>ODU was just getting started in distance learning in the late 1980s, and if what the wife of a friend who used to work in that corner of the university tells me is accurate, they're quite good at it. If they don't provide good resources for remote one-on-one meetings with faculty/TAs/etc., everybody's gone enough bandwidth that Zoom (free for personal use and lots better than Skype) is a viable alternative.
Seconded. ODU is a national leader in distance learning...their CS courses designed by Zeil are excellent (and usually auto-graded). I also highly reccomend Dr. Bogack's classes (online and off). His online linear algebra classes was one of the best classes I have ever taken.
I don't know, but may I suggest two things to help cover your tracks. The first is free, PeerBlock. It kind of throws a cover over what you're doing. The second one is not free, a private VPN. I'm using Private Internet Access. It's like using a personal router with a bunch of other people, so be sure to flip around servers now and then or atleast don't use it when you're not pirating. Another benefit of PIA VPN is they have Canadian and overseas servers, so if you have a Netflix account you can access to other countries' Netflix, eg. Canada get's the first few seasons of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Also, don't be that dick who hogs all the bandwidth by torrenting 24/7. Get what you need and turn it off. If you're worried about ratios then get to 1.0 ration and turn it off.
I bought the book and the atlas and didn't use either one. His lectures contradict them.
