This site doesn't mention any rain in Bakersfield for those dates https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/bakersfield-ca/93301/daily-weather-forecast/327143?day=6
*Fingers crossed*
I guess we should all be ready for anything though...

sandbags like this are made to attach to the legs of your EZ up to keep them on the ground when you can't use stakes (like on concrete)
Thanks a lot! I went and stocked up on some lunchables, overnight oats and electrolytes. I try to take PPI only as a last resort, since they have some nasty side effects longterm. My friend recommended aloe herbal drink, since Tums/ peptobismol is not extremely helpful for me. I just started today, and it helped a ton. It tastes nasty as hell though haha.

My canopy came with 4 bags with velcro, that you fill on the spot with sand/rocks. Soemthing like this:
https://www.amazon.com/ABCCANOPY-Industrial-Weights-Canopy-4pcs-Pack/dp/B014ZMCAB0?th=1
Not sure if you can find something cheaper (4 for 16 seems like a lot), but a bunch of these should do the trick. Then you walk over and fill it up with rocks and sand once you arrive. They take up no space when they are empty.
Also forgot to add : anyone who plans on bringing canopy/ shade structure - invest in some heavy duty tent stakes. We had our tent/ canopy destroyed in Bradley, and trust me it sucks haha. I got some new stakes for Coachella and it saved our canopy from flying away. We bring a solar shower, they are not quite as great as the one that other person posted, but another great alternative. We also will have a privacy tent, they are great. I've also just done it in my swim suit.
I agree about the ground, it usually doesn't run off too much, but I also recommend something to stand on, such as bamboo shower thingy to keep your feets a biot more clean!
Not dumb at all. I got the shower "booth" and the shower compressor. The way we did it before, you fill the bucket with 1 gallon of water and you only turn shower head on when you rinse off/ wet your hair etc. It is not going to be same to your regular shower routine, but it felt pretty awesome just to freshen up/cool off. I would reccomend to set it up maybe away from your tent/ near the car. Soil is so dry in California that it dries out super fast in a sun. While perusing on Amazon, I saw that they now have propane heated portable showers. If you came a lot seems worth it! I'm surprised at how affordable they are. I've used a similar one in a camper van and it was amazing. Got hot fast.
As a fellow big guy, I've had fun wearing
I've gotten compliments on both and they are super fun and easy to wear without feeling restrictive. Sadly that rainbow sequien robe is unavailable but i'm sure u can find things like it
One thing I've like to use when using a solar shower is putting a straw beach mat down so my feet don't get all muddy from the ground like these POWGYM Pack of 2 Tropical Woven Straw Beach Mat, Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XL5ZQ5T/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_3H05FSQFVG4XAG0G5GSD
I'm seeing mid 80s for the entire festival with a 10% chance of rain on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/6d26f7451ca2867b2ce126665604af529baeca7961710e652d16f292d2d11795
Honestly, you've gotten a lot of answers. Several of the popular higher quality earplugs were mentioned and are mentioned by others and in the threads I linked.
As I said - many of them have different sizes to choose from. You can read the reviews on them on Amazon and search for "smaller ears" such as these.
You've also gotten more than one answer suggesting custom ones, which is truly the best way to get earplugs that work for you.
Okay so last year my boyfriend and I's first LIB and right as we packed the car and got ready to drive he randomly springs up and darts back inside to grab his moms foam back roller (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXD6L2Y/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?pd_rd_i=B01LYO2GF7&pd_rd_w=KMcSe&pf_rd_p=733540df-430d-45cd-9525-21bc15b0e6cc&pd_rd_wg=7a3OX&pf_rd_r=3S4WYBP5DR5VAZW4KZK5&pd_rd_r=d271c70c-506d-11e9-b24c-915462b500e8&th=1) and I kind of made fun of him for it along the drive there. Let me be the first to admit: IT WAS SO GENIUS. Waking up and rolling on this thing for a few minutes saved us from all those hills and valleys and walks! 11/10 I cannot recommend enough!
good looking out! i'll actually be wearing earplugs at an event for the first time this year and decided to splurge a little bit... Loop pulled me in with their marketing material, and they look cool but has anyone used them? the stuff i hear online is that they strike a good balance between style and sound quality.
This is the one I have. It runs off usb. I'm using a powerbank to run it. Between recharging my phone and powering random things I expect it to last.
That's definitely understandable, I know myself i'll be taking a shower right after and will be bringing these as well to share with everyone

I often fill my Camelbak/Hydration pack with coconut water. I find that the extra potassium really helps me prevent cramping, especially if you are going to beat those legs up shuffling the entire day!
If you do fill your pack with coconut water, make sure to rinse it out with clean water at the end of the day so it doesn't get all sticky and gross overnight. You can rinse out your pack and use one of these hanging dryers to dry it overnight (hang it onto your car or EZ-up):
Stay hydrated, take Vitamin B complex to further help hydration/hangovers, and extra potassium (bananas are great) if you tend to cramp after a long day.
I am testing something out this year.. (tbh I am actually using this as a practice run for keeping my tent cooler at bm since last year it hit 115 at bm!). Instead of those cheap space blankets that are noisy and rip super easy I am using a combo of aluminet and ust blankets and see how that works. I also have a tent fan. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YDQJ9EK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Bring a bottle of this: https://www.amazon.com/LyteShow-Bottles-Electrolyte-Concentrate-Rehydration/dp/B00EK0FGV4 Put one capful (3ml) in your water and consume before you go "out" at night and before you go to bed.
