This is what I had bought and they worked really well. Bright and it's a matches the filament location so it's super sharp in the protectors. This one was plug and play, really easy.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001LUT9SM I got a 12 gauge cord rated 15 amps, and it's working fine outside. Nothing runs hot. 10 gauge can't hurt, but it's overkill. The charger draws 12 amps max. You just need a cord rated higher than the charger. That said, Kia advises against using an extension cord at all.
Some will tell you that trickle charging is crazy slow. And it is. But I don't drive much—only about 5,000 miles a year—so it's not been a problem for me yet.
I used these and can confirm easy installation, a perfect fit, identical beam pattern and much brighter light. I have a US base model. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NPMMNR3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_BT1DFb91WY533

Never had a problem with our MUSTART charger from amazon. and its on sale right now... https://www.amazon.com/MUSTART-Portable-Charger-Electric-Charging/dp/B07THBGGMG/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2ROC9NU2AUEDX&keywords=mustart&qid=1669648979&sprefix=mustart%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-8&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.08f69ac3-fd3d-4b88-bca2-8997e41410bb&th=1 Double check that its the right NEMA plug for you though.
Got a Blink Level 2 charger on Amazon for about $450 I can't figure how to post photo in a Reddit comment.
I live in Pennsylvania and a I think about third of the price of the box and install was rebated on my state taxes.
I nailed a pine plank to the cinder block wall of my garage. An electrician friend installed it on the board. It is about 8 feet from the breaker box. I posted photos on the Amazon review page: https://www.amazon.com/Blink-HQ-150-Charging-Station/dp/B097J1RPCP/ref=sr\_1\_5?crid=3LCW9KKTRZPF7&keywords=blink+ev+charger+level+2&qid=1663204446&sprefix=blink+EV+charger%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-5
This is the one I'm using.
There are tons of different brands. You can usually find decent prices on AliExpress if you're comfortable buying from there.
I don’t want to sound like a dick, but there’s nothing to do. They likely wouldn’t know what to do. Unless there is something you think is wrong, bring it in. Many tire places will rotate for free. I’ve done this a few times. I use Mavis Discount Tire for reference. Buy a tire thread gage for like 5 bucks. What I bought:

I bought this one...
Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085Y5BBXX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It allows ABRP to get information directly from your car, state of charge, efficiency etc and it uses this info to more accurately predict range. While driving you get a predicted SOC at arrival. I think while charging, if you stay with the car, you get a predicted charge curve and an actual one.
It's not necessary, you can manually enter this information but it does work really well.
I agree, I really wish that they had a cargo mat too. We with went with this one
BDK-MT-785 Heavy Duty Cargo Liner... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PV5F2L6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Had to trim it, but it's a cheap option and works OK.
I got this one and like it:

Like this one - https://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-Home-Large-Static-Duster/dp/B01N1ZC0FU?th=1 - but thinking it's worth $20 is insane I think I got it at like a dollar store a decade ago.
Lol you can add one or two and then test it out, maybe 3 works too but I wanted it to be heard a little bit just in case. I used these

Auxito 9005/HB3 LED Bulbs, 6500K White Fanless Lights, 300% Brighter

2019 EX came with halogen bulbs, replaced with above LED.
I can't say they're 300% brighter, but pretty darn bright, as bright as my MDX.
Had them on for a while, works perfect. Almost ALL of the LED bulbs are from Chicom, these as well, but have lower price($40 for a set of two) than others above.
https://www.amazon.com/AUXITO-Headlight-Headlights-Conversion-Brighter/dp/B08FZZVKF8
I had the exact same issue. I was coming from an led car. You want these because they are the highest quality bulb they make and the best beam pattern. They are worth it by far. They cost more but they are set and forget. You shouldn’t have to set them level wise but they are adjustable for a flat beam. Incas they go in not no right. No worries. Basically it’s a very small device that connects to your car directly and to your phone over Bluetooth to monitor the battery level. Check out more info here:

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08NFLL3NT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1T5TWQC84ZNTJE8NNZ64
This is what was recommended to me by another owner.
Plug and play. No modification. The light pattern matched up very well. Went from dangerously dim lights to being able to see...everything. Best purchase for the car. Not sure why the stock lights were so poor. They do have cooling fans so with a quiet EV you can hear the fans humming.
If you don't mind the look, I applied 1" Gaffer tape to that trim to eliminate that reflection. Absolutely terrible design. There should be FMVSS regulations to prevent the use of highly reflective materials in front of the driver's position.

