I have the Xtrons PE91CYPL in my 06/955 I love the radio and it's features. I recently changed the launcher to Car Launcher Pro which is way nicer than the stock one it came with. A bit more customization as you change all the widgets and placement. Thankfully mine didn't come with the beeps that yours is doing. It could be in the base settings - for mine, you click Settings > About - Then on the right side of the screen usually on the top row is another gear icon that you can click and get into the radios core settings.

Both of these are really nice.
