I'm not sure; haven't tried before. I've been using 87 octane in all my cars I had.
My friend needs to use 91 octane for his Acura Legend. He used 87 once and the car sucked up the gas quicker.
I guess its for performance?
:edit: Here is a good read about different octanes.
The strut housing recall? I took mine to the dealer right after I got her, glad I pinched it in time, now the strut housing will be the last thing to rust/deteriorate on that car.

Have been ordering from them for years. They are a Nissan dealer in Texas. Sometimes the shipping charges are a bit high for heavy parts, but still cheaper and more convenient than local dealer.
I googled for a coupon code and found this for 5% off: fb5
aux lighting, minimum of 7" lense.
roof or push bar, satin finish
I suggest the Hella 700FF's. Great pattern, excellent reach, high lumen output, and unbeatable price point.
here's a google image search of frontiers with them
and here's an amazon link for the whole kit.
I found one for the 2017+ Versa Note, but these replacements are all over Amazon for all kinds of Nissan models. The old heat exchanger just circulates coolant and transfers heat from coolant to the CVT during warmup then cools off the fluid at operating temperature. These aftermarket ones add two more ports so the actual transmission fluid can be cooled in its own radiator.
If you want to buy one of these you can pair it with a cooler from Hayden. People in the reviews seem to have a lot of success adding it to their CVT.
16's probably will fit but 15's won't.
If you're shopping for just whatever wheels, find some steelies and slap on some respectable hub-caps and be on your way. Or you could visit your local car forums and find some wheels you like and get them used, saving yourself a couple hundred bucks. If you prefer to buy new, tirerack is definitely the place to go. Most of the wheels that they sell are quality cast aluminum.
Your bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and like nismo44 said, that's a TON of cars. It's probably the most popular bolt pattern. Here's a list of the cars that use it.
I ordered and installed something similar to these (the ones I had are not in stock). I recommend to get a relay kit. The Brand I had was Audew, lasted me 2 years...cant say what happened to them cause I upgraded to a 2020 maxima lol
The manager didnt give me more for my car and on the contract said standard equipment so we brought it to the shop and took out the reverse camera mirror, and let the guy helping me keep the led head lamp bulbs lol

I would get a realay so you can hardwire to the battery. Again this what I used for my 2011 Maxima. I believe the sentra had standard reflectors which would work nicely but please aim them properly.

Which iPhone are you using and which USB cable?
I haven’t had any issues with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and Anker USB-C to Lightning Cable when using CarPlay on my 2022 Nissan Kicks SR.
I had some issues on my 2020 Nissan Kicks SR, but that would always be resolved with either unplugging the USB cable or restarting the iPhone (depending on the issue).

If it’s the one where you have to pull fluid through the dipstick tube, mightyvac also makes a big syringe pump thing that would work. It’s about 30$, you would just need to get a longer tube attachment to go into the dipstick tube.
It’s pretty easy.
I know this an Altima but it’s pretty much the same. The rear bumper on GTRs even come off pretty similar.
For the push pins they’re removing, you’ll need new push pins. The ones on your car are likely gone, or the ones remaining will break upon removal. Buy these for this reason.
Only other thing to really note, is DO NOT pry on your rear tail lights with any tools. You will 100% break the plastic on the piece. Just remove the nuts, and push out toward the rear of the car from the side of the headlight. It will eventually pop loose.
What engine does it have? I have the GA16i in my 89, but it's about to make me lose my god damn mind so I'm planning to put a GA16DE in it. I've spent the last 5 years trying to make it idle properly.
Anyway, if you have the GA16i, or CA18DE, this is what you want.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-UeM0YXUNpfMXNLeHBQLW8yN1E/edit?usp=sharing
The CA16DE won't be significantly different though since it's the same engine with a smaller bore. No matter what year you have, the body information in this manual will help you.
The other answers are all wrong except the guy who suggested a Philips Vision Plus bulb.
With a LED bulb, you'll likely have to adjust the lamps down to reduce glare, but remember, as you adjust the lamps down, even by a fraction of a degree, you're literally killing how far you can see. It's basic trigonometry.
Let's assume that your van's headlamps are 28 inches off the ground (2.33 feet). Reasonable assumption, given that it's a van and not a slammed sports car. There is a point that is 0.6 degrees below the horizontal and 1.3 degrees to the right of the vertical that describe a point/zone of intense light. This point corresponds to the right edge of the road. Your NV3500 came from the factory with the lamps aimed so that there is high-intensity light at 0.6 degrees down and 1.3 degrees right.
If you plug a LED in, get flashed, and adjust the lamp down just 0.4 degrees (from -0.6 degrees to -1.0 degrees), and assuming your lamps are 28 inches off the ground, you just decreased your headlamp's ability to illuminate the right road edge from 222 feet to 133 feet.
Don't believe me? Here's a right angle triangle calculator, go ahead, plug in the numbers and see for yourself.
I bought something sort of like that that.. it's a cargo mat that goes in the back and it velcros to the back of the 3rd row seats. It doesn't do anything to cover the front of the seats but it works well for the back

