaning ritual. I actually have a daily cleaning ritual, since I've got a toddler, and the reward is simply a nice cup of tea, guilt-free Redditing or reading, and whatever sweet dessert we've got. Anything that can make the cleaning ritual feel good.
I got it for $80 on Amazon! I was worried about buying a furniture-ish piece online, but it's totally perfect, and felt like a killer deal.
