I wanted to keep the stock look, so I went with this, or something very like it: iSimple IS31 Antenna Bypass FM Modulator for Factory or Aftermarket Car Radios https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002U5XPBE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Ic0zFbCD6KG70
It solders as a tee into the FM antenna wire behind the unit and uses one FM frequency as tour new AUX mode. I pogrammed that frequency on one of my favorites button and that became mu aux button. I ran the aux port and USB port (charging only) to the arm rest center console. Eventually, I added Bluetooth to the car by connecting a Bluetooth adaptor to the aux input I’d put in. This worked really well. Note that for this one you will need to do a bit of center console and radio disassembly, but it’s really not a bad one.

I keep this XXL food delivery bag in the frunk and it fits almost perfectly. Great for grocery runs. Not really that great for weekend trips, but wouldn't be impossible to throw some folded clothes in or something.

I got this bag for the rear trunk. Barely fits in with the privacy cover on.
I used one of these. Can’t beat it for the $ if you want to keep the factory head unit:
Bluetooth Handsfree A2DP USB SD AUX Adapter for Porsche PCM2 PCM2.1 CDR23 911 Boxster Cayman Cayenne

One of those Li-ion jump start packs would work to power the release solenoid. https://www.amazon.com/NOCO-GB20-UltraSafe-Lithium-Gasoline/dp/B015TKPT1A/
They're kind of handy to have around anyway.
My 987.1 is always in the garage in winter without a battery. When I install it again in the spring, some indicator lights like the one for the ABS always light up at the beginning. But after a round around the block, all the lights go out. Check all fuses, maybe one is blown. But must also drive the side windows to the very bottom and to the very top, otherwise the automatic of the windows does not work.

Unfortunately no pic, sorry.
I had to mod the baskets a bit on a pair of shallow mount 8s. Worked well. They fit...
Then I put the amps in the frunk. Can't tell they're there. Everything looks pure stock.

If your car has a CD changer in the frunk, there are modules out there that you can plug into the fiber optic ring which emulate the CD changer as an AUX input.
If you have bose but no disc changer (somehow?) you would need to have the interior module coded for it via PIWIS / Durametric.
With one of those, you usually just select Disc 6 and that is your aux input. I have an aux to Bluetooth adapter for audio streaming and it works way better than the FM tuners that I tried. My car came with an old, long-discontinuned NAV-TV unit, but there are others available like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Handsfree-Adapter-Interface-Porsche/dp/B07PM28RRC
Yes - I have a 987 Cayman with the RockBros one-bike version from Amazon. It has been great so far! I have a bunch of pictures but they aren't on the interwebs yet.

It has withstood 70+ mph speeds while raining so I'm highly confident in it. I'm pretty sure a single one of the suction cups could hold the bike and there are 3 of them below the quick-release. Still, I don't do any aggressive cornering with a bike connected.
I have an '07 and I replaced the 6disc changer in the frunk with this amp along with 2 crossovers.
I'm currently installing this Subwoofer i've made in the trunk, I was going to put it behind the passenger seat but it was at little too restrictive on moving the seat back and there is no room under the seats. Also I have the Bose system speakers installed and have not replaced them yet, they take a lot of work to replace.
Maybe I'll post something about how I've done the install but there are plenty of guides over on 9 planet.
Hey are you referring to the link from the other post or some phone link?
My iPhone connects well and gives me Google maps etc through CarPlay but the recommendation was to use this USB tethered for stability.
I have this side pocket from the previous owner to drop my phone into:
https://www.amazon.com.au/PowerTiger-Storage-Organiser-Console-Non-slip/dp/B0743663D3
If you go with one of the bluetooth receivers, make sure you get one with built in ground loop noise isolation. If you don't, you'll get a high pitched hum that changes with your RPM because both the bluetooth receiver and the stereo are being powered by the same source.
If you can't find a receiver with it built in, you can also pick up an in-line isolator like this: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B019393MV2/
Also, be careful how you power the bluetooth receiver. If you decide to use the 12v outlet in the passenger footwell be aware that that outlet will always have power, even when the car is off. You can easily come back to a dead battery if you leave accessories plugged in there.
There's an easy fix for that if you're comfortable doing a minor mod with your fuses. I followed this guide: https://www.planet-9.com/threads/bluetooth-phone-auto-connect-with-key-insertion-finally.106153/. Now my receiver powers on and off with the car, and I don't have to worry about it draining the battery.