Bolts on with no modifications other than cuts in the plastic aeroshield under the car (and you can optionally just leave that off and make no mods).
I just had it installed on my 2022 - works great
I have 2022 LX and I git these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WMG43QJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They work well and they fit even tough Amazon claims it does not.
this is the one I have. Supports both 240v and 120v. Makes a good reason to sell the 120v or leave it at a house it may be useful for. You’ll just need the appropriate adapter. Which reminds me, I have a NEMA 6-50 adapter that’s now of no use to me.
Tux mats have amazing coverage, I love mine.
I bought a cut to fit rear mat this company makes floor mats for the Niro as well but they don't go up the sides of the foot well like tux mats: https://www.amazon.com/TOUGHPRO-Accessories-Compatible-KIA-EV/dp/B08CY9HP7S?th=1
basically works like this afaik (judging by my 2022):
power button on --> charging the 12V (so sitting idle in this conditon or driving you are charging the 12V)
utility mode on --> charging the 12V
Be careful not to use electronics without turning the car on otherwise you are using 12V to power it and will drain it. I bought one of these to monitor the 12V: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WCW49YM Works great. When i first hooked it up I found out that my brand new 2022 12V was low (probably from the shipment of the car as i bought it right off the delivery truck). I put it in utility mode and charged the 12V for a few hours to get it to 100% and so far it has held at a high charge rate. I also run the car daily.
I like this one since it has baking soda and carbon for cleaning the smells and odor. https://www.amazon.com/Pureflow-PC99273X-2017-20-Hyundai-2017-19/dp/B07WC4C3FN/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=112LY04LTA654&keywords=niro+ev+cabin+filter&qid=1645928602&sprefix=niro+cabin+filter%2Caps%2C222&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spL...
I've been using this one for my 2022 EX base since October (plugged into a NEMA 6-50 outlet in my garage). It's not fancy, but it gets the job done.
MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q2S86F5
I have these in my 2020 Niro EV and they have been working great. These pointy versions actually mimic normal bulbs even more. No shadow from the front bit.
I have this one but I haven't figured out how to get it to connect consistently. I have always eventually got it but sometimes it takes a few tries. They have a list of approved devices somewhere. I can't remember where though.
It's not the fanciest one, but I've been using MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger with me NEMA 6-50 outlet for a few months with zero issues (including freezing temperatures).
I have the LEFANEV 32 Amp EV Charger Level 2
Simple to use, and works great. Here’s a photo of mine.
I found them at a very small mom & pop store in Bismarck, North Dakota. You can find their online store here
I tested the 16000LM vs. 12000LM versions of the AUXITO 9005 HB3
1st photo: 16000LM (left) & OEM LIGHT (right)
2nd photo: 16000LM (left) vs. 12000LM (right)
3rd photo: 16000LM (both sides)
The clear winner (seeing in person) is the 16000LM, plus it blows away the OEM bulb.
When you remove the round headlight covers, pull them off instead of twisting. Maybe it was just really cold, but they were impossible to turn….popped off super easy when I pulled on them. I did twist them back on though.

Here is the install guide at the end of This forum past. The fuse panel is a better place to put it.
They work great, completely cover the front and rear, look great and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. The listing says 2021, but I took a shot and so happy I did as they look really sharp.

Here's a compatibility list from the official source including "niro 2017-”
Howtogeek posted an article in March 11 2020 listing all the vehicles that were compatible at the time including "niro 2017 and up"
Here's the video showing a kia sales rep pairing with a stock car presumably at the dealership.
It has to do with the niro ev because I drive one? 🤔😅 The infotainment center between all three versions of the Niro can't be that different.
It seems like it should also work because it works for other people according to other people in here.
Went with the ones below for headlights and fog lights. Very happy with them.

We got this one for the kid and dog. The mesh on the front and Velcro seatbelt areas are nice additional features over our old Amazon basics one. This one is much softer too. I also like that the sides of the seats are protected, unlike our old one. The seatbelt clip it came with was crap though.

