I used to work a salad station at a restaurant that sold a lot of salad. Some of the other commenters are correct it comes down to knife skills. A good mandolin can cut down time on onions and cucumbers but is not great for tomatoes. To me tomatoes are most efficiently cut with a knife but you could use one of these... In my other posts I said don't order from Amazon but this particular listing: https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-Stand-Mixer-4162897-W10112253/dp/B001DPM662 is just the Amazon storefront for Goodman's which is a legitimate appliance parts seller and is safe to buy from.
And do yourself a favor and buy the upgraded scraper paddle
There’s a bunch of brands, but something like these?

These decals would go really well with a silver kitchenaid.
It sounds like something is loose and the noise is that thing vibrating. Take a large screwdriver and put the blade against the housing and the handle against your ear and move the blade around touching different spots to help you pinpoint the noise. There is also a hook shaped dough hook that is an optional accessory. Many come with one or the other but not both.
Maybe generic ruber feet on Amazon I have the same model of kitchenaid and replace the feets with generic ruber feets from a local store.
If you get the 7 quart, they make a 3 quart bowl with whisk attachment that is great for whipping cream or icing when it may be hard to get a good 'whip' with the larger bowl. I love it and it fits my pro line 7 and pro 5 perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KN3CW-3-Qt-Stainless-Combi-Whip/dp/B002CI1X54/ref=sr\_1\_3?crid=2IE232ZAHPLSE&keywords=kitchenaid+3+qt+bowl&qid=1668008662&sprefix=kitchenaid+3%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-3&ufe=app\_do%3Aamzn1.fos.fa474c...
That is a great buy, its newer replacement model retails for $499, and I've seen them as low as $399. I got lucky last month and found one on the Facebook market place for $120. I see bargains all the time on marketplace for Kitchenaid mixers, here is a 8 Quart commercial that retails for $700
Will it be staying on the counter? I'd rather spend the money on the more powerful model than this bowl, and constantly being on display is teh only reason I can imagine spending extra vs the more utilitarian steel bowl.
You might be able to buy a bowl separately for less too
https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-Quart-Ceramic-Bowl-KSM2CB5/dp/B08Z5YXRQ3
It doesn't happen at all on the roller, only on the spaghetti attachment with the plastic cutter pieces. I might try once more with flouring extra though, but I'm just feeling less confident with these plastic pieces on the bottoms. I found some fully metal attachments from a different brand I'm tempted to try as well
Nevku brand https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YBWJPY8
People seem to love it I've never seen the advantage of the KitchenAid ice cream maker over something like: https://www.amazon.com/Nostalgia-PICM4BG-Electric-Easy-Carry-4-Quarts/dp/B07VVDTSQR. I much prefer the ice and salt approach to making everything cold since it doesn't require fitting a huge bowl into my usually packed freezer, plus it's way cheaper upfront.
It seems to work well and people who own it typically seem to be happy with it.
My personal thought is that a hand mixer is a cheaper, more versatile solution for small tasks. The combi bowl is $80 MSRP (and going for $90 on Amazon currently) while Consumer Reports' top-rated hand mixer can be had for less than $40 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TVWFEY). The hand mixer and do anything the combi bowl can do and more. Plus if you're doing something like making thousands of Christmas cookies, assembly line style, you can mix things like icing without occupying the stand mixer which might be busy with cookie dough. The only downside is that hand mixers are kinda cheap and flimsy and will break long before the stand mixer does.
Now ya gotta get the meat grinder and cheese grater attachments. If you get the meat grinder attachment, get a metal one, not the plastic one. It'll hold up better and you can properly chill it before grinding.
I have this one and it works great!
There are various sizes of bowls that fit the same model. Some of them will determine which attachments get used. Look on the bottom of the bowl and see if there's a size stamped on it. If not, you can always measure how much liquid it will hold. Most likely it's a 6 qt bowl.
This one is the most likely candidate.
I bought these to organise my beater attachments. I plan on 3D printing a rack to store the pasta press discs

i got this one. it fits good and i can put all the attachments in the pockets which frees up space in my drawers and cabinets. only bummer is if you have it under a cabinet you have to pull it out to take it on and off.
but i went for this one because it came in red, there might be better options if color restrictions aren't an issue.
Moreno's Restaurant Equipment. But they are closed for the virus. If you message them on their Facebook listing they'll come and meet you at the store.
you mean like one of these things with the nitrous cartridges? I would assume that's the whole idea. Or like the kind you use for soap? I would assume probably not, you'd get like slightly bubbly cream or something.
It’s just the standard guard that comes with the artisan, this isn’t the exact item, but looks identical to the OEM part

This thing is just such a pain, it slides around, the pour spout feels limiting and not wide enough, and it seems like it is not a great fit in the bowl, with some flour still popping out from the sides.
I’ve wondered if putting a bit of rubber in the rim would help with it moving around so badly, but i worry about creating more of a gap between the lip of the bowl and the guard
Weigh it and check the dimensions if the bag, .you might be able to take it on the plane with you.

