Internet historian does some absolutely hilarious promos on his channel. The NordVPN one that he did in his most recent video on architecture is a work of art. The ad starts at 11:14.
> How does he get the detailed maps? Step 1: get detailed map
It's unlikely that OP wonders how to get detailed maps in general. Even if you didn't know about it beforehand, the first google hit for "free detailed map" is Openstreetmap.
Hello!
I've been a Fan of Lemmino's videos for a very long time now and I'm a voxelartist who uses the voxel art program Magicavoxel (link here: https://ephtracy.github.io/ ) to create voxel art
so I thought why not do some Fanart of the Channel!
As someone who has actually worked with this kind of stuff, its a vector map.
Example of vector maps here: https://www.freepik.com/free-vectors/map
Then you use Adobe Illustrator to manipulate the vector image however you want.
Then you take the .ai file (The Adobe illustrator project file) and put it into Premiere Pro.
And then, since Premiere Pro and After effects work together you can open a new AE project of the map through PP, which is how you can then animate paths and whatever you like.
It all works together, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro. Yes, you can use plugins and stuff as I've seen others here mention, but it's completely unnecessary and it costs a lot of money. All you got to do is practice.
