Before being pregnant, I wore exclusively sexy, underwire bras and mostly push-ups (34B).
I had a couple of 36B/34C bras when I was on my period and had tender boobs, so when I started getting a little bigger/tender at maybe 9 weeks I wore those. Then my SIL gave me a tip to just start wearing nursing bras, because they are made to be super stretchy and comfortable.
So I bought a pack of these from Amazon. OMG. So comfortable. They are super stretchy and they come with bra-extenders so you can adjust sizes pretty well. I love them. I will be ordering another pack.
Downside is, they are the opposite of sexy. However, I can unhook the cup and pop a boob out, which makes my husband laugh. So I call that a win.
So I don't own this dress but I was thinking of buying one because it gets great reviews, and even in the customer selfie photos it photographs really nicely! $25 amazon prime =) https://www.amazon.com/HARHAY-Womens-Maternity-Length-Sleeveless/dp/B01N05VP4P
So this is a high hurdle while preggers, but we've been Kon-Mari'ing one room at a time. It has made a huge difference. The book about how to do it is by Marie Kondo, and it's called The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. It has a bit of a cult following. The basic premise is to only keep things that bring you joy. Using it led to a drastic reduction in our clutter. We're not perfect (far from it, especially with a preschooler), but it helped immensely. It's also changed how I think about new purchases.
I was told I've got low iron and I should start taking iron twice a day. I did a lot of research and found this one:
Salus-Haus - Floradix Floravital Iron & Herbs Yeast Free - 8.5 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00028Q1ZI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_SUY78HwWjicX8
It has great reviews on r/babybumps and I figured it was worth a try. It's been seriously great! It tastes a bit gross, but if you chase it with orange juice (make sure it's not fortified with calcium) you can't taste it. Also vitamin C helps the body absorb iron. I feel freaking fantastic about 30 minutes after taking a dose, like, my heart rate and blood pressure go down, I have tons of energy, I don't feel sick at all. It's been great. And so far, no constipation, no upset tummy. When I went to my next appointment after being told to start iron, my midwife recommended this too, and said you either order it on Amazon or find it in health food stores. Sure said that is the best one she's ever seen, because it's so gentle.
Sorry for that word dump, I just recently went through this. I know the hard to breath feeling sucks a lot.
Also, fun fact that you may not know, the song 'Closing Time' by Semi Sonic is about giving birth. I was thinking about how my baby is probably thinking 'What the heck, my comfortable home is under siege' and it made me think of the song.
I bought this belly band from Amazon and it has worked out well for me. It's more compression-like, which is what I wanted, and I definitely feel a lot more support. I've only used it a handful of times, but I used it during a round of BH contractions, and after I took it off, I didn't feel so "overstretched" and uncomfortable.
I bought some awesome nursing bras on Amazon!!! I can't wear regular bras due to back pain but I grew out of my sports bras and my SIL suggested these . They are amazing!
Someone in /r/babybumps a while back recommended these maternity panties from Amazon. I figured "what the heck" and ordered a couple.
Holy COW these are comfortable. I ordered another two packs of them after a week. I think I may throw out all of my old underwear and just wear these forever.
I am 24 weeks today and just bought a belly band off of amazon. I work in a school and am on my feet for most of the day. On monday i had to go home early cause was I was so uncomfortable. Now that i have one, i cant imagine going through the day without it! it just feels like extra support and im in much less pain by the end of the day.
this is the one i got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0113WE0QS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I found these on amazon, this heather gray is so soft. A medium fits like leggings on my big preggo thighs. Cheap too! HDE Women's Maternity Yoga Pants Stretch Pregnancy Leggings Fold Over Waistband (Heather Gray, Medium) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0714FZQ3T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_35mlWUeLWkEUF
I didn't do an exhaustive comparison shopping but got mine from Amazon and it has been helping: Babo Care Breathable Abdominal Binder - Back and Pelvic Support - Comfortable Belly Band for Pregnancy - Prenatal Cradle for Baby - One Size,Pink Color https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JA7KLES/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zztWzbY2820JA
Amazon actually! They have a lot of different verses and it was so easy to put on! (Like 20 mins)
I just bought one of these maxi skirts on Amazon based on a recommendation in /r/BabyBumps yesterday. I will probably by more just waiting to see how this one is. I love maxi skirts cause they are stretchy and can wear after pregnancy also. Plus you can tie to the side if you want or hike up when you sit down. I like H&M Maternity - cheap and trendy. Otherwise ill probably live in maxi skirts/dresses.
I'm really relieved to hear I'm not alone in that. I'm very pale too, so that's a good point! I did find one dress on amazon that fits nicely (though it's a bit tight in the arms, I'll take it!), so there's hope for us.

I bought an actual journal because my husband feeds baby girl frozen when I’m sleeping
It also tracks dirty diapers, naps and whatever else. I love it.
I did use apps but honestly this is just easier to look at and do IMO
I got it on amazon for dirt cheap

oh no! We have a slight warm-up here and even that is killing me, I can't imagine dealing with the heat down there! My friend who is also due in October recommended these cold towels to me this summer and they were a life-saver! I'd definitely pick one up if you are able - they're generally at target or walmart too.

I bought a big pack of generic maternity pads off of Amazon, so that's my main plan. My doula recommended Depends or something similar, but she also hated the hospital mesh PP underwear, and some people seem to love it. The pads should be good enough, but I won't know what I like until I'm there.
I bought this: Hello Miz Maternity Asymmetrical Wrap Overlay Nursing Breastfeeding Top (X-LARGE, Black/Grey) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LDFYTFM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_v3bUzbD729TDF
It's super long but the sleeves are shorter than what's in the picture. I'm not too concerned about being fashionable while breastfeeding so I'm keeping it. Depending on how it works out I may buy it in a smaller size in a different color so I have options.
SAME. My boyfriend bought me one of these and it's been amazing. When I'm home and know I'm not going anywhere, I'll just close all the blinds and be naked in front of the fan drinking buttloads of water and playing video games.
CAN IT BE FALL YET PLEASE
Thanks! Shelves came from Amazon. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY5QZDG
They were fairly easy to assemble and pretty sturdy/well-made for the price. We replaced the drawer handle on the bottom with something a little more stylish to match the dresser.
it's from Amazon
Believe me I am paranoid too!! this is literally the only "baby" thing I have purchased and I justified it only because it was for the picture haha. It's now folded up in my nightstand so as to not jinx us with it's presence :)
I recommend an enema bulb! It's really old school, but my oh my. It never fails with me. I've had one for like two years now, totally feel like a hippy but my doctors say that's better than laxatives which can irritate the bowels and cause addiction. But what do I know! Stomachs are weird! I'm so glad for your touchdown! I wish you many more!
I've been eating Ginger People Gin-Gins. They have a bit of spice to them, and they have helped me a lot. That said, my nausea is more mild-to-moderate this time, so I don't know if it will help much.
