UPDATE after a short investigation:
The new 4.7.1.x version is completely broken (at least for a pool of devices, including mine).
Tried reinstalling earlier 4.6 version from apk, and device is immediately detected ( see https://apkpure.com/jabra-sound/com.jabra.moments/download/4060001-XAPK?from=popup%2Fversion )
The 4.6 version of the Sound+ app seems to also offer the new firmware update, HOWEVER you won't be able to use ANC before having a workable 4.7 app.
.
Exactly the same here! I've tried :
All the tips here https://www.reddit.com/r/Jabra/comments/hxfywe/help_why_isnt_it_connecting/fzf4q3i/ (reinstalling the Sound+ app now, rebooted the phone, factory reset of the earbuds (10 sec both buttons), re-pairing and so on)
And emptied cache/data for the bluetooh system app
The Sound+ app (4.7+) doesn't work anymore, that's a fact. Jabra Elite 75t by the way.
It has ALWAYS worked before, and nothing has changed on my phone since last time.
You probably have one awkwardly shaped ear like I do. And it's right side for me, so when it falls out audio stops. Constant struggle at the gym or just standing still. Get yourself something like these in large (or variety pack) and solve your problems. Did you buy these new?
This is how the tips break. Be very careful when removing them, as that part of the stem tends to break. You can find the originals on amazon or some replacements.
I bought these and they have been holding up fine so far: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V35J63H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I found this one on amazon and it has the same exact product number as the one sold by Jabra. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JB8WDGY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I bought it and got it and works perfectly. It is, however, shiny plastic instead of a smooth matte finish on the case if you care about that.
I guess you got lucky. Just looked at the reviews and the call quality is absolute shite, just like Elite 7 Pro. Sad.
I got this one. Bluetooth doungle. However, for team call it does not show as mic input, still works if choose computer mic array. Trying another one, but likely have to return the 7 pro, as phone call is not working for me.
Honestly I don't want detached cables.
That's why I need a replacement for my current ones. The pins and casing on the buds themselves completely broke and snapped. I treated them with a lot of respect and I no longer trust detached buds. The cable wasn't the issue.
I found these, what do you think?:
I plan to just get some wired earbuds.
I'm currently trying to find some good ones, I just found these but I need them to be as durable as possible. I don't know how to tell

Same boat here. A bit disappointed with the ANC and coming from the 75t Actives. Very surprised how poor the ANC but makes up for it with the sound quality. To help with the fit and improve noise cancelling, I added some foam tips which helped out tremendously. Had to order several pairs to find the right ones but ended up with these from Amazon.

Follow-up on my previous comment. Ran 2 miles in Alabama July humidity and didn't have to touch my earbuds ONE TIME! The memory foam is definitely worth it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B48ZGJV/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_YMHMX5QDE193BCG5R2YP_1#
I got rid of my 75ts months ago not worth it bought a pair of 13 dollar earbuds on sale. Been using them for 4 months and loving them. Way better, Sound quality is amazing. ZERO ISSUES. https://www.amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Mini-Pro-Transparency-TrueWireless/dp/B09Q2X1W6C?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
Has been a great upgrade thus far me for me. I will never give Jabra my money again even after 3 generations.
Really happy to find these earpads from GTW on Amazon. They look slightly different than my original ear pads did, but they look and feel like OEM materials and quality.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L5YGZFD?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
My old ear pads were stuck to the headset (they should twist off, but mine didn't) so I pulled the old foam and cover offer and then was able to slowly pry up the black ring of the earpad from the red ring of the headphones. I used a small plastic pry tool to do that. I think it's the thin foam ring on the back of the ear pads that got stuck to the red ring. Once separate the old ring slipped off.
it took a couple of tries to line up the new ear pads to the headphones (look for the small dotted circle on the side of the new ear pads, it needs to face down. Once lined up they twisted and locked on fine.
Overall very happy with them and happy to have been able to order only 1 pair! (No thanks to Jabra, they really should make it easier for consumers to buy these, but thankfully GTW is filling the gap in Jabra's poor customer service and support. Thank you GTW.
I ordered these from Amazon USA and had them shipped to Canada. The shipping was easy and no issue with brokerage or duty when delivered. A bit pricy, but not much we can do about that.
Found this company Global Tek via some searches - they sell replacements in a 2 pack on Amazon. Just ordered them, takes about 2 weeks to get to Canada.
Make sure you select the Evolve 75 type (same listing for 65 and 75 - so you have to select the right ones :)

You might want to try something like this dongle, but it wouldn't likely work with the full Jabra software and feature set. The laptop bluetooth profiles are probably short of what the device actually needs. This may be better with Windows 11 based on what I've read, but I've never tested.
I did some research on this topic a while ago, but work punted for a Jabra dongle. If you look on the Bose reddit, you'll see similar threads with people looking for a fully-featured dongle that is stable with PCs.

