I recommend buying snuff set with mirror, razor and straw for easy and comfortable experience. I take the Kanna with small metal spoon, put it on the mirror and weigh it. Break the bigger chunks with the spoon and then cut further with razor.

Until you get used to it, a Milligram scale is recommended. Start with 15mg-50mg, depending on the route you’ll be using it. It comes with a double sided spoon and the larger side is extremely close to what I use per serving. So I’ve been using that now. But at first it really knocked me on my ass. So I bought a milligram scale. My gram scale wasn’t precise enough. It weighs up to 300 grams and only measured to 2 decimal places. As in 0.00 and it requires a good amount of weight before it even registered anything. So I got a precision milligram scale for very little money and it works great. It measures to 3 decimal points as in 0.000 and weighs up to 20 grams. Perfect for measuring Kanna, Ashwagandha, Polygala, etc, where the normal serving size is 10mg-130mg. But I use it to weigh kratom too as my normal amount is usually 5 grams. Which is 25% of the scales max amount. Here it is if interested in a very precise scale.
It should come with 2 microspoons. They also give you the approximate amounts for each one. Should be good enough. If you still want the scale, this is what I have. Works great and the price is right.

I would reccomend the powder because its generally more consistent. To measure liquid, you would use a syringe and measure by volume instead of weight. To find out how much you need is up to the individual. Start with a very very tiny amount (allergy,negative reaction test) Then go up incrementally 5mg->15mg-25mg etc. This process will take a few days It may not hit the first few days but once it does you will for sure know if its working or not, it is very noticeable

Zembrin is an otc med with kanna in it. I took it for a few years before finding extract. I had horrible experiences with SSRI's but Zembrin worked great for me, its really more a SRI anyway so maybe thats why idk. Now I use LM extract because its more cost effective at the small doses I use. You might want to try Zembrin before spending the $ on extract idk. Gram scales are cheap. You can get one for around $8 off Amazon. I use one like this regularly for measuring bulk supplement powders and stuff like that.
If you want a good scale, Amazon sells scale spoons and they are perfect for stuff like this. They are relatively cheap too from 10-20$
Never tried kanna but it's good with weighing kratom so I'm sure itd help alot with kanna
