Could you do a wagon and one of those ultra compact strollers? I imagine some shopping would be difficult in a wagon (like clothes shopping.) Similar to this? gb Pockit+ Lightweight Baby Stroller, Umbrella Stroller, Collapsible, Travel-Friendly, Folds into Backpack, Fits in Overhead Compartments, Reclining Seat, UPF50+ Sun Canopy, Laguna Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079GXL8B5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gl_i_E1QYVXPY6EN8CCVMK0H9
Oddly specific question for city dwellers: Do we think a stroller wagon could be good as my only stroller? Thinking about something like this but I would definitely buy used.
My thought is that I'd like to avoid Ubers and busses such as much as possible after bubs is born, so something that could hold baby, diaper bag, groceries/farmers market haul, a case of diapers, etc and would be good for primarily daily and trips to the beach or park, would be ideal as heck.
But do I really want to use a wagon all the time? Is it going to be a lot more cumbersome to haul around compared to a stroller? Space is at a premium so I don't think I can swing a wagon and a regular stroller.
I bought this book when I found out I was expecting (:
It had good reviews, better than What to Expect. It's really nice so far. I read so much and now it's a great reference
I stopped using our garden tub for daily showers and just use our other shower (tiny sized). Looking forward to get a stool for shaving, etc., and this one caught my eye:
shower foot rest Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Can’t talk about longevity obviously since I’ve only had it one day but it’s super soft and comfy!!! Plus only like 40$ when the other I was looking at were 60+
I was a 36h pre-pregnancy. When I started busting out of my normal bras I bought these. The xl fits nicely on me. The 2x is too big in the band. I wanted kindred bravely, but couldn't justify the price.

Will be reusing the chicco keyfit30 again for this baby. It worked super well for us last time. Around 6 months we switched to convertible and got the graco extend2fit. They’re fine but can be hard to tighten sometimes.
If you end up getting a bucket one (which is super nice when they’re little because you can adjust their straps right in front of you not sideways in the car, this was a lifesaver for my arm and made it a lot more enjoyable to lug around:

This is the one I have. I typically use it the opposite way as pictured, as that seems to work better for me.
My go to business pants in my last pregnancy for my 9-5 office job, on my feet, with real pockets were these
Hello there! We loved this book "We're Pregnant!" and the follow up "We're Parents". You sound like a really awesome Dad ready to take care of your wife :)
I’m usually a medium in most things. I’m 5’5” and 150lbs Took a gamble with a medium and it paid off. I’m probably more weighty in my hips and thighs and have a small chest, have lots of room, and I think they’ll last for most of the bump growth? I might be too optimistic
After washing there is less room in the torso, keeping the straps longer works okay. They are short in the legs- I like an ankle moment, and they have a linen feel so for summer coming I think they’ll be comfy.
I also bought this pair they are MUCH longer in the legs- good for a cuff/roll for me and the fabric is pretty lightweight.
I had the frumpiest jersey tshirt material overalls last pregnancy and I lived in them. I don’t love leggings and I’m not excited for shorts season, but these overalls I think I’ll wear plenty even after pregnancy.
I don't have a recommendation for a specific one, but if you search "maternity pant extender" you can get these things that attach to your pant buttons and basically allow you to just wear your pants unbuttoned. Like this. Not sure how they deal with the zipper issue- that might still be a problem. But it might give you a few more weeks/months out of your current pants!
I don’t have to wear pants, bc it’s my own business, but I can’t imagine not wearing pants since I’m basically an ice cream machine mechanic. For the bloated days and because i know at some point i will hate the feeling of a waste-band I got Amazon overalls
They’re roomy and comfy and let me live my octogenarian art teacher fantasies.
But really, we need more maternity workwear out here

I just bought these and they are chefs kiss It hardly feels like I’m wearing a bra! Although my chest has significantly grown already, I followed my pre-preg size which led me to a medium but knowing how much bigger they’ll get I’ll probably buy more in large later in 2nd/3rd tri
I bought the 3 pack on Amazon twice! HOFISH 3PACK Full Bust Seamless Nursing Maternity Bras Bralette S-XXL with Extra Bra Extenders & Clips https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EFNPD7W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_F4BME3GTMXVKCDXZJ00F
I bought these from Amazon right before I got pregnant. I took the padding out and they’ve been great. They give me support and make sleeping more comfortable.
Baby won't be ready for this for a while, but today I ordered a mirror peekaboo puzzle a Montessori mom blogger/ instagrammer I like shared because it was more than 50% off. Love a bargain. And really excited to watch our baby learn and grow.

I got some sports bras from Amazon I love for sleeping and lounging! A three pack was like $30? Supportive enough that it reduces friction but not so constricting it’s painful.
I got this one some time last year. I like it! For what it’s worth, it doesn’t really seem like there’s that much of a difference between the different brands, since in my opinion it’s the manual positioning of the pillow that helps. Basically what I’m saying is they’re all just a long pillow. Lol. Right now I don’t sleep with it at night because I’m still able to spoon with my husband pretty comfortably, but when I take naps alone I do use it and it’s honestly so comfortable and I’ll probably start using it at night soon too

If you think you may have trouble with using your finger for application, you can purchase disposable suppository applicators online. I don’t have vaginismus so I’m unsure if the applicator would be easier to get up than a finger.