Pound cake, and if you have a pretty bundt cake-pan, they are very festive! I'm making a pumpkin bundt cake in a Nordic ware "Harvest Leaves" bundt pan, with cream cheese frosting - it's always a hit, and it travels well.
I have only seen a clear glass bowl for the bowl-lift models and they aren't cheap. I have looked lots of places and come up empty.
There was a guy in this forum that used to 3D print these cool attachment plugs that fit under your cabinet and held your attachment the same way the mixer held them. Now there are sold on Amazon and other places. Not sure if this is his or a copy cat but here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/AIEVE-Attachment-Compatible-Kitchenaid-Attachments/dp/B08PD4K3PB
Yes you want the 6 quart version, . The accessories are all pretty much compatible between all the bowl lift models. Some of the 7/8 quart accessories are designed to reach a bit higher on the sides of the bowl but will otherwise work fine. Did you have the 6 wire or 11 wire whisk? If you had the 6 wire, the 11 wire is a bit of an upgrade (https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KN211WW-11-Wire-Quart-Stand/dp/B000PJ6XGQ)
This thing is the BEST! My mom had one for decades when I was growing up and never had issues with it. She recently bought me one as a housewarming gift when I bought my first home. It’s a workhorse, it’s quiet, the bits are dishwasher safe so it’s easy to clean, it’s awesome!

The last three letters (QOB) denote the color of your mixer and can be ignored when looking for attachments. Your model is a KSM500.
This hook will fit your model.
This will be unpopular but you could have done more research before pulling the trigger.
It gets 4.4 stars out of 5 stars by 2,339 ratings.
There are offbrand ones that are just as good but also ones that are bad. I bought this recently and it’s great, very heavy and quality construction. I figured I could probably cut the fettuccini by hand if I really want to.
I picked up this one a few years back and it's served me well (curse that link). I mostly use it for making pesto and bruschetta. Though Bosch makes pretty good stuff. The one you mentioned might be higher quality--even if it's twice as expensive. Good luck.
Im no expert, but I have the 6 qt mixer. I got a flex edge beater for 20 off amazon, but the one i ordered goes 404 when I clicked the order. Maybe this one?
This is the only bowl I’d consider ordering. I keep mine in the freezer and it’s great for cream and especially making butter.

In German that's called "Flugrost" - I couldn't find a proper translation, word by word that's "flying rust".
Is it possible that your cutlery has little rusty thingies? Or worst case it's in your dish washer itself. It's "contagious". You should be able to scrape/polish it away - and also on your cutlery. I use this: https://smile.amazon.de/dp/B0789SYYT8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JxPkFbG2BP1M9 It's made out of aluminium and has a magnet in it and maybe a bit of magic and pixie dust but it helps that it doesn't get worse.
I got a Hozodo grinder attachment for KitchenAid one day on a whim when it was on Deals of the Day on Amazon. It's all metal except for the pusher. I use it to grind meat, haven't made sausages. I hand wash it and keep it and its parts in the original box. It's saved me a bunch of money and makes fantastic burgers. Hozodo for KitchenAid on Amazon
I bought this one on Amazon on black Friday. It was easy enough to assemble and works great!

I haven't seen the reviews but I do like the shield with the pour spout. It does for me just what it claims to. Maybe people are pouring into it too fast? If you don't like it or don't want to take a chance on it, maybe something like this or this would be a good alternative.
I've used both an artisan and a pro and you'll have issues with stuff getting on the attachments either way, trust me. You'd have to make the machine as a whole much bigger to avoid that, and that would cause other problems like increased splatter and overly large footprint.
If you love to bake, my guess is the Pro will eventually win you over. It's so much better for bread and other stiff dough! It can handle stuff that will choke the Artisan. Experiment with it!
I have these: 3-Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter and I like them! The only other pasta making I’ve done was with a manual machine and I couldn’t get it to clamp to the counter properly so it was a nightmare. Grateful for the motor power on this.
When I was shopping around, I was trying to decide between the roller/cutter vs extruder attachment. From what I understand the extruded pasta takes a different dough and results can be more hit or miss, which put me off. And the roller can be used for other things whereas I don’t think I’d extrude any other kind of dough.
I am unfamiliar with that specific brand of part and whether it is legit or a knockoff (an issue on Amazon) but I've used this grease with much success. In general, you want a grease rated for food use. Just in case something happens and a bit gets in your food.
They both contain roller and cutters..

I can see a slightly different design. What about features?
