I usually just go with Centric rotors and pads for normal cars. https://www.amazon.com/Centric-Preferred-Plain-Front-Brake/dp/B07VL975WD/ref=sr_1_4?c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Automotive+Replacement+Brake+Kits&qid=1612985901&refinements=p_89%3ACentric&s=automotive&sr=1-4&ts_id=15721791&a...
I used Prothane 19-1182-BL Black 26 mm Universal Greasable Sway Bar Bushing fits B Style Bracket https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0038768RQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_0XJZB4WZZDAY309JA0X3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 which are a direct fit. Helps a little, though the UR rear bar will really make a difference.

This is our new baby.
From here, we're going to another dealership where I'll be test driving a 2008 Honda Civic SI sedan
The LS is one owner, Florida car. It's in immaculate shape. They are taking the $7,500 everything included plus cost of registration/title
The new sensor is a Bosh sensor that Bosh says is compatible with the LS430. O2 sensor.
I tried removing the code using a OBD but it keeps coming back.
I read online that it may be the spark plugs so I tried replacing those but no dice.
Battery terminals and posts are probably dirty. There's a ton of ways to clean them. Here's an example of something you can find at the parts store.
https://www.amazon.com/STEELMAN-77042-Battery-Terminal-Cleaner/dp/B00MHT1X94
For the door locks not locking properly without manually switching it, you can replace the motor thats inside the actuator housing. These should work.
I hear its a chore to get them out but its a $5 fix on a weekend if you have the time.
Yes, buy new aftermarket. Here's something similar:
There's all kinds. I got black with black wires, you just snip and solder/heat shrink. That's what I prefer, but you can butt splice them in too I suppose. I tried everything cause I was on a time crunch and had to have the car running. Even depinned the original connector but couldn't get any solder to take...now I have extras for when the 3UZ hits 200K and some more inevitably snap. Good luck!
The front stock bar is 26mm so maybe the UR rear bar is a touch smaller. You can add https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038768RQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to the front stock sway bar. I did this on mine, straight bolt-on affair. You should follow up with fresh links, 555 makes OEM equivalent links that are stupid cheap. Partsouq has them... add them to a big order to save on shipping.
After sanding i finished with two layers of clear-coat
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043B7UQY
I have heard that clear-coating isnt very effective for headlight but im going to try and see for myself. It usually hazes up after a year so here's hoping.
Hi AutoBat, that’s ingenious!! :) However, you’ll need to promptly find a replacement latch so your girlfriend don’t need to.
P.S. I thought you were talking about this product:

But in between the first step and second step I buffed them with some meguiars ultimate cutting compound
You might need to make an account. When you go into craigslist and do your search for something, clicking all the checkboxes you want etc, you can save them with the button near the top right on the search page (it just says "save search"). From THERE I think in your account there's a section for saved searches, which you can use to turn on alerts. It just emails you daily(?) with new updates. Some info from CL itself here.
I had like 3-4 set up, one from Orange County, LA county, then I think I did SFBay and Sacramento. All of them were supposed to include posts within 200 miles and I also set parameters like year 2004-2006; mileage 2000-100,000; price 2,000-15,000; Clean title; has image; etc. I think I also had it try a few keywords like
>"LS430" OR "LS 430" OR "Lexus LS"
But I don't remember, you'd want to look up what search terms you can use on CL.
The whole actuator is included in the part number including the cables, and it’s almost $600.
You can rebuild it with a cheap motor though, it seams.

ASE master tech.
I have one in my LS400 and my LS430. Works fine. May need a plastic ring to fit correctly. It’s possible to use the old shell from the factory sub. I used silicone to seal it to prevent rattles. Remove rear seats and rear deck lid. Be careful with the b pillars as they have some tricky clips that are easy to break and there are curtain airbags back there. It’s possible to remove the sun without pulling the deck lid if you have two people and you strong arm it.
I would like to highly recommend one of these guys for drive throughs, tolls, etc.
Congrats man - looks incredible
Been using this in my Ls for the past few months. I was going to buy the 200 dollar adapter and decided this would be the lazy move for temporary but definitely keeping this permanent, I would recommend everyone give this cheaper alternative a try
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0SFMIH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_aKeYFbST5F7N3
Seconding the BT-45 TOY, I just bought one a couple weeks ago and its great! Not sure if alternatives do this, but it auto-plays your music when you turn the car on, and pauses the music on your phone when car is shut off. Also BT45-TOY works with steering wheel controls. It's great to not have to fuss with the phone at all.
Its kinda pricy but you can always return it if it doesn't work for you: https://www.amazon.com/USA-BT45-TOY-Bluetooth-Select-1998-2014/dp/B0178G5RRE
I also tried the "el-cheapo" bluetooth cassette from Walmart with no success. This one from Amazon works very well for me. Until I install a touchscreen in my LS430 I will use this.

I've had resistors for my fronts for four years and they haven't had an issue. Although I do baby them and always run them at least less than a minute at a time.
If you're not planning to do front + rear, you can add just these instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VTS4WS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vyAFFbDAXKG3S
If you add them to the rear but keep halogens on the front they work fine. But if you add those to both front and rear it won't work and you have to add resistors to at least one side (front or rear).
You could also get the sport version of the OEM shocks, the ride won't be too much off from standard OEM and would still be quite comfortable. The KYB kit has pretty good reviews.
I ordered a Aisin TKT-021 kit online ($170), whick includes the timing belt and much more, and also spark plugs. I was at 125k miles and the belt had not been done. My mechanic charged me $650 in Labor. So iamheero's comment is in the ballpark.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CTMSXY6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_A0pFFbFJ1VV29
Got them on Amazon. $22.99 no resistors needed and the bulb is adjustable with a small allen wrench. Wanted to look a little different from the stock LS's I see around here.
So the product you're looking for is called Shin Etsu grease, it's just a white silicone lube and can be purchased on Amazon here in the US easily. I bought this and use it maybe annually. Not sure it'll help with rattles but maybe on the door seals, it's good to help keep the rubber seals looking fresh. I love that stuff. The LS has SO many rubber seals around the doors which you'll discover when you try to do them with this stuff.
For rattles, you can buy adhesive backed felt and cut it, paste it around rattley areas. or buy friction tape (basically hockey tape) and use that. I did that per the clublexus forums' suggestions around my nav unit and that fixed all the creaking, I just have a noise in my passenger seat when someone's in it left to tackle.
Bummer about the amp, they're... Well, they're old now. Same with the rear deck sub which tends to rot out. Both should be fairly straightforward fixes for you or any car audio specialist.
For the nav thing, have you considered ordering an updated nav DVD? I bought one on ebay for like 15 bucks, it's definitely pirated so I haven't actually tried it (if you're in Socal I'll give it to you lol) but it may be worth a shot before taking to a dealer.