It would help if you detailed your preferences 🙂 under the bump or over? Are pockets a perk or a deterrent? I have these over the bump with pockets and they were the cheapest well reviewed ones I found. Unfortunately right now I'm in the awkward stage where I have a solid bump but it's not big enough to really hold them up. But I'm happy with the quality and think they'll last decently. I would have loved to find some cheaper but couldn't.
A lot of the information I learned initially was from watching Hapa Family videos on YouTube! The following books have also come highly recommended so I’m going to order at least the first book soon! 1. The Montessori Baby 2. The Montessori Toddler

I just bought these peppermint gums:
https://www.amazon.com/Gum-Peppermint-2-72-Ounce-Bags/dp/B00SLMZHTI
And while they don't take away the nausea it has helped mine be more manageable at least.
Cheap and worth a try.

I don't like pregnancy pillows and instead just use like 3. I hug one, sleep on a side sleeper memory foam and have a big one in between my leg. As belly grows, I'll use this wedge pillow again too.
Boring, but I finally found a decent bra!!! I'm a 32DD pre-pregnancy, which means that the nursing bras sized S/M/L just don't work for me. I need a S band size, but a larger cup size. It's really frustrating. But this bra is actually made for fuller figures and I'm so excited to have it!
Also liking this set of maternity underwear. I'm already bumpin' and these are flattering without cutting my bump in half like my regular boyshorts do.
I wore this kind all throughout my pregnancy. I found the over the bump kind and the ones that have the band around the front but under the bump to both be really uncomfortable, personally.
The new City Select 2 seats are backwards compatible, I took mine in to the store and clicked one on to be certain.
You do need the posts (the second seat adapters) and it looks like those are sold out again. I accidentally bought 2 though and haven’t dropped them off for Amazon return, send me a DM if you’d like them.
I ordered a pregnancy journal and it's arriving today! There aren't too many reviews, so I'm excited to see what's inside 😊
We already told our 5 year old (he’s ecstatic) and the not-quite-1-year old (ambivalent, obviously) and I have some advice from this and last time! We read A Child Is Born and skipped the couple of pages from the beginning where they talk about actual sex. Oddly enough, giving him the detailed information with pictures about the sperm meeting the egg etc has dispelled any questions about just where and how the sperm comes out of the man. He’s just so focused on the sperm’s journey and feels very informed! The pictures are incredible and it’s the same book I read as a little kid and it really helped me understand what was happening. Somehow, giving so much detail about the actual developmental biology completely distracts the little mind from the thought that they may be missing a key piece of info 😂 one of the first things he said when we told him this time was that he was so excited to read “the baby book” again, which we have many times since. It’s been a wonderful bonding thing for us to go through the book a few times a week and I just briefly explain each page and he looks at the pics and asks questions :) I hope however you tell them, it goes great!
I got most of my stuff from Old Navy and my favorite jeans are from there (front panel, not over the bump). They have cute summer blouses.
Target has cute maternity swimsuits online. Just bought a maternity dress from Target for an upcoming trip and general summer wear.
I love this shirt from Amazon, and just ordered two more link. I have 3 that I wore and washed often the first round, and no pilling (some of the super stretchy thin ones are bad with that).
I love Ginkana on Amazon. I got a couple size S of this t shirt for $6 each which is a steal! They run huge, they're more like t shirt dresses. Fabric is nice and thick, covers your bottom which I love when paired with leggings.
This is still a little sweet, but watered down Vitamin Water really helped me last go around. Also this Mint Just Water was a game changer! No sugar at all!

We have this one and love it. Fits in an overhead bin on an airplane. My three year old still uses it. Easy to popup curbs. This is a lightweight travel stroller though so if you want bigger storage you'll want to look somewhere else. There is a strap where you can attach any pumpkin seat too.
Everyone else has great comments for you so I don’t think I need to add mine. You can take 280iu of vitamin e daily. It can help prevent Preclampsia / clotting.
I actually take a lot of extra vitamins during pregnancy bc it helps when my body is drained.

I ordered the sweetest little announcement onesie off of Amazon. It’s customizable and arrived in just 5 days (even though it was supposed to take 9-10)! The picture I took doesn’t do it justice for how stinking tiny it is! I included my hand for comparison but I’m not sure that will help a bunch of people that I’ve never met. 🤣
My birthday is next weekend and our plan to announce to close family is as follows: We are going to wrap it like a normal present and then my husband is going to pretend like it’s a gift from him. He’s going to say he wants to record me opening it because he think it will generate some laughs (he’s gifted me funny gag gifts in the past at family gatherings). I’m going to act all suspicious/surprised that he wants to record but open it with the real plan of surprising everyone else!
I went onto Amazon and recently bought a Bravado maternity/nursing bra. It is the comfiest thing ever with my boobs being so sensitive!
Classy Amazon ones that had some support band built in. All cotton was key for my big ass bump in the Georgia summer.