This is exactly what I wanted - a comfortable headset with good ANC and the ability to block out noise on my end. So far the best results I got from using a combination of Sony XM3 with a wired V-Moda BoomPro mic and Krisp noise suppression software installed on my laptop. Krisp.ai is the site, they give you 4 hour of noise suppression per week for free, the paid tier with unlimited noise suppression is $5 a month paid yearly in advance. Just tested this today and it worked great - my teammates couldn't hear anything but my voice while my partner was on a call too using speakerphone in the same room with me. I really like the combo since the XM3 is very comfortable for long calls, has great ANC and with the V-Moda mic it can use the mic's wire, so works even without being powered up (but you loose ANC if use it this way).
I am considering getting a wireless version of Antlion Modmic, but still undecided since the convenience of not having a wire is also an inconvenience since I will have to make sure both the headset and the mic are charged up. Also, although generally good, the wireless connection is not as stable as a simple wired one. The wireless Antlion modmic also has slightly inferior sound quality compared to the wired version, most likely due to compression.
Ideally, I would love to see the next iteration of Apple Airpods Pro Max to come with Ultra Wide Band connectivity (hopefully, PC dongles will also be available at some point). If they do it right, the sheer bandwidth of the UWB connection should allow for much better mic pickup quality since you won't have to fight for the measly 2mbps or whatever BT allows. If this tech proves successful and takes off, a company like Jabra should be able to build amazing headsets with great sound quality, comfort, ANC and a dedicated boom mic that doesn't make you sound all muffled and crap.

I worked around this issue by creating a virtual mic using https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/ which uses the Jabras as input. There may be cheaper/free software that can do the same thing.
I know this is a few months old but the 75e fits.
Are you going to use these for calls on your phone, or computer via softphone/conferencing software ? If the latter, I use "Krisp" (https://krisp.ai) to block background noise from my environment entering my calls.
From the phone though, I've got no answers to that.
If you want to cut out background noise, download https://krisp.ai for software noise cancellation on your PC.
I use it all the time with my Jabra products. Good headsets/earbuds/speakerphones only do so well. Earbuds especially are more like speakerphones since they don't have a mic boom to go directly in front of your mouth to isolate what they should be picking up.

