Hey jazzmaster!
With millions of users, there are bound to be people who have gripes and complaints.
Unfortunately, there are communication issues from time-to-time that result in issues that shouldn't otherwise be there, but for the most part, we do handle things pretty well, and ultimately, there aren't any actual disputes.
If there were, I couldn't just post here on Reddit, as people would swarm me. Same with social media. My email is posted publicly all over - [email protected].
We have great people in place and processes that work, but the buck does stop here.
Rewards-based platforms are a challenge because there are tons of people who try to scam us, and we need to protect against that behavior. It sucks and is the worst part of the project.
We're always working on ways to do a better job and we do have a new system that's running in the background right now that should significantly improve things.
Brave also has tons of bad reviews and people calling them a scam. It's kind of the nature of what we're doing: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/brave.com
We are close to implementing web3 withdrawals, and are also exploring sidechains that will enable us to overcome the significant ethereum transaction costs that are another major issue we're running into. Getting closer to having some solutions in place there.
In the meantime, appreciate your and everyone else's patience as we get things figured out! We're getting there!
Hello what we have at this moment are the statistics of the node itself on the board, it is not as specific as what you are saying, You may also be able to view some other stats through a community member's app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.vuphan.prestats
Agree about the UI making it difficult to see trends long term. Adjustable time frame graphs are always easier to read. A presearch user made an app to display node statistics a little bit sexier. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.vuphan.prestats
Not sure if there is an ios version but this may be beneficial to you.
Yeah, I feel you. If you haven't seen this yet, check it out:
https://brave.com/download-dev/
It has all of the different iterations of Brave out there, including the developer version (which I run at work, but use plain old vanilla at home.) Never had the issues you described, but again that may just be specific to your machine. As far as the dsearch goes, you're not really missing out on much. One annoying feature with Presearch is they like to open a new tab for literally everything. It's terrible and dsearch adds one more window to that process (e.g. when you click on the result it's a brand new tab again.)
We need to create a server for fun runners community! Haha
PS. Typing this from one of the nodes I am running. For the other, I am using my NordVPN to use a different IP. Gladly nobody is running anything on that Public IP!
