Turn the ship around will be good for you. Although not everything from army leadership is applicable in business at least the question how pooculture affects your view on leadership is worth checking the book. Link to the book
I struggled with imposter syndrome also - and still do sometimes. I think it’s a normal metal reaction that’s probably tied to a predisposition to the ‘flight’ response.
For me, I take my leadership style from Extreme Ownership. It’s not for everyone but it worked (and still does) for me.

You could check out Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking. Also, shameless plug for our own writings, which will cover this and related topics.
It's hard to advise on what new skills you could learn without knowing your. A job where you sell people will demand a different skill-set from a job where you sell great products. Your best bet is to ask yourself "what are the unmet needs in my organization?" and develop the skills to meet those needs. Little by little, you'll carve out a niche.
Also, I'd ignore the common refrain that the Tyranny of Extroversion is an impediment to the success of introverts. This is mainly bogus. While the extroverts are gaining social currency by going to cocktail parties, schmoozing with higher-ups, and increasing their visibility, the introverts are honing their skills in a hidey-hole. It's much easier for us introverts to find a niche when there are so, so many things out there in the world to master.
I am writing a 13-week workshop right now on this exact topic. Since it's not quite completed yet, I'll refer you to two of my personal resources I use to grow myself and others in leadership principles (I am not getting paid for these plugs, I literally use this shit):
(1) Check out the Coaching for Leaders podcast. Weekly shows that connect you with the thought leaders in great leadership. Endless episodes on every topic imaginable.
(2) Check out the book The Coaching Habit. Looking at leadership through this lens helped me grow others more quickly than any other single thing.
