I have found Automagic to be a very good replacement for everything that I used Llama for - except actual location awareness, which is the one niche that Llama solved brilliantly. On the other hand, Automagic is much easier to work with than Llama and especially its competitors (looking at you, Tasker!) so I suggest you give it a try.

People have tried recreating location awareness with other apps, and also with Automatic flows, but apparently it's not straightforward.