Try Krisp, as it does an amazing job of cutting out background noises. It has been my saviour during the pandemic while working from home with young girls screaming and a puppy barking.
EDIT: As far as the Link adapters go, they just improve connectivity/range more than anything. No difference in terms of sound quality while on a conference call.
No problem! Good luck with your purchase and hope you enjoy it.
I use my Elite Active 75t earbuds a lot with my PC now. Mostly for conference calls on GotoMeeting/WebEx & consumer Skype. I also use Krisp.ai software noise cancelling which helps to reduce any outside noise the earbuds would otherwise bring into my calls. It works magically.
An update on the Krisp.ai. I was speaking over Teams and the person on the other side had a yelping, screaming puppy next to them. I turned on Krisp to mute out their end for my sake and it removed 95% of that dog's noises. Pretty unbelievable.
Due to the nature of the microphone setup - I don't think you can expect them to cancel out much more noise.
I use them on calls with WebEx, Zoom, GotoMeeting, Teams, Skype, etc - however I use them on my PC. I use them in combination with Krisp (https://krisp.ai) which provides software-level noise-cancelling. Then I can trust them not to bring in too much unwanted noise.
I hear you on the dual-purpose use of business & personal for conference calls and music. Traditionally the Evolve lineup was not tuned for music whatsoever, but really great at voice conversations.
Having read the Evolve2 - 65 reviews - they seem to comment on the quality for music, which is promising then for the 85. That being said, I would still like some more reviews to know for sure.
If you do end up going for anything, I'd honestly skip the 65 version if you already have a quality Plantronics on-ear headset. I figure the 85's will be better in terms of comfort, but over-the-ear headsets still have issues - your ears do get hot just like wearing ear-muffs all day. The ability to switch between form factors will still be required I suspect, though the 85's should last longer before discomfort sets in. Also - the Evolve2 65's lack ANC.
When I'm using my Elite Active 75t's on calls, I also use them with Krisp (https://krisp.ai) which helps with noise cancelling since the style of those microphones bring in too much noise otherwise.
Yeah... it will only get worse for awhile here I'm sure. If you're working from home, you'll enjoy the headset.
The microphone doesn't block all noise though of course. If you have little ones at home, definitely check out the Krisp noise canceling app! (https://krisp.ai) as it does an amazing job at canceling out kid's voices/screams in the background. Or, even if you don't have kids - but are hearing other people's children/dogs yelping on your conference calls - you can mute THEIR background noises. :)
The "Jabra On" and "Jabra Off" are literally iPhone Shortcuts (using Apple's Shortcuts app). If you open the Shortcuts app and add a shortcut, you can search for each of the steps I've described using the exact text in my description.
> I don't think turning bluetooth off and on is really necessary unless you don't remember which device was connected to the Jabra at last.
I found that setting the playback destination to iPhone wasn't sufficient (Jabra Elite 7 Pro is still connected), which is why I briefly toggle off bluetooth in the "Jabra Off" shortcut.
> Imagine you were connected to your MacBook. No matter what you clock on your iphone, don't you need to disconnect from your MacBook first?
Correct. This doesn't get around the need to disconnect the connected device first. I've got an Alfred remote action to dispatch my ToothFairy shortcut key combination, which let's me use my phone to tell my laptop to disconnect (only if my MacBook is still on and not sleeping).
I like having the one-click connect (rather than navigating through menus), but this would be a much better experience if Jabra allowed a connection request from another paired device to switch the Jabra Elite 7 Pro to that new device or at least give us a disconnect command on the Jabra Elite 7 Pro so we could, for example, triple-tap the right ear bud to disconnect the current connection.
Hi u/JabraSupport I bought a wireless charging mat that charges all Qi phones fine but won't charge my elite 75t case? any advice? It's this mat from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B091PWMG2Y/ref=cfb_at_prodpg
These do, however:
And their hi-res flagship model Neobuds Pro but I am not sure where to get those right now.
I found these on Amazon. Hopefully they fit. Some people in the questions section said they did.
Obviously you'd have to remove them to put the earphones in the case to charge, which is fine for me.

I'll report back about comfort / usability.
These are Silicone tips and for the 65 but you can probably find one for the one you have in Germany. They're cheap and fit me a lot better than the ones that came with the headphones.
>ad of silicone, so I'm thinking they'll be a good fit.
The ones that I saw that I would recommend are these ones.
Thanks for your reply!
So I found some that seems like they would fit on Amazon.de. This is the German site cause I'm in the EU. They have them on Amazon.com too, but they were out of stock.
Here is an alternate brand on Amazon.com. It looks very similar to the one I found on the German site, and they're cheaper.
Both are foam instead of silicone, so I'm thinking they'll be a good fit.
Feel free to post this under your original post or make a new one. I think this might help a lot of unhappy Jabra customers...

I’ve been considering spintips. I’ve had good luck using them on my wired iem’s. https://www.amazon.com/SpinFit-CP1025-CPA2-Galaxy-Jabra/dp/B09793Y7N1/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Cp1025&qid=1630815102&s=electronics&sr=1-5&th=1#customerReviews
My original Samsung buds 2 years old didn't have this issue during cycling or running but I couldn't use them for calls or enable hear through. So when I saw the 85t offered almost half price refurbished I got them cause I really liked the features they offer. I liked them for every situation except biking. I don't do much running but mostly cycling. So after researching I found that that I really have two options give up the 85t and get 75t (cause Jabra support said that 85t is open ear design and if I want to used earbuds for cycling to use 75t cause they are in ear) but I really like the 85t they are more comfortable, sound quality and call quality are amazing. So my second option is to buy a simple accessory (link below) that reduce the wind noise and it actually worked. I make sure that 85t ANC and Hear through is off or sometimes ANC on but very low setting. It really depends on how windy but mostly off. The final option that I will just use my old Samsung buds for cycling and keep 85t for business and multimedia use.

meh, qtips are one of the worst things to use in your ears. really offtopic here, but you can use peroxide. tip your head, dump in a capful, let it sit a few minutes, then tilt your head to the sink to dump it out.

even better than that is the elephant ear washer.

