The Expectful app has lots of meditations for a subscription, and I ordered this workbook to help ease my worries. I am regularly reminding myself "different sperm, different egg, different pregnancy." Cautious congrats!
During my last pregnancy, when growth was a bit slower, I just bought a regular bra a cup size up for professional things and got away with wearing sports bras for casual clothes (I don't have to wear structured clothing most of the time.) I didn't feel like it was too much of an expense, since you'll probably hit that cup size again at some point, whether you keep that one through pregnancy or go back down to it when you finish nursing.
The comfy bras I'm current wearing are these, they are relatively inexpensive but be warned that for some reason the gray one and only the gray one shrunk in the wash?
I also have another one with more structure but I'm not seeing it on Amazon right now.
Note - even though I feel hUuUuge right now, for me, that's a C-cup; if you're starting from a bigger place you're probably going to want more support.
Came here to say this! I LOVE the smarty pants vitamins because they have DHA and methylfolate. I had a problem taking my prenatal vitamins in my first trimester because they kept making me throw up, which defeated the point because I wasn’t getting the nutrients. Since these are gummy vitamins it makes them really easy to take them.

Editing to add that I strongly prefer the original to the “Organic” version. The organic version has vegetarian flax seed oil instead of fish oil, which isn’t as good for you since its not DHA or EPA. Only go for the organic version if you’re a vegetarian.
I purchased and used the pregnancy after loss journal I found it especially helpful around the weeks when my previous loss occurred.
Yay! That’s so great to hear. You’re going to be so much more comfortable. I got this pillow and love it so far! https://www.amazon.com/INSEN-Pregnancy-Pillow-Maternity-Pregnant/dp/B08JLNPLK8/ref=mp_s_a_1_6
I have also felt the envy and frustration you are feeling. Most of my friends had an easy reproductive journey and it was difficult for me to understand my own loss. I felt guilty for feeling that way but as others have said I think it’s very common.
I don’t know if you are a book person but this book helped me.

A part I really resonated with talked about how many of our emotions come from expecting a certain reproductive story and when that doesn’t happen it is very upsetting. I think a lot of the root of this comes from the tradition of not talking about baby loss. Hopefully that will change with our generation! Sending love to you ❤️
I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I also suffer from a short luteal phase—a bit longer than yours at 9/10 days. I’m convinced it’s why I’ve had several CPs. Have also suffered a 12 week loss with no answer as to why.
I am sitting here with my week old double rainbow. The one thing I did different to conceive her and her older brother was take these conception vitamins meant to naturally lengthen your luteal phase.
Was it the difference maker for me or just sheer coincidence? I’ll never know. But could be worth a try! Good luck to you.
I read this book after mine. Is Your Body Baby Friendly?: How "Unexplained" Infertility, Miscarriage and IVF Failure Can Be Explained and Treated with Immunotherapy https://www.amazon.com/dp/0978507851/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4MO9Eb1E24Q4M
Turns out I needed Thyroid Meds, Progesterone, and I have MTFHR.
Thanks!! It was actually really cheap on amazon.

I went through a lot to find one that didn’t have a horrible taste and this one finally worked!
Unisom + B6 vitamins are the over the counter equivalent for the prescription anti nausea safe for pregnancy.
If it's minor, ginger candies and keeping something bland always in your stomach can help. These drops sort of worked:

I also had some luck with Gin Gins and mints.
I bought this combination drain cover/temperature sensor thing (I think at Target) during my first pregnancy because I love baths and wanted to feel no guilt. I think it will come in handy later when the baby is here too.
I take one almost every day (adding the Epsom salts is more recent to try to manage the pain), they are basically my only source of joy right now since I have GD and can’t eat anything I want to and everything hurts.
My pelvic floor PT recommended this belt when I first started having this pain (probably right around where you are now) and I held off because of the price but I bought it earlier this week because it was really getting bad and it does help for stabilizing during walking. If you get it, get one size bigger than you think you need because I mistakenly ordered the size I tried on at her office at 24 weeks and at 34...it just barely fits.
Congratulations!! But I’m sorry to hear you had such a rough time of things. Thank goodness you didn’t have anything serious going on with your heart or lungs! (Interestingly, I also felt like my hearing was off for several hours during and after labor. ♀️)
Take good care of yourself with that tear! My 2nd degree tear was no walk in the park, so I can only imagine what your recovery will be like. Sorry if I missed this in your post, but have you done a sitz bath yet? I wish I’d done one sooner—I felt like it really helped. I also invested in this sitz bath tea (I would add a bit of this and ~2 tbsp kosher salt to the water), which was very worth it imo.
The book Pregnancy After a Loss was really great for me - I also have What to Expect - first year (for the optimistic days) as well as The Wonder Weeks also for when bub arrives
Congrats on the good anatomy scan!
I wore compression stockings during a trip in September when I was on my feet a lot and getting a little swelling in my ankles. It took a couple days to get used to them, but then it was fine (and no swelling!).
My OB advised that the thigh-highs were more comfortable. He said that for my purposes (travel) I didn't need the kind where you get fitted at a medical supply place. And I didn't need something super-compressing. I ended up getting these.
Even though the compression level is weaker, they were still tight to put on the first few days. What I really liked was that the silicone beading did it's job: I never had a problem with them slipping down. They were super secure. And at least after a few washes, the silicone still worked fine.
Also, with a doctors "letter of medical necessity", they're FSA-eligible, if that's relevant.
I've had success with Actif. I take it first thing in the morning and haven't had any tummy troubles, but everyone's different. Hope you find a brand that works!