Do you mean the same kinda clips which hold the plastic in the wheel well and the lining in the trunk? If so you need a tool for that. I broke alot of the ones on my wheel well cover in my G37. https://www.amazon.ca/GOOACC-GRC-30-Retainer-Expansion-Replacement/dp/B07FV5ZJL3?ref_=Oct_s9_apbd_oup_hd_bw_b9zVIQt&pf_rd_r=SF6R3325QD13K60XX1VZ&pf_rd_p=5ca13698-8367-5673-9527-0409df0547b4&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-10&pf_rd_t=BROWSE&pf_rd_i=9154011011

Would this work? Description says it would fit my type of car and factory radio, but the radio itself doesn't have a 8 pin but a 12 pin. Would this 8 pin just insert in the 12 pin?

It is a H13, also known as a 9008 bulb. I've linked to the highest-performing bulbs on the market, and they're a pretty good price compared to parts stores. H13 at O'Reilly is 17 a piece, and that's for the dim, shitty halogens, not high-performance ones.
It looks like there are ones for your car that run around $15 on Amazon.

I put these $35 caps on my altima and it made the car look incredibly sporty while keeping the oem look. I got many compliments from my friends and my gf and only really up close can you tell they're not real wheels. They also kind of resemble the stock hubcaps so I'd recommend these to op.
You can try to compare color of your wheel with screen on your mobile phone. You can find that color code fast using this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.gevtech.rgbargbcolormixer
But don't do that direct on sunlight, because color is reflective. Try doing it inside your garage.
Sounds like you got a smokin' deal on that thing!
I like the blue. A simple clay, wash, buff, wax would get the depth out of the blue. Get that pop back. The people over at /r/AutoDetailing can help point you in the right direction...even the FAQ is a good read. Though the clear being shot on the roof is a loss cause. :(
Domo as Elvis sounds dope as hell. Maybe a 3D printed Elvis version of him as a hood ornament, or dangle from the rearview mirror!?
I painted the interior trim in my car, from the doorline up on the SE-R's were not painted black like the rest of the interior. Get a decent set of trim removal tools. Here is a set I got from amazon. Take your time on the rear interior trim panels behind the door. This is were the long handled tool from the kit comes in very handy. The interior trim i would use plastic specific paint. Multiple light coats is a good thing. Not too think, or you'll lose the texture on the plastic pieces.
If you ever wanted a sportier drive from that XE you can upgrade the sway bars. The stock SE-R sway bars are larger than the XE's, and are a simple swap. If you can get a set of SE-R springs too, with the sway bars, will make for a different feeling car. Not stiff by any means.
I had a base E model with a 4 speed before I got my SE-R. My dad was the one that killed it, overheated it. He's not good with cars lol.
Those GA16DE motors are peppy, and get great MPG! I think i had an eBay intake on mine...didnt do anything by make it sound cool...stick with the stock airbox.
No, it's too large for the wide one. I don't know how to change the port to update it. If you find a good tutorial, let me know!
Edit: I did find this.
Post back if you do this. I'm about to take the plunge as well. I ordered these just now:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H6NZ7D8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2,500 SOLID reviews.
I'm a bit confused about the low beam/high beam bit. I guess we need FOUR bulbs for our headlights to cover low and high? I'm used to bulbs that provide both. Plus the fog lights for me, so that's six of these.
most nissan underbody panels are held in with small or large versions of these: https://www.amazon.com/Nissan-Universal-Fender-Retainers-Diameter/dp/B0093RRSXS/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_263_bs_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=KQ9DRBJA04VYF4QZR0N3
A used one would definitely be cheaper, I'd check local listings or ebay(just make sure the seller has a 95%+ positivity rating). The only thing I'd say is to ask for proof that it works. I always buy stuff like this new, since you never know, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
Most radios wouldn't come with one, but you can typically find them fairly cheap(something like this - https://www.amazon.com/Pyle-PLCM18BC-License-Distance-Waterproof/dp/B0079R2MH6). This type of camera would just screw into the same screws as your license plate, and then the wire would be fed through the car to the radio. Make sure to read reviews on these also.
Keep in mind, unless your boyfriend is comfortable removing the trunk's interior panel, splicing into the reverse light for power, and then feeding the wires through the interior, you will want this installed by someone.
These cameras have 2 wires, one with a plug(like on a vcr or dvd player, that plugs into the tv), and one plain wire. The wire with the plug will be super long and will lead to the back of the radio, and the other wire would be spliced into a reverse light. As long as your boyfriend is comfortable with it, I'd have him do it(save the money, this is a DIY that is actually DIY), and if that's the case, don't be afraid to pm me for extra help. I have plenty of experience with this kind of thing, and I can also help with finding the videos to assist you guys.