The USB dongle is the issue! If you buy one of these it will not degrade the sound quality.
I had this problem, and ended up buying Comply foam ear tips and no longer have them fall out! Also, creates a better seal so sound quality is better, and they are much more comfortable. Whatever size ear tip you use from jabra, buy the same size of comply and you should be good.

I have a similar Spigen for my Sony WF-1000XM3's and the Spigen case just gives you that extra comfort that you won't crack your charging case if it finds it's way to suddenly drop on a concrete floor.
On the OP's Q?, I just ordered 5 of the Elite 85t's and we have no complaints about the charging case. It's a bit smaller than my WF-1000XM3's case and I wish the case surface was a bit more grippy ("rubbery" perhaps) to avoid those mindless slips, but otherwise, all good.

These are your best two options. The comply tips are by far the more comfortable and secure pair, but the foam will break down over time. The spin fit are more than adequate, but I do notice that they will wiggle themselves out of the ear during intense workouts.
I said MX3, not MX4
They are 191$ USD on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/WH-1000XM3-Wireless-canceling-Headset-International/dp/B07H2DBFQZ/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=sony+mx3&qid=1617895275&sr=8-3

No one can tell which size will work best for you, totally depends on your ears. I can use the M or L with these ear tips, but he S is too small for my ears. You can get the S,M,L pack to cover the range and then order a 3 pack in the size that fits you best. All the sizes fit in the charger case with no issues. Good luck.
> different shape, we recommend trying all of the different sized EarGels that come included i
What size did you order for 85T?

Of course ear tip fit is personal. I've tried several different brands and these work great for me:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082F526MJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just need to get the right size for your ears. I can use M or L, but S is too small and doesn't seal. Fit, comfort and sound quality for me are excellent, they stay in place during exercise, stay on the earphones when I remove them from my ears, and they fit in the charging case with no issues.
I highly recommend the 75t instead of 65t. The 75t have a magnet in the case so they won’t turn on inside the case like the 65ts do (or at least mine did) and their $150 on Amazon right now Jabra Elite 75t Earbuds – True Wireless Earbuds with Charging Case, Titanium Black – Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Earbuds with a Comfortable, Secure Fit, Long Battery Life, Great Sound https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X9VG6ZJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_FbBeGbB20XGSY
The sound is good and there won’t be any compatibility issues. Once you’ve connected them to your iPhone all you gotta do is take them out of the case and they automatically pair again within a couple seconds
I have used one of these with a few generations of headphones. They get excellent range and never have connectivity problems. The only catch is that you have to manually switch between headset and headphone mode via the button on the side when you want to switch between calls and music.
Too follow up on that thread (even if it's a bit old) I brought BeyerDynamics Microphone to use with my 85h (https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B075QT97BG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_zymZFbMK7K7DY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
And it unfortunately did not work :( I had to return it.
If anyone finds one that works with the 85h feel free to let me know.
Unfortunately, I don't have experience with other Bluetooth adapters, only the Jabra Link. For the adapter below, there are some reviews saying they have success with Jabra products. Pretty darned cheap and it might work...
I just followed instructions from Jabra Support.
First I tried resetting the earbuds. This did not fix the problem
They provided me a second solution. This solution partly fixed the problem. I only hear the clicking/hissing when the Sound mode is set of OFF. ANC and HearThrough do not have this problem.
If the challenge persists, update or re-install the firmware:
1. You will need to use the Jabra Sound+ app. You can download it for free here:
Jabra Sound+ - Android
Jabra Sound+ - iOS
2. Make sure your earbuds are paired with your mobile device and have at least 50% battery
3. Open Jabra Sound+ and make sure the earbuds are detected (they will be displayed by the Jabra device name as yellow circles with an L and R and may take a few minutes to appear)
4. From the headset tab, click on the Settings icon in the top right corner.
If there is a new firmware version available, select Firmware update available.
If there is no new firmware version available, select Personalize your headset, then Voice guidance language. Select the current language of the earbuds.
5. Tap Update Now and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update.
NOTE: Do not open the charging case until at least 10 seconds after it has stopped flashing purple. If the LED does not stop flashing after 15 minutes, open the lid of the charging case and close it again.
u/JabraSupport don't you think you should update the description on Amazon so that you don't deceive people? I just spent an hour trying to figure out how to set up Alexa.
Yeah - wired is the way to go on the cheaper end of things.
If you want to go wireless... you'd need to get a gaming specific headset that uses RF... it would have a base station that transmits, as opposed to a small dongle. There is a dual wireless headset from Arctis that does both Bluetooth + RF for gaming:
https://www.amazon.ca/SteelSeries-Arctis-Wireless-Gaming-Headset/dp/B079YBKT3H
Not cheap, but maybe you can find it cheaper on the used market.
This is what I told you
"Also, you can use this other app "BTmono" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bedoig.BTmono&hl=es_419 . This way you are not going to have any latency, but the audio quality is horrible."
Is what you call "calling mode". And is that you are expecting from the "gaming mode". The quality is so bad. Maybe for gaining it's ok, but for watching videos no.
It very much exists... try this link from your phone:
Hello /u/HairyToothpick,
Thank you for your question! You can find the Jabra Sound+ in the Google Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jabra.moments&hl=en_US
The requirements are listed at the bottom and we do require Android version 7.0 or higher for the app to function properly. There is no older version of the app that we offer either on the website or through an app store.
I recently switched from SpinFit CP360 to cheaper noname tips for Samsung IconX, and they are softer, so they don't cause so much fatigue, but at the same time they provide much better grip, even when wet.
Here are the tips: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WHFQLDY/
They are less spherical and more cylindrical, so maybe it is just the shape which is better for my ears.
Also found the tips from above set separately: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WHFQLDY/
In my opinion, they are better than SpinFit, so may be worth trying too
Some reviews say that these wings will fit 75t: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O681HJA/
I ordered them and will receive on Friday, so didn't try yet, after testing I can leave a comment about how they work.
It is really frustrating that Jabra doesn't provide default ear wings/hooks, because for me the seal is not good enough. I tried Comply foam, Misodiko, Spinfit tips. Comply tips just detach from earbud, Misodiko are pretty good, but they get bloated in water pretty fast and dry very slowly, Spinfit are the best so far, but still not enough to hold the earbuds for long time. Occasionally earbuds still fall out.
Now using Jaybird Vista, they have similar size case, similar size earbuds, but less battery and multipoint. But they hold in ears much better.
I am not familiar with the tips you mentioned, but I had a similar problem- it was nearly impossible to keep the buds in for an hour with the stock tips at any size. Very painful.
I switched from the silicone tips to these memory phone tips and I find them much more comfortable, and they stay in my ears more securely:

