If you want to continue using Mailerlite to power your newsletter but use Revue to collect subscribers directly via Twitter, you can connect the two with Zapier (a data sync tool).
https://zapier.com/apps/revue/integrations/mailerlite
This automates the process so that when a subscriber signs up via Twitter, their contact details are automatically pushed through to Mailerlite where you can run your welcome email and newsletters. So you don't have to use Revue for anything other than collecting new subscribers via Twitter.
And depending on the number of new subscribers you get each month, Zapier's free plan might cover you so it won't cost more to do.
One of our users u/robotgirll does something similar for her newsletter.
I use Mailgun myself, but https://emailoctopus.com might be worth a look. Like Sendy they also use Amazon SES, so should be pretty cheap. And then you wouldn't have to deal with hosting it yourself, unlike Sendy. They say they have a developer API so maybe you can get metrics from that. Both Sendy and Email Octopus have list segmentation which should do the job for hiding sponsors; not sure if either of them support conditional content within an email.
We might be an option for you.
You could create the one account and within that account have multiple lists (there's no limit on the number of lists).
So in your case, each of the five different companies would have their own list in your account. You'd pay for the total number of contacts across all five of those lists.
Within each list you can create custom fields to assign data to contacts, which enables you to segment each company's list. And you can set up time-based automated email sequences for each list, for example, a welcome sequence.

I've basically been using this formula for my own https://ghost.org/blog/content-strategy-creator-funnel/
Lots of 1-on-1 convos on Twitter, consistent monthly mailing, a few live zoom calls with subs to drive referrals.
Thanks for your suggestion, as it made me actually ditch the idea of creating a newsletter on successful habits, instead I started working on mental models, and dude, it seems so powerful.
Currently, I have listed down around 360 mental models and I feel if you integrate it into your lives, it'll speed up your decision-making process 10x. So now I'll be creating a newsletter, where I'll be writing over one mental model in each issue [which'll be paid].
So repeating the question above once more, will you be interested in reading such content?
If yes, Please fill the form below:

I'd recommend EmailOctopus their deliverability is top-notch, amazing and easy to use UI, and the best part is they're free until 2500 subscribers. I've tried out many ESPs but found EmailOctopus to be the best.
Have you looked into Mailchimp's guide on this? If nothing else works, you could try making your newsletters smaller by reducing the size of the email and sending more often
What type niche are you looking for?
Ping me if you have interest in writing product/digital analytics (both tech and business side) and data driven business models in general.
I I've thinking to start newsletter around this anyway.
If you want understand bit deeper what type of content I'd like create here is good list of example people.
Angle could be bit different as I'd probably would like write to PM, CPO audience rather than for marketers due much less competition and equal if not larger market
Ahh that's super helpful. I didn't realize that unofficial API existed. carrd.co provides a way to run custom code in response to a form submission, so I may try hitting that API directly from my landing page.
Thanks again, super helpful!
Hi! Given Substack doesn't yet have an API so Carrd.co visitors cannot subscribe natively, I discovered a way to make it seamless using a hidden feature of the Substack Welcome page.
Check out this super short tutorial on Indie Hackers:
How do I automate subscribing with Carrd & Substack?
Hope you and others find this useful. I know I was quite frustrated until I stumbled upon it.
You can use most types of referral software, just do your research to pick one that suits your requirements best. Most of them offer some method of tracking referrals and either applying credits/points to the affiliate, or to offer monetary rewards.
As for physical rewards - this is a separate thing and can get expensive in both budget and time spent organising the logistics. Dropshipping is not easy. have you already budgeted for this?
I wrote a post about this here which you might find useful: https://ghost.org/blog/newsletter-referral-programs/ :)
You definitely can migrate from Substack to Ghost (or any other platform). For example, at Ghost we offer concierge migrations, or if you'd prefer to handle it yourself you can use the CLI migration tools :)
I am in the process of moving my weekly newsletter Creativerly to Ghost, just setting things up right now but it sounds like it could be the right platform for you!