Crutchfield has some good info on em
https://www.crutchfield.com/S-RohtcQVwsM4/learn/what-are-line-output-converters.html
https://www.amazon.com/Rothco-8312-Commando-Wire-Saw/dp/B000WDPGW2
So if there were enough clearance (and maybe add some masking tape to avoid scratching edge of hood), then feed a wire-saw around each clip and saw it off.
Another crazy idea would be if you can see the clips, get a long hose with some freeze spray and blast the plastic...this will make it so brittle it will shatter.
Note that the grill is held by tabs that hook under the edge of the bumper cover. So if you can put enough downward force on the bumper cover to free the bottom (may want to put some masking tape there to avoid scatching), maybe you can coax one or two of the clips to shatter and/or work loose? Since there are only four, if you can knock two out from below, then the other two may go easily.
The trick with most dash panels is that you have to pull them straight-out. They typically have plastic fingers that have metal clips on them and these match up to square/rectangular cut-outs in the dash framework. It's possible to use a screwdriver to pry out the panel but this usually results in either the panel, the dashboard, or both parts getting abraded/scuffed by the screwdriver.
There are tools specific to removing dash- and door panels that make this easier/less damaging which aren't that expensive. These tools usually have thin/low-profiles and are made of plastic so they give a little which minimizes damage to the panels/dashboards.
I bought a set of generics when I had to replace mine. Amazon has a set for $17
I programmed mine myself. It was pretty easy. On my phone so I can't find the instructions right now, but you basically turn your car partially on, and do a few things and it pairs the key fobs. Worth trying out for this price.
Good luck
It doesn't have one. You have 2 options. You can install a new head unit that has aux input and all that other jazz like bluetooth. Or you can install one of these which will add aux through the satellite radio input.
If you are handy with splicing wires I would just do the install yourself. If you have no idea how to splice wires or take a dash apart just look for a shop in your area that does car audio. If you end up finding a friend that knows how to do it, make sure they aren't just connecting wires with electrical tape and putting the radio back in your dash, that is bad news.
edit: Oh yeah and if you just want to cheap out you can get one of those FM transmitters. You just plug it in the cig lighters plug and it has a little transmitter on the wire with aux on the other end. You set the station on the transmitter and your radio to the station you choose (one with no signal/noise). The audio quality is not too great but its a cheap route and no install.
Don't use that Nissan brand fluid that's ridiculously expensive. I used Valvoline CVT fluid that has the same NS-2 quality standards that the Nissan brand CVT has. I got a case of 6 qt for $45 on Amazon. Had it over 40k miles and my car runs great. At 110k now.
edit: here you go, $52 shipped Prime: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DJ4FGIK
It wouldn't be hard to convert the 12v power to 6v with something like this:
edit: also does the head unit even power the backup camera? I know when installing an aftermarket backup camera it is best practice to wire the camera to the reverse lights so it only draws power while backing up.
It's true, it is hard to maintain. What I do is pressure wash the car down with water only. NEVER USE BRUSHES, ever. I spray wash with Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere and 3-5 microfiber cloths. This stuff is amazing.
Eventually they will just have to be replaced. It will seriously improve the look of the vehicle.
A friend used This to restore his headlights and had good results - you should be able to find it at most local auto-parts stores. My last pair of headlights lasted through 3 restorations before needing to be replaced.
Not that I've heard of but I know there are some members on the Nico Club forums that are Canadian.
Racingline Performance makes a kit to at footwell lights in the front and rear. As for the color-ed LED's on the inside you just need to look up the size of the bulb and order them.

Other than that there's not a whole lot you can do cosmetically. Everything else is going to be performance.

No, just buy the pre-programmed VDO Redi-Sensors from Amazon ($38.69 ea with free shipping). My tire shop swapped these for free as part of tire replacement.
You need to do the re-learn procedure, but you don't need anything more than a paperclip to do that and you sure as heck don't pay a dentist to brush your teeth so don't pay a dealer to register your sensors, you can do that yourself.
Any tire shop can re-register the sensors with the scan tool, which is quicker than re-learn, but it's not needed.
Re-learn involves shorting the TPMS diags connection, inflate four tires to specfied 'relearn' pressures, then driving until system learns it. http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=40601
I put the VDO Redi-Sensors on my 07 Maxima several years ago and they work fine.
