That problem with player.exe, parent process of LiquidSky.exe. It start everytime with "Realtime" priority. You can change his priority to "Normal". That fix some lags and mouse freeeeeze. I use Process Explorer, part of SysinternalsSuite By Mark Russinovich (Microsoft). Very good tools :) https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
But I still do not understand why LiquidSky-player.exe process starts with a realtime priority??
Ok, so I tried all three. Nine worked. Oddly though, while using the X360ce app, the same issue happened where the joystick counted as buttons on the key pad. The link to the Amazon product page is here
if this is an issue with portforward, you have to use vpn... http://serverfault.com/questions/388717/how-to-traverse-carrier-grade-nat-large-scale-nat-to-reach-vpn-server
im not sure shoot an email to support

Hmm, you are the 2nd user to have issues with this one. It may work by placing X360_ce in the same folder in the /lib folder of the player. I need to get one of those controllers to test it out. http://www.x360ce.com/default.aspx

I think I had the same problem, but with Dota 2. When I try to edge pan, the mouse goes to the other monitor. Is this your problem? If so, I used http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net to lock my mouse to one screen so that I can edge pan when LiquidSky is fullscreen.
Hey there! :)
I really cant say if this will be campatible of any sort. But just stumpled over this.
Dont know if this is a livecd, or if it is install only.....
The "small" isos is only 239 MB.
But it is Debian Based. :)
Good luck. ;)
I needed to rebuild my SkyComputer because one of the programs installed on the SkyComputer was preventing me from connecting. I used WSUS Offline (http://www.wsusoffline.net/) to install windows updates. I rebooted and it came up pretty quickly. I wonder if antivirus programs such as Microsoft Security Essentials and Lavasoft Ad-aware Antivirus is causing long boot times.
it`s easy, you go to https://unetbootin.github.io/ download and run the app, get an usb key, plug it in, choose a distribution( i recommend ubuntu). restart the pc, boot from usb. few settings like timezone, language, then it installs itself. then you have to double click on the browser(firefox or chrome), type in liquidsky.tv, download the app, double click on it and thats it. you have pc now that dont uses half of its resources on looking for viruses. :P
Actually it seams its a bug in the skyos. I am able to install it on this laptop without rebooting (i start the service manually in the services mmc).
it's availible here http://www.proxycap.com/download.html with a 30 days trial, which should be enough for testing. (i have a licence my self)
Problem. The developer died. We dont know where his computer is. We can start from scratch but it might take a long time. I suggest getting the latest beta drivers and reverse engineer them. Here is a concept video for the new christmas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNPsc_SP3T4
I experience this as well and only way I get around it for now until they release a fix is using a VPN called IPVanish seems to give me the greatest connection so try that until the fix for the black screen is released which I believe is being included in the .41 upcoming update
I also have to use a VPN because my ISP has either routing problems or packet loss during day time to LiquidSky. (At night and the early morning it works fine)
Ian recommended to use a UDP VPN and I am currently testing with "CyberGhost". (You have to configure it with OpenVPN to use the UPD connection, but they have a manual on their website). Yes, it adds a little latency but it is still enjoyable. Way better than with the packet loss/routing probs.
I tried CyberGhost, but it didn't work with LiquidSky for me. And the site works fine, it's the connection to the cloud computer that has been blocked. I ended up going with Hide.me and it works perfectly.
This is what im using as long as you don't download anything else but LiquidSky you should be fine, works great for me.
only $126
Hey guys, is the XB1 controller recognized by the USB port on the back when used with a micro USB cable? Did you try a micro USB cable or a wireless adapter like this:
I don't yet have and XB1 controller for testing but I will try to get one soon. It seems there is not yet native support. I also wouldn't recommend using it over Bluetooth because of interference and latency. The Bluetooth adapter is most Android devices will not be good for gaming.

Im sure Liquidsky will run great on a 50 dollar amazon fire tablet and it supports OTG. Think its the cheapest most durable device you can get . It may not be a powerhouse but its cheapest off my head. The nexus 7 is really nice too. How has your experience with Liquidsky been so far Supmah. :) http://www.amazon.com/Fire-Display-Wi-Fi-GB-Includes/dp/B00TSUGXKE
I connected the controller using an xbox 360 usb wireless receiver. As for the mapping of the controller, deus ex was plug and play. As I said before this was back in November, so I don't completely recall my setup but I'm pretty sure I did the following:
sideload the liquidsky apk onto the nvida shield
install chainfire's sideload launcher so you can open the app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.tv.sideloadlauncher&hl=en)
open the liquidsky app and use a usb keyboard and mouse to navigate through the desktop interface.
Open a game that has controller support and viola. It should work off the bat.
I know things have changed since the last time I used the service, so I'm not sure how you'd go about mapping a controller now. Good luck!
It should be on the play store. Here's a link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.liquidsky&hl=en
If you have a rooted Nvidia shield with a custom rom that doesn't include the playstore. You'll have to download google apps first :)