I promise you these foam tips will fix your problem. I had the same issue and not only do these keep them in they'll improve the sound too. My EA75T don't move a millimeter no matter what I'm doing.
Well you say that, but if it ends up breaking my expenisve buds, /u/JabraSupport would be well within their rights to pin the blame on me.
I could probably use this one
These are identical to the foam tips that came with my Jabra Elite Sports. They really lock them in my ears and provide a tight seal that makes the ear buds sound way better too. Jabra used to sell them on their website but now don't for some reason.
I've since gotten the EA65t and EA75t and use the foam tips on them. They fit onto all three models perfectly and fit easily in their cases too, except if wet (the foam expands a little). Sweat won't do it, but if I use my earbuds in the shower then I put the gel tips on.
I'm actually referring to a cable like the one in the link below, which has a mic built into the cable itself. Some XM3 owners have been using cables like this to overcome the lack of mic input in wired mode.

I'm having the same issues, sans ear wax, but with the addition of pain from the edges of the tip against my ear canal. Getting ready to try these from Amazon, figured it was worth a shot.

Even though they are listed as compatible, They don't really 'attach', they just sit on kind snugly but there is no real retention.
I just had one come off the ear-bud yesterday in the middle of a workout and get stuck in my ear. Will be returning to Amazon for a refund.
The link to Amazon from the Jabra product page shows that the release date for the Mint Elite Active 75t is June 5th .
They are available for pre-purchase on Amazon.
Is the goal of the Llink 380 dongle to have BT5.0? Would any BT 5.0 dongles get the same job done or is there something special about the Jabra Link?
Yes, I am referring to the galaxy buds+. I found replacement tips on amazon.
For me they have more of a tapered design vs the blunt and wide tips of the jabras. I find I can get a good seal without the discomfort. They aren't a perfect fit for the jabras, but once I got them on I had no issues with them coming off or the tips staying behind in my ear. I had no issues charging them.
There was the slightest trade off in sound, just a little less bass. But it was ok because that is one thing the jabras do extremely well. For me it was all about comfort. Even with how light the buttons are on the jabras, at times pressing them forces the buds further into your ear. The tapered design of the buds+ tips makes for a more comfortable seal for me. The jabras are wide and I think that is the source of their discomfort for me.
