Barring that, they sell rubber mitts you can store in the fueling compartment that are a bit more sturdy than a paper towel.

Yeah, that's true - but I did successfully intimidate a guy with it just 8 days ago - the tweaker legitimately tried to start a street fight with me, chest puffed out "I'll fuck you up!" sort of deal. And yet pointing a 16oz can of pepper gel at him, just pointing from 8 feet away, got him to cower up, shield has face, and meekly walk away.
I don't recommend spraying tweakers with pepper spray unless it's a total last resort, it's too debilitating and now you got a screaming, crying, tweaker to deal with who won't go anywhere. Meanwhile, a couple hits with a whip and a tweaker can still walk away.

well - the other paradox is that 'End Civ' comes specifically from this anti-industrial civilization 'anarchist' writer called Derrick Jensen. Reddit has real tools to handle this, like shadow bans.
But really though, we could build an AI tool that looks through their databases and at user behavior and within a year it would be detecting the vast majority of bots and vote manipulation. This type of application could be stood up by 3 college kids over a weekend, being basically a commodity these days, and over the course of few iterations work really well. They just don't seem to care, even as this appears to me as one of the biggest issues on this website.
