Almost all the problems I've found have been already answered on the forums, although we played forgotten souls last Saturday and found some problems of our own, feel free to help: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1341700/lots-questions-after-our-first-play !! I love the game by the way, just painting them and even using the game as base rules for a custom PnP rpg campaign (system is simple but dynamic, not hours resolving stuff and reading guides).
Don't really play OL competitively mostly as a master. Everyone have fun just throwing dices and moving small pieces of painted plastic :)
I really like the quality and variety of colours you get out of the Citadel paints & brushes. Most hobby shops carry them. On amazon you can find a base set that will probably get you quite a bit of milage.
I don't know about homebrews campaigns, but the official app with two campaigns for the base game is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fantasyflightgames.rtl
You can't play as overlord with the app, only as hero.
I use red and white (master and minion respectively) 10 sided dice as hp counters for the monsters. That was really the only space saving issue I had. Remembering enemy hp and be daunting at times.
There is also an App called Descent Aid. Here is the Google Play Link. It has a dice roller and a HP/Fatigue counter. Sometimes I used this before my dice method for bosses. When my friends and I were in a rush to get a game in, we used the app to save time and space for our characters.
I created some stuff for descent, Custom Hybrid Classes, some items, some Neutral Skill Cards (that can be bought by any class if you pay the XP) and a variant for RAOV called Incidents for RAOV that tries to simplify the automated overlord mechanic. If you want more info this is my main post in BGG: https://boardgamegeek.com/article/19225140#19225140
Hope you like it!
Crown of Destiny appears to also be very cheap on US Amazon at the moment, at $16.04.
I’ve used this particular primer on all my descent minis with no issue. 2 cans got me through the entire catalogue of minis for 2e
I just used this dvd binder and scissors to make the slots big enough. In a couple spots I wasn't careful and patched with tape. Its real ugly but gets the job done! Holds tiles for all expansions with room to spare. Next task is getting a binder for all the cards
Your insert looks great. I'm going to be building mine this weekend.
Looking at your photos, I have this suggestion: Don't use rubber bands. They will stain your cards, and the tension and thinness will possibly put creases on the edges.
You obviously are willing to invest in keeping your games in good shape, so I recommend a plastic tape like Hugo's Amazing Tape. If you aren't familiar with it, it is just a strip of plastic that will stick to itself, but not the stuff it is wrapped around. You can cut it to the length you need, and wrap it up.
The link is to 1/2 tape, which I do use, but the 1" tape is easier to deal with. This also sold as "bondage tape", and sold in the adult sections of eBay and other online stores. It is used because you can tie your partner up, it's strong, but it won't stick to the skin. If you don't mind getting into the adult section, you can get more colors of tape than the clear Hugo's, and it is the exact same stuff.
Hope this helps. Your cards will appreciate it.
Thanks for checking out the app. So, the 1st part of the bug report isn't a bug just something I haven't added...yet. The 2nd part might be the bug I just fixed, where old game quest were not getting deleted. Did you delete any games bf making the one you had issues with?
So, for the wanted features, what takes most of the time is putting the data into tables. For example for quest rewards I would need: Quest, HeroWin_HeroXP, HeroWin_Gold, HeroWin_Relic, HeroWin_OLXP OLWin_HeroXP, OLWin_...
Right now I'm typing up the data for Plot cards and rumor cards. Thanks!
Edit: And Dicent is a great dice app that's free (Not mine, or anyone I know. Just one I use). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dicent&hl=en