Amazon carries the cabin filters as well - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RZRT4J7 worked for me. Took 2 minutes to do and was a lot cheaper than the $45 for parts labor they got me for the first time before I checked.
Awesome thank you!! Will this adaptor work even if the pictures show it attaching to a J1772 and then going into a Tesla? (Sorry it sounds like a dumb question to me but I’m not sure if it can be used the same switched around, put into a Tesla charger and then into niro) adaptor
Well, the trick is to get one that is "UL Certified" and most of the portable ones on Amazon are not UL certified. I've heard tales of them melting the plug into the socket of the car, requiring expensive repairs.
What I did was buy a older used designed-to-be-wall-mounted Aeroenvironment Level 2 charger (like this one) off of Craigslist and I carry that with me when needed. It's not small, but it's small enough, and I trust it not to melt or start a fire or ???
There are plenty of new UL Listed Level 2 chargers that are designed to be wall mounted on Amazon that might work from the likes of Juicebox, Chargepoint, etc. This one, from Grizzle says it's UL Listed and isn't particularly large or expensive.
I ended up ordering these. They fit great and took 15 minutes to put on. Very stong, but make some noise as expected. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RQS6T51/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I got. I actually got it from Lowes, but I don't think they carry it anymore. I usually don't hear that "click" when power kicks on and sometimes it takes like 30 seconds to start charging, but every time it always works!
https://www.amazon.com/Lectron-Tesla-Charger-J1772-Adapter/dp/B07V7V2QT8
These work great and are seriously a great price.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077DC39J9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Really you just need a 30 amp or higher and then you can get the faster 240v charging rates.
Any level 2 charger will require having an electrical panel that can support an additional 240v 40+amp breaker, so you might as well just have them install an outlet, rather than a hard line for higher end EV chargers.
I highly recommend carrying something like this in the car. https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GB40-UltraSafe-Lithium-Starter/dp/B015TKUPIC/
My 12v died within the first 6 months of owning it. Luckily we were at home and not stranded anywhere.
Also not recommending that specific unit - just the first one that popped up on Amazon. This is essentially what roadside assistance used to jump us as we didn’t have any cables. Now I try to take it out once a month or so to charge it and out it right back in.
I replaced the cargo light bulb with one of these. It's super bright. I also used them for the vanity lights behind the sun visors and the rear passenger dome light.
Unfortunately the passenger dome light burned itself one day when a passenger left their door open for a long while. I was sitting there and noticed the smoke. Quickly switched off the interior lights and took off the lens. The light was almost completely black and fell apart when I took it out. There's still a little bit of browning on the housing and lens.
So, not sure if it was a one-off or expected. Use it at your own risk.
Tap lights might be the way to go. Battery operated, just stick them to the side and tap them to turn them on/off. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Wireless-Portable-Convenient-48958-P1/dp/B08GY894Z3
I got this one

Trims to fit. Works great. Cheap!
Edit: Wow $30 now. Which isn’t bad but when I bought it the price was $17.
I just bought this one from Amazon. Only covers the back, but affordable, and works great. It's not quite as thick or sturdy as my WeatherTechs in my other cars, but the price was right and it's still very nice.
Any non-PHEV liner will work.
Since I don't have people sitting in my back seats often, I got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QJX17DY/
It's kind of cheap feeling, but it hangs fine and sturdily from the passenger backrest and I use standard grocery bags as liners.
I got these 9005 leds for my 2020 Niro EV EX. I measured the beam pattern and it’s nearly identical to the oem halogens, but also super bright and white. I love them.

This is the one I got.
FH Group F16401BLACK Black Trimmable Cargo Mat/Trunk Liner (Premium Quality Trimmable Cargo Mat/Trunk Liner) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H4QPJ4O
This is the one I got. For $17 I figured it was worth a shot. It has no smell that I can determine (at least no different than the existing plastic/new car smell).
I saw the video I think you're referring to. The replacement LED lights link provided by that video are no longer available on Amazon. I am sure some more searching will allow me to find them again.
As long as you can charge from home, you can't go wrong with it. If you daily commute is less than 26 miles, then the PHEV version might fit the bill better. Test drive both and then decide. If you like pep, the EV is very peppy.
I will say, there's very little maintenance for the EV. Check section 8-10 in the manual. It's my wife's car, and she insists on taking it to the dealer for maintenance. So far, they've only charged us $20 for tire rotations & inspections. Last time we brought it in, they almost set up and charged us for either the hybrid or PHEV version, and it was something like $80.
Whichever one you get, if it doesn't come with the cargo cover (non-Premium version didn't), we got one from Amazon for $100 cheaper than at the dealership.
